Hi Mike. Yes they are an excellent machine for light work. Predominantly used for engraving as it has a floating head. Great for circuit boards. This little machine belongs to Melbourne Polytechnic TAFE. It was destined for the skip, but was save a resurrected. Cheers 🍻
@@olfoundryman8418 It was in a classroom that was being repurposed for another program. So everything gets tossed. Another teacher brought it down to me and it is now with our larger CNC (HAAS) machines.
Great little machine and looks more capable than I thought.
If the school wants to throw anything else out like this let me know!
Yes you would be surprised what gets tossed in academic institutions. Many have no clue what they are chucking out or their worth. 👍🍻
Gday Aaron, looks like a great machine for engraving, certainly got the spindle speed, cheers
Thanks Matty. Was mucking around yesterday on it at work and decided to shoot a quick video on the iPhone. Hope you’re doing well mate 👍🍻

Could you tell us a little bit about it plz mate?
This little CNC is made by a Japanese company called Roland. It has only a 400watt spindle and can only handle small cutters
@@DCT_Aaron_Engineering perfect mate thanks
Chip evacuation issue has been ignored though
Um yeah 😐. This happens manually with a vacuum cleaner after the fact 😝
Angry little sucker eh?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
G’day Robert. Yes they most certainly are. Very underpowered, but good for engraving. 🍻
