It seems that after slime goo coats the inside of the valve and the core, the core won't fall back out of the valve when you align it to come back out. Any ideas to retrieve the core? It's also way to short to push back out of the valve.
Perhaps the slime can be installed through a small tube so the inside of the valve doesn’t get fouled… or, try swabbing the inside of the valve clean afterwards with a scrap of very thin fabric and a toothpick. Finally, before pushing the valve core inside of the tube at the start, perhaps fishing line could be attached with something like hot glue so the valve core can be pulled back into place at the end, or a thin wire can be tightly wrapped around the threads for the same purpose.
@@JimGrisham Thanks for those possible suggestions. I learned that it was a non removal presta valve, and just replaced it with one that has a removable valve. Got the slime in easily with the new tube. Messing with a non removable valve was not worth the painful time and effort for the cost of the tube, but it was a good lesson.
who thought prestas were a good idea? literal garbage, next time ill double check if a tube I purchase is presta or not, can't even put my damn sealant inside them now.
