I love how they made Jason Alexander the most obnoxious person lol from the shirt to not saying hello for Larry and calling him LD and it's just so nuanced how he's presented obnoxiously lol
@@iss6044thats more because he was very insecure. Academically speaking... He's certainly not too bright but like OP said he is perceptive. His downfall comes from his insecurity, paranoia, and selfishness
This actually happened, Jason Alexander on a documentary said he once had this interaction by telling Larry: "This is great, but nobody would respond like this" and then Larry said "What do you mean, this happened to me and this is exactly how I responded" 😂
There was another encounter in season 7 when Jason was belittling George as a character and Larry took it for a while until he said the character was stupid. Then Larry vehemently disagreed but felt all the other accusations were acceptable 😂
I just saw Larry David on Seth Myers chastising him for trying to use him to say hello on his behalf to a mutual friend. Here he is getting annoyed with Jason for not doing the same for him.
The bit where Jason tells Larry he looks great and Larry just kind of points to Jason and mumbles oh well come on, as if to say it's not hard in comparison to you, is so subtle.
If you wanna see the IRL version of this, checkout movie Pirates of Silicon Valley and how afterwards the guy who plays Steve Jobs opened for him at one of his talks, and you can almost see him coming to terms with how much of an accurately depicted asshole he was portrayed as.
Since Larry in the Curb-verse, (just like Real Life Larry) also did the things he based George's character on, it's just funny to imagine all the antics Curb-verse Larry got into during the pre-Seinfeld era. 🤣
Absolutely Genius. One of my favourite episodes is when susan dumps george and george is love sick in Jerrys apartment. 'I dont know what i will do without her a beautiful woman loved me' Jerry 'no she didnt" 'She did jerry, i miss her' Elaine 'you said going up the stairs to her apartment was like walking to a cell'ahahaha
This is like having one of those conversations you have in the shower but instead of that, LD used this episode to address the criticism aimed at him and the motivations for some of his stories.
Larry: asks Jason to say hello to Alan Alda on the phone. Jason: doesn’t 😂 Also: Jason: chafes at being characterized as a loser because of the character he played. Larry: that character was me, so how can you call him a loser? 😂
@@rschreck Thanks a lot! I can't believe I don't remember watching this. Either I somehow ended up not seeing that episode, or it is time for me to watch all seasons again! I am leaning towards the latter.
Ahhh where art imitates life and then screws us as George would say 😂Seinfeld/Curb is so much about ego projection and selfishness that well its a shame😂
I don't give a crap what anyone says. The clip of George eating the eclair from the trash was fn priceless when his mother inlaw caught him. Gold Jerry Gold.
A George divided against itself cannot stand.
Can’t Stand Ya!
You could say... George is on their MIND. 😮🕶️
I love how they both became George the more they talked about him.
True dat 😁
Except Larry's George just wasn't as good. ;-)
I love how Jason doubles down and goes in even harder after Larry gets offended. HAHAHAHA!
The clip starts out with Jason Alexander and we end up with George Costanza
Hahahahahah
Worlds are colliding - George is getting upset!
Larry is George...
The funny thing is that Jason Alexander in real life is a smart talented guy unlike his character George Costanza 😂😂
TWO George Costanza's arguin' with each other.
"George is gettin upset! Worlds are colliding!"
Kramer told me about the worlds.
I love how they made Jason Alexander the most obnoxious person lol from the shirt to not saying hello for Larry and calling him LD and it's just so nuanced how he's presented obnoxiously lol
And then they double down on the obnoxiousness later with the 'Acting Without Acting'
"You want ehhh... water or coffee or something...?"
"Uh... nah, I'm good."
"Ok."
This is Inception-level layers of making fun of yourself. Brilliant!
The way Larry and Jason can just escalate the irritation so gradually is just brilliant
"You think he's an idiot", Larry Fuming inside because George embodies him
you explained the title of the video 😄
George was never stupid, he was perceptive but would get lost in being nitpicky or pedantic, or caught in bad situations.
He describes himself as slow witted and an idiot multiple times in the show

Larry: Why didn't you say hi for me??

One of my favorite Curb clips. Larry David is nothing if not self-aware.
Jason Alexander is indeed a great actor.
Who?
Acting without acting
"Classic barnacle." HAHAHAHAHA!
There was another encounter in season 7 when Jason was belittling George as a character and Larry took it for a while until he said the character was stupid. Then Larry vehemently disagreed but felt all the other accusations were acceptable 😂
People actually ask why Seinfeld doesn’t come back but nobody talks about if Seinfeld came back that would basically make this show a reality show.
"IT'S NOT AN INCREDIBLY NOBLE EXPERIMENT"
I also take negative descriptions of George Costanza personally.
Somehow George and Ryan Gosling are literally me simultaneously
i really enjoyed watching this playlist.
thanks you so much 😊

What's the difference
Hysterical video here!! George is all about George!
George loves George!!😎 ✌
George is gettin' upset!
Jason played his role so well in pretty woman, I get angered every time I see him lol
I almost expected the both of them to shout “serenity now!” 😂
George is a fantastic actor. Often overlooked due to the others but his acting is tremendous!!
Jason Alexander*
@@Mmunchies That's the joke.

Wen the camera zooms in on Larry, "... You think George is an idiot?"
And there goes Cheryl agreeing and nodding to anything
👏 👏 👏 🦭
I will say that I'm not sure "idiot" is the first thing I think of when I think of George Costanza.

The Noble Experiment! ❤
I was in such a noble experiment. I was not noble for very long.
Jason keeps the hot side hot and the cool side cool

Thanks, bro, for adding the season and episode to the description!

After the contest episode sales of Glamour magazine went through the roof.

I wager to guess, 100% they had a conversation just like this in real life.
Thanks for sharing this video 🙏 📹
This was peak Curb.
I can't get over the reaction to the contest lol
Larry's offended he's calling him an idiot
Jason's offended he had to portray an idiot

I consider this season of Curb the true final season of Seinfeld
A tv show about a guy who made a tv show, pitching a tv show about a guy who was on a tv show, to a guy who was on his tv show.
Lol! Poor George. I mean, Jason
I love his indignant defense of eating pastry from a trash can, like it's unfair to look down on him for doing that when he had millions of dollars.
This is like having one of those conversations you have in the shower but instead of that, LD used this episode to address the criticism aimed at him and the motivations for some of his stories.
I’m mildly annoyed with how this actor 0:12 barely moves his mouth when speaking 0:23
I’m extremely annoyed.

Larry letting us know his input into Seinfeld creation

Early Curb was fantastic
Holy moly, Bojack Horseman writers are hacks.
That was the best season
“Can you shoot the whale from here?”

this was when Larry was a much more modest, relatable character, before they made him an unlikeable asshole character who only spouts 'larry-isms'
