I hear a lot of people comparing Lego Fortnite to Minecraft, but it reminds me more of TotK, at least in regards to building and cave styles. I need to check this out, this looks awesome!

im looking foreward to what this game will look like in a year or two with constant updates.
me too especially when they add more to do. Think abt all the items that have been in fortnite i think in 1 or 2 updates youll be able to build an actual plane or hot air balloon without having to do some special techniques.

If humans continue to master these builds and fly. We could theoretically land on mars
That hidden room with loot in caves goes for all cave types, not just ice. If you get your hands on dynamite early on, it's best to use that for those kinds of caves early, as your low tier pickaxe can't break the wall

nice video man learned a lot of reasons why im making mistakes in my "redstone" creations ahah maybe a discussion best saved for later for Lego came first but minecraft made a sandbox game first so.... never the less awesome to see people getting creative and making some awesome builds and yourself mate kudos on the plane man thats impressive !

For the hidden rooms in caves, I also had a massive flat boulder in my cave made of granite that blocked a path to another room, but there was no actual chest or anything in there, but who knows, maybe you will find something?
As someone who grew up playing the original Lego games, I have such mixed feelings on this game... on the one hand, its Lego... on the other its Fortnite.

Think of it like this - it’s a Lego game built by the people who make Unreal Engine, arguably the best video game engine out there. They have vast amounts of resources behind them to deliver a live services game over many years. I see nothing but upside personally. Lego Worlds wasn’t great and while this has room for improvement, it’s a really solid foundation to build on.

The dynamic objects are brilliant, it's like a whole another game within the game. I just yesterday came up with similar motor idea that you have on that plane and made a proof of concept. It worked nicely. Not sure if the pieces take damage overtime. Wondering if certain pieces have more health?

Yes! All single platform. I wish interlocking parts wasn't as glitchy but it'll have to do until we're allowed to 'assign' switches to thrusters.

Dang Fortnite engineers out here lol. I have to admit, Lego Fortnite is one of the best games I have ever played. It is so relaxing to just farm material and build.

Very cool TGP😉....just started playing it last night. Since there are so many here that play the game....how do I stay warm while exploring? (Also I'm not in the sandbox)....by the way the cold sucks...🤣
You can make a torch to hold and keep ypu warm while you explore!
You can get peppers from the desert biome and could make a spicy burger
Use torch, spicy burger and cool charms (you should unlock them quite early on, take the time to find sand rollers and craft these. They also give you health and dmg resistance)
When I tried building the plane, I clicked the lever and all the thrusters turned on at the same time

normally my game does not do this but I have been having this bug where if I break a bottom piece, the top also breaks. When it does not do that, top floats. Any help on how to fix, please reply

The fact you need to take advantage of a bug to get the rockets to operate independently, that's so annoying, there should be a defined mechanism for that
It isn’t even a bug.
The problem with these flying builds is how to get down.
Just add weight to it (like foundation blocks). The balloons react to weight of the craft. Alternatively, you can gradually pop balloons to lower them.
Using the build with small balloons and a thruster is great too. Just turn off the bottom thruster and it'll land itself
Can you please clarify, do these vehicle builds work in survival mode?

Don’t mean to be that person but PSA you can find hidden walls in all caves also if you make vehicles line the bottom and sides with frost line stairs tell become extremely durable and be able to smash rocks and trees

the vehicle builds are cool and all but i have yet to see anyone do them in survival
Lots of players, me included, have survival monorails and flying vehicles!
keep in mind ppl doing these in sandbox mode not survival way harder to do in survival but ive done it

Nope!
How are you flying? As in levitating.
Creative mode! When you set up a world, you need to tick 'Creative' instead of 'Survival' then just double jump to activate the fly mode.

It makes me sad that Lego worlds set the foundation for a good Lego sandbox game with a better artstyle than this, but they abandoned the game so quickly in favor of developing this, an effectively worse version of the same game.
