Team:DONT CUT. Love the uniqueness of the purse. It's so cute and very stylish. You can also dye it later and and/or add jewels or beads to the cords for different looks. So many style options. Love it. Tfs.
yess!! it looks so cute with the strings not cut! 🫶🏼
That would be amazing!
It looks artistic and unique with them not cut and it also looks freaking cute
Fr I see comments with TEAM CUT. TEAM DONT. I 100% agree on not cutting. It’s HER work not everyone else’s uk? So like…cmon I think it’s beautiful and it gives that look she was after!
Thread charms or beads on the hanging pieces and tie them on. pearls would be really cute
Ooooh i love this idea!
Omg! I can't believe you liked my idea. I love you Jen! 😍
Team CUT
as a crocheter, I love the loose strands but I feel like there is a better way to express that. Maybe after weaving in your ends, you could have gradient tassels around the top of the bag and maybe even a crochet pocket in the front. Whatever you choose it will be amazing that's for sure! Pro-tip: to avoid stretchiness line the inside with some kind of fabric like how they do with some crochet tote bags!
I love the simplistic way you showed how to make the t-shirt yarn. Prior to watching your tutorial it seamed very time consuming. You show a cool and easy way to get it done. Thank you.
Yess it’s super easy!
It’s so cute, you did a fantastic job. I would definitely cut the thread, at least on the strap for a cleaner look.
DIY Jen is back! I'm so excited to see what you've made! 😀💖
I think the hanging pieces of yarn somehow make it look more expensive - like if you got that from some brand it would be much more expensive cause it looks artsy or whatever
The purse looks so great! Love the loose threads personally
You don’t have to cut the threads you can hide them by pulling the yarn through each stitch, that’s what I usually do with every project but with stuffs animals I just pull the yarn through the body and cut the ends. Hope this helps!
I like the look of the loose threads so much
It turned out SO CUTE!! I love the random end pieces. It gives it cool texture. I've been wanting to make t-shirt yarn for a while. Someday I'll try it. 😄
I love hearing you talk about shows while you’re doing a project!!
I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE BACK!!!!❤️😭😁 also the bag is super cute
just found this video and i loved your vibe right away😭
This inspired me to try crochet...thanks jen! It looked amazing 🤩
the bag turned out so cuuuteee!! you slayed like always
you can also use old stockings to make yarn btw!! i made a small plush keychain from a pair of stockings
this is actually such a cute idea !!
Thats the perfect timing for this video for me cause i recently started crocheting again ❤❤❤❤❤ me thats giving me motivation
aaaaa as a crochet artist i love seeing you crochet!
UGHHH I JUST LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH AND THE SONGS!!!!!!!
It came out so good!!
the bag turned out so cute!! you could turn some of the lil hanging pieces into cute lil bows instead. my fave part of your bag is the colorblocked strap!!
this is such a cool purse! I love the sustainability. This will help with all my college T's I don't want to give away
Everytime I hear your music I reach for shazam thinking why don't I know the name must have been on the radio etc. Literally obsessed and you deserve so much more recognition for these songs. They always make me so warm and emotional lol and good to sing along ❤
it turns out soo cutee
The bag is so cute ❤
Wow the bag looks pretty good ❤❤
This is literally perfect timing- I just finished two sewing projects
This is exactly what I was looking for! Love it!! :D
"Lost" is SUCH a good show!! I watched it a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Also THE PURSE!!!!😍 please keep the strands they're so cute!
wait this is such a fun idea!! I've heard of t shirt yarn but idk this project was so cute it's inspiring me to dig thru my old t shirts and see what I can turn into yarn. had no idea t shirt yarn was that easy to make. also fyi from a person obsessed with making crochet bags, what you can do to make the straps less stretchy is slip stitch along the edges bc that tends to keep it tighter :)
oooh thank u for the tip!
Omg it looks so good
Love you JEN!
I love the idea. 10/10.
I love the bed I think I'm going to try to make me one. you just gave me a good idea.
Team cut it but if you want to leave it it’s totally fine it’s your choice by the way your so talented you made my day so much better
I love it keep the strings
LOST was my moms SHOOOOWWW like she LOVED it.
I LOVE THIS
This is genius, definitely trying it out
You have made a very pretty bag 😍🤩❤
it so cute.
