They’re a different ride. The Eagle X is rapid, but then the small sk8’s can really handle high speed too. The X is more efficient and even when the power is let off, so I’d say iron winds on speed. But I’ve never gps tracked the sk8 to know if it holds up when the power is kept on. The sk8 is mostly for getting playful
Well done this overview 👏👌 I just got an Eagle 790 for prone from your advice and I have so much fun with it when conditions are good. Which one would you recommend for light onshore wind, still for proning, for short carves and small aerials that recover easily in whitewater, easy endless pumping, all this in small conditions, 1-2 foot? I was thinkink of the Sk8 1150 or SS 1100 maybe
Oosh, Aerials, small wave performance and pumping is a hard combo! For carving and aerials the bigger sk8’s would be great, for forgiveness and pumping out in onshore the large eagles would take the win. The 990 eagle could be the weapon to compliment your 790 whilst adding low end
@poseidonwatersportsuk Thanks for your answer. I think this frontwing I discribed is missing in the F-one range. With the evolution of the shapes F-one could release one like that as for example Codefoils with the 980S or Unifoil with the progression range. I dream of a mix of Sk8/Eagle/Seven seas 😍
