I deeply appreciated this video - it inspired me to visit and I brought along my camera as well. I can't thank you enough for turning me onto this place! One Love!!
This is awesome!!! A really unique video and yes this is one of your best videos!!! My favorite is your very first video The Pirate Tower in Laguna beach!!!
My favorite young adveurers! Man, Yall have come a long way. Really great video quality, multiple ads, really cool places! Living the dream. Great video and keep up the good work! BTW, Nice shot at 7:09!
Great video and I love the very ending with reference to the discovery of the tomb of the Ark of the Covenant (Drew) and the Holy Grail (Bethany). Love your videos.
Another great adventure, thanks. I'm a geology-nerd, so that helps. Gotten to the point I try to figure out how you do the camera set-ups, etc. Not sure what that makes me. :-) Keep up the good work!
The ending is hysterical! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! This is the most beautiful of your episodes, I think. Love this so much. I wish it were longer, too, as some of the others are commenting. Wonderful job, OO!
(1) Once again, you two found something I had never heard of, wow! That place was stunning! (2) I kept expecting the "C.H.U.D." to pop out at any time. (3) Bethany, you chose.....wisely.
I really enjoy your videos. My wife and I drove to Las Vegas 3 weeks ago from northern California. I would have loved to see the tubes. Thank you so much for your adventures.
Loved your video on the Majave Lave Tube. I haven't been to that one but I spent a day at the Lava Beds National Monument in Northern California. There are hundreds, if not thousands of lava tubes there. It might be a little out of your territory but if you ever are near it, I recommend taking a day to visit it.
Hi Bethany and Drew. I'm a new sub and want to say how much I love your 'show'. You really have produced these videos like mini episodes that I could easily see being shown on network tv...but love that you brought your talents here to YT to share with all. I love watching every adventure you have. You're both so professional, but funny and relaxed and real at the same time. You're informative and you really do your best to show us every nook and cranny in every place you visit. Please don't stop making these vids. Maybe gonna have to start to travel to each state and do a series for each. Anyway, thank you for your hard work and diligent research in finding these amazing places. Enjoy all your adventures and be safe! :)
Hi there. Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, the ultimate goal is to eventually branch out across the country to explore the vast amount of Oddities out there. We're so glad you're here and hope you have a great rest of your week! :)
@@OddityOdysseys You both as well...and if you're ever doing a series in Connecticut (or New York) look up the Leatherman. It's a really cool story about a guy in the 1880's who roamed a circle year round through New York and CT (on foot, and dressed head to toe in a patchwork leather suit). There are several caves in both states where you can see where he stayed. Just sharing...it's one of my favorite stories about Connecticut, well, admittedly because one of those caves exists in the town I live in. :) Anyway, have fun on all your future adventures! Again, really really great job with Oddity Oddyssey's. I've learned so much about the California no one really talks about. Take care!
Got this vid AOK. I explored lava tube in WA State years ago. Could c ripples as moving lava cooled & it actually come to end like ice cream cone. Very neat
That is so cool, there are so many places I missed getting to see while living out there. I'm thankful you both are doing this so I can at least get to watch video of these places. When I was little my father would stop at some of the volcanic areas so I could get out and see them up close but he would never let me go far worrying I would get hurt. Later when I could go anywhere I wanted I would go out into the Mojave desert and drive through areas but never had the opportunity to find information about places like this.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Indy references!! And Beth, I agree that you chose wisely. The 3rd movie is my most favourite with the 4th movie coming in 2nd. The 1st movie is 3rd on my list and the 2nd movie is a distant last!! Loved Drews Staff SFX too!! He is so good at that!!
I’m thinking of heading to this place on Friday. Do you know if it’s illegal to park or use the dirt road? Or do I need a special permit or pass? Thank you
Bethany & Drew I have to say you two are GOLD together in these videos. Seriously. I hope to someday watch your posts weekly or even daily. You two have a good thing going here. Safe Travels from the Heath family. Sub for life👊
I imagine you could get there in just about any car that's in good shape. There aren't any areas that are super steep. It's just very bumpy so take it slow. Good luck! If you make it out there, send us a pic!
I grew up in the mountains the south side of Mount Saint Helens in Washington State. not far down the road from where I lived are some lava tubes called the ape caves. When I was a little kid in the 80's my dad would take me up there and we would go climbing around in them all the time. I remember my dad just driving up an old logging road through the woods telling me to keep an eye out the passenger window for a hole in the ground and once we find it we would climb down a rickety old wood ladder down into the two and a half mile long lava tube. Only the locals that lived in the area really knew about it and where it was. In the 1990s it got popular enough that they actually developed it into a gravel road and put a permanent metal ladder and made a little gravel parking. In the early 2000s it got even popular and now there's a big paved raod and a big paved parking lot and a little ranger station right at the hole of the lava tube. Even though it's been developed into a tourist attraction still recommend this hike to anybody that ever has a chance to go to the ape caves on Mount Saint Helens. Another cool adventure is the Trail of Two forests not far down the road from the lava tubes www.mountsthelens.com/ape-caves.html
I was just up there a few weeks ago. There are several other tubes in the area that arent even marked on a lot of maps. On fact, a group just discovered a new cave up there a year or two ago
Besides this being an awesome place, and many thanks to you two for showing it to us all over the world - I DO have to mention that of course the Temple Of Doom is the best of the IJ movies!
I came across that lava tube once when exploring the Mojave. I didn't have a flashlight and just went in as far as the area where you had to squeeze through.
First-Both are great movies, but Last Crusade is a tad but goofier and more enjoyable. Second- This place looks awesome, and I’m going to head out and explore as soon as I can. Well done O.O!!!!!!!!!
Went to vegas and stopped here on the way back. That Road beat up my poor Sedan. Absolutely worth it though. Tips for anyone that goes and can't see the light "visibly" is to kick up some dust from the dirt underneath.
Very interesting video; I wanted to point out the opening is called a window typically you would be on the outside looking at molten lava but as time would have it now that has reversed.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! FINALLY!! you guys dont grace my eyeballs enough. We need more adventures guys!!. AND any Indiana Jones movie is a good movie..:D
In Idaho there is a "Ice Cave" same thing but the way the air vents the water on the floor freezes and you can ice skate in the tunnel! They had the coldest beet in town in the 1850's
Hi! I have a quick question, would I need an SUV or a 4 wheel drive car to handle the dirt road portion? Or would my 2017 Honda civic be able to handle the dirt road? Thanks in advance :) !
Yep Definitely awesome, wish this had been longer. Loved the ending
Wow, never knew.
This was awesome.

