I think you are the only person teaching this vulnerable side-toward-you position, Dennis, and it makes a lot of sense. Also your body position representing where a leg cue will be when riding. The face-me concept easily leads to "get in my face" as this young lady was struggling with.
Really enjoyed everything about this video and what you are thinking in every step you take. it’s very mindful and has meaning and purpose to help both the horse and the girl riding. I would have loved to see the riding lesson too.
I am afraid, that this girl is not ready for the information you give. And she understands nothing. It is the same if for the child 8 years old you try to teach a program from University 😊
She is 16 and needs to hear the truth somewhere . This is her horse and it doesn’t care how old or how much she understands . She is here to learn so she needs to see what can be done before she can be expected to implement my idea . She is smart and has a lot of try and that is enough to get a good start on understanding .
Hi Alex, this is the girls father, I can assure you she understand the lesson well and has more horse sense then both of us. You should be mindful that your posts, while anonymous (maybe, consider using your full name) should still reflect societal expectations of civility. Be aware that whatever you post will likely be read by all who follow the channel, including the young lady, and should be written with this in mind. I'm not your father but a good principle here is: If you can not say something nice and encouraging that will improve our understanding of horses, it is best not so say anything. Then you are bad in mathematics, because (y+x), will always be more, than X, where X is your daughter and Y is you. So, X can never new more, than you both! Ok?? If you ment that Y is you and X is me, then, you can not be sure, what we have at the end, because you do not know me. Ok? What to write and how to comment, it is people's self decision and it is not polite as minimum to give any advises to anybody, if they are not asked! Ok? If you want to hear only nice stories, then buy the tales and read them, they have always good end. Writing the comment I did not mention anything bad about this girl, my words were directed to the teacher!!! Read it one more time and you will understand my idea.
