@TheWizzard1 I agree, but you can make your build stronger and cheaper by using a wooden foundation instead of dynamic and add storage by using chests instead of floors to hold down your reverse thrusters

I really like this design, best one i’ve seen, i made a pumper for one of my car tracks and this in a way reminds me of that. Looks great
I love how the wheels cover all points of potential friction. The popular LEGO Fortnite monorail design was flawed (found out through hard experience) because it was too easy to end up in a bugged state where the tracks break from contact. Gonna give this one a try.

Looks as amazing as an actual railway system. Like a prefab you'd find in the sample build system.
Appreciate the build, using it for what was a 30 min each way walk to desert. Great thing about it is, the easiest/least time consuming part is the only part that can really break. The rails suck to build, but once build are basically permenant .
Loving this easy, cheap, reliable build.

@@victory7763 He's not playing survival, but you can build this in survival. Just start using stairs/floors. It's still fortnite.

Soft curves, to make turns, would be an awesome addition.
For braking, have you tried making a small ramp at either end, to slow it down? Or a small gap for the tires to drop in, but still wide enough to boost out?

Any issues with any of the wheels deleting upon reload? I've seen some monorail cars with docking stations where they can push the car up onto something that will leave the wheels not touching anything in the resting position so the wheels don't delete. Otherwise, this looks like a really nice and practical design!

Dope I love it, i just wish we could actually use trains, i built tons of prototypes, snasbox and survival and all different ways and all of em have the same relog issue. I really hope they fix it.
Me too, scripted trains would be a great addition, also the relog issue it's horrible.
super good design i loved it a lot , unfortunetly until epic fixes the game more it wont work 100% , its just a waste of resources, because if u play with friends with diferent pings on the server, it lags the build and can break easly like even if you think its impossible ive seen it, ive donne a tunnel with a train there that was literely build to perfectly stay there and it did for me, my friend first try on it made it bug in the wall, and we rebuilt it , some time later when he used it , it also broke but this time it literely just break somehow . And ive broke another model ive donne before that was super secure to . But when it gets fixed im for sure gonna do this one

thing is after mechanical mayhem update u could add a large power center and replace the normal wheels with powered wheels for extra speed ✌️

Hi Wizzard, I’ve liked this build, seems stable. Did you try it on survival mode? Have any idea if it lasts long? My trains usually run fine then at some point something breaks out of the blue, be the tires, the rail, a motor.
It sucks the physics in the game at the moments, it seems with friction all parts keep taking damage.
I didn't make it in survival, but when you relogin usually something gets broken, but it happens to all machines, epic should do somthing with this bugs...
Tried this 2 times in survival mode, failed both times. The first time the cart fell off the track and some of the track fell as well. This happened when I was offline and when I hop back on the cart was on the ground. The second time was when I first move the cart. After I reached the middle, both of the big wheels on the back broke leading to the cart felling off the track once again.
This is a great design and workds perfectly. There is only one problem, every time i log out and re log back into the game, it breaks and falls off the track. Is there a way to prevent this? Am I doing something wrong? Your help is appreciated! I have all my tracks set up(took forever), but the car just wont stay together after I logout.

The issue is it uses tires which randomly disconnect. Leave the server and come back and you probably will have tires stuck to the track.

In the end i did similar design. Can you use it with chests? Tried so many and every one gets wrecked after re-log.
Don't do that, after some re-logs probably will be wrecked.
When I get back in, the train appears fallen and broken even with the floor down.
Some physics and desync issues, Epic should fix it
i built this in my survival world with my friend and everytime we log in to play it falls off through the tracks any idea why this happens or for a fix?

i see a lot of buildings, a do once a train, car, plane, but every creation like this is only possible playing solo? when i play with friends, everytime my train, plane, car, anything that is a vehicle, or just break the server and we logout or the vehicle just break everything and start glichting
ping and server desync issues, there is nothing we can do with that...
I put the driver seat and only have to hit y and b way faster than hitting the levers
I think you should put flooring down. The wheels might move faster and cause less friction

when i activate it, the top wheels sink into the tracks and then the underside wheels dont work, which makes it slow, what do i do?

If its built in a sandbox it doesn't work for survival. the servers are different This WILL break in survival.. all it takes is one bad loading zone and bamm

I tried to build this wonder train into survivor mode, but ever I close the game and back again, the train is breaked.

the real ? is , will it hold up to all the glitches with the "toy" objects. i've lost 5 airships already and 1 monorail just didn't spawn in after server reset .
Everything that is related to physics is a mystery, you never know if when you get in it will be there or not.
In early 2024 we are getting an update some maybe they will give us upgrade for vehicles

It's easy in sandbox. If your trying it in actual play modes its super hard to get just right.
Have you tried to make a fundation below the rails?
@TheWizzard1 friend and I have tried several different methods. Its about placement and its pretty hard to get the sweet spot. One of our rails worked really well. Then another didn't really work at all.

I doubt it they are much easier to control than airships and can be a faster more reliable way to move from base to base.

yeah it's the game mate all of them even if they're made bulletproof will break, hoping once the steering wheel gets added which was confirmed by devs they fix it, it's tiring having to remake builds over and over again because of how glitchy the toys are

I left my game and rejoined it and my car teleported into the ground with a bug that made it half invisible

Believe it or not, this thing is actually really solid. I've been testing several different versions of this prototype in a creative world and it always works. You can actually build this with the dynamic foundations on the same level as the track, just put the wheels on the foundations themselves instead of using rails to make it hang below. Making it longer or shorter has no harsh effects on it, and adding weight doesn't make it any slower unless you go overboard. There's 0 friction and it doesn't even make breaking noises while you're using it. Rejoining the game has no effect on it either. My only real complaint is that I haven't found a way to add a good braking system. I'd like to add stops in the middle of the track, but it's hard to slow it down quickly. It also tends to roll off somewhere when you hop out.
UPDATE/WARNING: I have just discovered that wheels have some weird form of durability. All of them break at the exact same time after a certain point. The system will occasionally need to be rebuilt (only the cart, not the track) and I would not recommend using it to hold lots of valuables unless you're positive the wheels have good durability. I am currently working on a safety mechanism that catches the cart after its wheels break. I'll make another update if I have something.

You have a small chance that it breaks, usually doesn't breaks

Entiendo a lo que te refieres, eso es porque el motor de físicas del Fortnite no está adaptado para este tipo de construcciones, siempre que sobre un poco de espacio entre las vías, no debería de romperse nada, aunque a veces al cargar partida las físicas de buguean y te encuentras cosas rotas, no hay nada que se le pueda hacer por el momento 🤷♂ @@garciaseijo677
Hola de nuevo, por lo que he visto cuando lo usas mucho las ruedas se "desgastan" es una mecánica algo extraña y con poco sentido la verdad, ese puede ser uno de los motivos para que se rompa la vía, supongo que será un bug del juego, pero me sorprende que lleguen a ocurrir esas cosas...

I'll be making some of that! I agree with you, with this design there is no way to rotate, it is designed to be fast in a straight line and that's it.