Such amazing words. Thank you! Hope you'll stick around for future episode episodes. :)
“Excellent Adventure“ Thank You for sharing 😎
Great job guys. Love what you are doing!
Great video - I liked the shot you did of you entering into the caves for the "first time" - worked really well!
Thank you so much!
Awesome Episode--and the Indiana Jones Conversation at the top of the video was GREAT!!
Omg your ending was absolutely spectacular!!! Love it!
Great stuff. Respect. Keep going.
Great video and I love the very ending with reference to the discovery of the tomb of the Ark of the Covenant (Drew) and the Holy Grail (Bethany). Love your videos.

(1) Once again, you two found something I had never heard of, wow! That place was stunning!
(2) I kept expecting the "C.H.U.D." to pop out at any time.
(3) Bethany, you chose.....wisely.

You guys rock! Thanks
Thank YOU! Hope you're having a great weekend. :)
I really enjoy your videos. My wife and I drove to Las Vegas 3 weeks ago from northern California. I would have loved to see the tubes. Thank you so much for your adventures.
Thanks guys! I was actually headed to see it tomorrow and watching you find it has made the directions better lol
That's awesome! Have a great time and stay safe. :)
Awesome 😎. I live near.....lava tubes run from the deep creek hot springs out to Newberry springs along the Mojave River...
I'm glad I found you guys. Will look forward to taking our grandkids on your adventures. Great video. Thanks
We're glad you're here! Hope you have a great time exploring places with your grandkids.
Very nice video. Thank you guys.
Awesome vid! Yall come up to Oregon, we've got hundreds of lava tubes, including one on Mt St Helens that has a waterfall & lake at the end of it.
Awesome! We'd love to make it out to Oregon one of these days.
Ya I don't think I will ever get to see it in person, so yes very happy you make these videos. Look's so much warmer there for sure!! 🌋

Very cool exploration. And I believe this is one of the only finds that isn't overwrought with graffiti! Excellent production again. You all ROCK!