Crocheting is so cool, you have made me want to do it so badly
i def reccomend it gets more fun after you learn the basic stitches and how to make basic things!!
@@rippedoffbandaid thanks!
omg its so cuteeeee
Your nails are so pretty 🤩
I binged watched love is blind too. Btw, awesome idea! ❤
ahh so cute!
Awesome! Thanks for your tutorial!
your one beautiful human
finally someone else who likes lost!!
Omg now I wanna learn how to crochet 😭🦋
I honestly never understood crocheting ad envied people who had the skill! But now, you have inspired me to make my own baggi! Hehe! I'll try my best
It’s so cute! I say keep the strings. They remind me of tassels and would be so fun to play with. 😂
TIE THE THREADS INTO BOWS 🎀🎀 ITS COQUETTE
I will try too after my exams 😊
I think the loose threads are fine, but if you ever have a crochet project with threads you want to get rid of, it is safer to weave them in rather than cutting them right where they come from.
amazing and creative
💖creative idea!)
OMGGG MY FELLOW TETRIS OBSESSOR
Leave the strings it’s so cute! U just earned a sub!
This is genius
Super cute
My friends have been obsessed with lost since forever and I actually watched it all like 2 years ago and they were so right for being obsessed, it's one of the best shows ever
Ugh it’s sooo good! Wish more people knew about it
@@JENerationDIY i knowww what season are you in btw?
I love the show lost ❤I would love to watch it again
Best show ever!!
I’d say weave in the ends, not for the looks but for the quality of the bag. If those strands get cut, wherever you switched colors could start unraveling
Along with adding beads etc you could also tie the ones closest to each other into ribbons
I think you should leave the loose ends there! They are giving a unique flair.
So trendy and beautiful! ❤❤
very very goog 💕💕💕💜
those fire trucks knew it was a fashion emergency for sure. cute bag.
more t shirt yarns content pls it is so interesting and very satisfying to watch so cute
Ilysm Omggggg
its so cute! reminds me of neopolition ice cream
I love it
Just make bows of the uncut yarn and set it on this purse. Solves the purpose.
YESSS!!! DONT CUT!! You should totally try to add charms beads anything to make it to your style!
cute purse 😩 you can totally sell those!
omg YES i relate to what u said sm because im such an introvert by nature so whenever it gets silent (even on non romantic scenarios) i feel so bad about myself as if i should be doing more to make it more interactive lol
13:38 girl, this is so real, I dislike silence with a passion 🥹😭
Me crocheting a bag while watching this:
About to watch lost !!!😂❤
maybe on those hanging out beads 😍😍
A small how would actually be so cute on it
watching this made me want to restart my 3 days of hard work crocheting a bag pack
I actually like it too with the hanging yarn! Looks very cute!!
Great video, now I want to make one too
i actually love the loose threads on the body of the bag but i perhaps would cut the ones on the straps
cut the loose thread babes 😭
Ahahahaa right?? I was thinking how out of touch I was because that looks busted to me but I’m not the only one apparently
😭😭😭😭
You can weave the threads in too but I think it’ll help the bag look even cleaner ✨
they look so good what are you talking about 😭
Jesus said to her,”I am the resurrection and the life.He who believes in Me,though he may die,he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.Do you believe this?”John 11:25-26
It's so cute! I love the loose threads, but if you don't like them, you can just pull them through the stitches to hide. It'll be more secure than cutting them at the knot and risking them coming undone. You should also add a lining to protect it from stretching out. Good job as a new crocheter!! I love seeing more ppl pick it up 😊
What thrift store did u go to??!! It looked like it had great selection:)
one of my teachers at school collects plastic grocery bags and does the same thing, turning the bags into “plarn” and making the bags. then she donates the bags so the homeless can use them!
Hii i know im so late to this video but may i ask what crochet you used? I mean like what is the size if yk what i mean😭 im a beginner too that's why i dont know much
I've never clicked on a video this quickly
i also made one lol last year been using it for a while now
nice!
Add some pins and i think it kinda match the aesthetic of newjeans 🐰 cool and cute!!
You should make a bow out of the rest of the fabric and put it on the front to add more spice✨rlly cute btw
Ooooh love this idea
You can add beads on those threads
Hii, could you do a tutorial of those scarf with ribbons in the end of each one?
Do you not have to worry about fraying or anything?
Love this so much! Could you share the pattern please?
