All this people complaining is much more fixated on their mice specs than actually the feel when playing a game seriously.

I own both the Superlight and Atlantis Mini 1k. The Atlantis is better in almost every way except battery life. Clicks feel better, crisper, more spammable. Lower button height, shape more optimized for claw/relaxed claw. More maneuverability in claw/fingertip hybrid grip due to shorter length. Side buttons feel premium and not mushy at all. I absolutely can't go back to the superlight after using the atlantis mini. At half the price of the superlight its a no brainer.

@@OGSuperDirty also, logitech made the least amount of effort possible in their launch of the superlight 2. after many years its the same mouse with worse clicks. they make enough money so they dont really care about their mice. if u have a superlight 1 i would argue its honestly better if you enjoy light clicks that feel/sound good.

I agree with most points you made, but shape can be pretty subjective. The GPX Superlight is comfortable for most grips, I mained it for 2 years before switching to Lamzu Atlantis OG V2. At first I thought it was just a shape not suited for me, but after upping my sensitivity a bit I actually grew more comfortable with the mouse. My claw grip changed from relaxed to more aggressive and now that my hand is more accustomed to the new shape my aim is actually a bit better than before (My GPX also developed a double-clicking issue, so I swapped out for Huano blues). One thing I noticed with safe shapes like GPX is that they won't force your grip in any particular way, which is mostly a good thing. In my case, the aggressive flare on the Atlantis forced my claw grip to be more extreme but that actually helped the mouse sit better against my palm, which improved aim consistency at higher sensitivity despite being a lower weight. I now use grip tape on the side of my GPX to maintain that aggressive claw on the mouse while gaming. Overall, I would say that the shape of the Atlantis is better suited to my grip style than GPX. The DeathAdder V3 shape is more comfortable for me than GPX, and I can maintain the same level of accuracy with it. While the Atlantis is less comfortable than either of them, it is a better shape for me when it comes to aim consistency.

Same for me, except with the Atlantis mini v2. I didn’t think the shape was really for me, but now that I am used to it, it is my go to. I just perform the best with out of all of my mice. The pulsar x2v2 mini is right behind it

Everyone has their own opinions, I've had a superlight for about 2 years and currently switched to x2 v2. All i will say is you can't go wrong with a superlight, you know you are buying a good product. I got the x2 v2 im in love with the shape, sensor is really good but my left click has a crunch click which is sad. Overall, Logitech has a reputation about quality which means you will always get a good unit.

To my understanding, the GPX Superlight V2 switches break in after a week or two of use. Personally, I prefer switches that I can swap out and often enough optical switches make that nearly impossible. Today I was looking at Colorware, a place that semi-customizes paint colors, and before spending $225 I wanted to get some more opinions of that mouse. I don't know what black magic they put in that Logitech mouse but it's aim and accuracy is very evident. It's no mistake that MLG pros use this mouse quite a bit.
I have every one of the mice that you mentioned and a lot more. However, for accuracy my modded GPX Superlight Pro is my goat. For shotguns and running around like a crazy person on the small maps I actually prefer my Razer DeathAdder V2 with Pulsar glass skates V1.
_The modifications are: aftermarket hot-swappable PCB, TTC Gold Encoder, TTC Dustproof Gold 60M, and Esports Tiger ICE skates._

    • @DJaquithFL
      @DJaquithFL 11 місяців тому

.. The reason that I mentioned about the DeathAdder V2 is because the V3 _ain't_ no DeathAdder. I would love for Razer to make a 50-60g version of the V2. Also, I can't tell the difference between 1000/1ms or 2000/0.5ms or 4000 Hz/0.25ms polling rates on my Corsair Flex 240Hz monitor with 0.03ms response. Making 8 mouse position adjustments or more per frame showing on my monitor doesn't seem to do squat. I think it's an illusion that everybody wants to believe.

    • @DJaquithFL
      @DJaquithFL 11 місяців тому

LMAO .. at least as far as my PC's concerned we essentially have the nearly the same exact PC specs Including EK water blocks. Look up the CPU-Z I'm posting it's too funny. I wanted to populate all of my DIMM slots, I have an ASUS Rog Extreme with EKs monoblock EK-Quantum Momentum 2 with chrome copper piping instead of acrylic. I preferred the -book- look of EK side distro instead of the one over the front.
I've never returned a mouse unless it didn't work, If I make the mistake of buying a mouse I don't like I don't beat up Amazon or other companies. I just add it to the collection wall.
On a footnote I really wish that Logitech would keep the same design and offer a hot swappable PCB for switches and possible and encoder. Further out of love to see a carbon fiber version of the GPX with weight around 40 to 45 g. I assume that you're going to get the new Finalmouse. After a firmware update, it's nearly on par if not superior for tracking as the GPX. My only problem is it's size and to me it's too small so fortunately they're making a large version that will be offered sometime near Christmas. For $200 you should try it.