Hey Bryan, we hope you have a great time! When we visited in 2018, there was no permit or pass needed to use the road/park.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like something i would like to check out. Got add it to my list of places to check out
Amazing how Mother Earth provides us with little gems like this
Bethany & Drew I have to say you two are GOLD together in these videos. Seriously. I hope to someday watch your posts weekly or even daily. You two have a good thing going here. Safe Travels from the Heath family. Sub for life👊
Thank you, Tom! We'd love to get to a place where we can produce videos more often. Sending best wishes to the Heath family.
I've been wanting to go but don't have a truck BUT saw you took a car.... hmmmmmm I'm might just go. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 cant wait

There was a movie filmed in the caves too, a few years back now.
Another fantastic video!
Thanks, Chris!
HA! The end of the video references to the Indiana Jones movies made me laugh right out loud. I love both of your senses of humor! Great job!
That Indiana Jones and the Arc of the Lost Covenant really came into play at 06:18 You guys got spunk ! Till next time guys Happy Exploring !!
All that obsidian just staring back at you from the ground all around that area!!!
Besides this being an awesome place, and many thanks to you two for showing it to us all over the world - I DO have to mention that of course the Temple Of Doom is the best of the IJ movies!

This is cool, I love about 30 min away
Ur channel is the holy grail of youtubin’
If you ever get the chance, go check out The Lava River Caves in Flagstaff. Like 1 plus miles of adventuring!
Very well explained superb ! We have to hike up? Can’t we drive it here ????
Nice job Thank you
Went to vegas and stopped here on the way back.
I teach video production in Colorado, and I share a lot of your videos with my students as good examples of how to make interesting content.
Hi Zachary. That's really cool and a great complement! We'll do our best to keep it interesting. Tell your class we said hello!
Cool, I had no idea it was there. I drive in this area from time to time.
I'll call this one Romancing the Stone Tube, nice job on the graphic. ( keep rockin :-)
Omg, we JUST watched that film two days ago. Your instincts are on point! And, thank you. :)
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! FINALLY!! you guys dont grace my eyeballs enough. We need more adventures guys!!. AND any Indiana Jones movie is a good movie..:D
Silver City New Mexico you have lava tubes behind the the courthouse really cool
Kool lava tube a secret place in the desert 🌵
In Idaho there is a "Ice Cave" same thing but the way the air vents the water on the floor freezes and you can ice skate in the tunnel!
They had the coldest beet in town in the 1850's
That sounds amazing!
I was expecting a smooth tunnel, not jagged. cool video.
It's cool how u left the camera there at 4:54. Btw u have mics on? Audio is great
..Lassen Volcanic park in NorCal..a fun place and is developed so you can hike in the caves..
Been there
Awesome 😎 you Guys
Was enjoying the random bants, should've known it was foreshadowing.
It was nice of the tube trolls to setup a camera for the shot of you walking down the ladder for the first time. Haha.
Ya'll should do Buckhorn, Cooper Canyon, and Crystal Lake to Mount Islip and Cooper Springs for Sasquatch sightings.
Glad they didn't "Tag it" yet. thumbs up.
Cool, now I don't have to leave So.Cal. to see lava tubes.
OH MAN YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!
SNAKES!!!!!! Hope you’re prepared!!!!!!!
Did you lower the air pressure in the tires? It would've made for a much smoother ride.
It looks very different from the lava tube we explored near flagstaff. Ours was very dark and the floor was very rough most of the way.
Hi! I have a quick question, would I need an SUV or a 4 wheel drive car to handle the dirt road portion? Or would my 2017 Honda civic be able to handle the dirt road? Thanks in advance :) !