Refresh rates / Time between frames
      60Hz / 16.67ms
      144Hz / 6.94ms
      240Hz / 4.17ms
      360Hz / 2.78ms
Absolutely 100% I would strongly recommend that you try Esports Tiger ICE skates. Also, I would strongly recommend that you try the Artisan Hein FX MID at whatever size floats your boat. The extra large is huge, the largest a reasonably decent size and the small is definitely small. Does that make a difference between those two .. F YEAH IT DOES.
I'm nearly 60 years old and I destroy lobbies and playing Call of Duty. When I was with my clan I was their top player and often we would go on 50 and 60 plus winning streaks playing DOM. Some of my friends I've known for over 15 years simply playing Call of Duty. The skates are incredibly cheap and that mouse pad is under $75 bucks.
I think it's important for people to try different mice, set up differently, different mouse pads, different peripherals, etc.
I'm as much an audiophile and I'm using a good audiophile grade DAC with HIFIMAN planar headphones, custom built keyboard, and more .. yes everything adds up. Granted some things are for aesthetic value.
Anyway, last comment .. The only reason I'm going into such length is because you seem like you have similar passions as I do. I'm one of those people that explores every niche I can until I'm an expert or at least very knowledgeable at whatever I'm pursuing.
      Good luck! 😎👍

BASED opinions. I had a DAV3 and try the Pulsar X2 and the GPX still beat them both in all the ways that matter. Shape is #1 and the human hand prefers to grip around the narrow rear of the mouse unless you're some zoomer freak going some insane crab grip. Most people will have good control over a GPX it's that simple. As far as clicks and sensor, they are crispy and the sensor competed with the DAV3 @ 1000hz for sure. I did not get to try it at 4k. You could tell the Razer sensor was a hair sharper and faster to react in a Windows environment. In game I straight up played worse with the DAV3 due to the shape. As soon as I got back on the GPX it was a no brainer.

The stuttering issue at 4khz+ is normal. Only until last year you could get 2khz without the same problem.
Most games in rotation don’t actually support past 2.5khz - 3khz polling rate.
It will probably be a while before you see any change in the games as 2khz in a lot of developers eyes is the best you need.
The superlight 2s integration is great on 2khz it almost has the same response time as any non razer mouse that uses 4khz

Shape is king for sure. But Not neccesarily the one that is most compfy for you. I played best with the 303 Shroud edition and that one felt absolutely awful. Also click tension (post and pre travel mater a whole lot if you want the fastes reaction time. i have a wide variety of mice and the 303 SE with has the tightest and lightest clicksas well as my HSK ace and i get an average of 178ms with these. With other mice i get around 186ms and then i have the horible clicks on my HSK+ which make it impossible to react faster then 200ms just by taking so long to click.
1/2/4/8k play a role as well. Yes its marginal gains compared to the click tension but 10ms is an advantage non the less.
If the GPSL2 fits you thats a great thing. It will be a good alrounder for most.
But that mouse is like a running shoe you can have a alrounder but it will most likely not be the best fit for your specific use case.
I like the GPSL2 but only use it if I am casualy playing or sailing the Web.

If that's what you took from the video, that wasn't my intent. I mentioned the lamzu and dav3 because they're top mice that were used as a point of reference and despite the shape difference are still competing against the gpx--which is why I mentioned shape is the most important facet of a gaming mouse when picking what's best for each individual. In this case, the lamzu performed worse in games for me despite 4k polling and similar results in controlled synthetic tests. I probably shouldn't have used the word "copy" but rather "competitors" but I was recording off the cuff.

After buying a gpx superlight, to a viper v2 pro, to a lamzu atlantis mini i can say without a doubt that the gpx super light is the most overrated mouse, it feels terrible to use now compared to my Atlantis mini. Just cant go back.

Lamzu Atlantis mini is a solid mouse.

4k, ultralight (45-50 grams) etc are feature sets used by the marketing teams to give the consumers an excuse as to why they’re not good at fps games 😂. You do not need 4k. The other mice manufacturers are catering to the copium. 😂 I use an 80+ gram wired mouse and will dish out defeat left and right to these people while they’re using their 3395’s , 4-8k etc.

As an owner of the og gpro x superlight Ive been using since it came out I can confirm everything you said BUTTTT the skates do suck ALOT and they def shoulda upgraded it (sorry for my bad english)

I agree, the skates are razor thin and should've been upgraded with extras like lamzu provides. That said, mine have never had to be replaced.
