Worst part of caving for me would be knowing everything you get past needs to be done again to get out. The further in you go the harder it is to get out. Every awful squeeze needs to be done twice over. Just knowing that while going into a tight spot would freak me out.

This cave is SKETCH!!! I Caved 3 times, by my 3rd time, I had, had enough. Almost died from a rock falling above me, almost hit me. Would have crushed me. I'll never go in a cave again. I'm glad I can live out my curiosity vicariously through these videos haha. My anxiety is way to wild when it comes to caves despite my desire to explore them.

They just used judgement as all cavers do; doesn't mean ALL caves are as 'sketchy' as this or that caving is 'stupid'- Unexpected death is *everywhere;* car 'accidents', murder, collapsing buildings - 2 of my friends, both mid 40s & neither underweight, died VERY unexpectedly of heart attacks in their own homes. Easy to demonise caves as they grab headlines & people fear them, but cavers following guidelines & common sense are as safe as anyone else going about the world!

I would say it's worth it if they were looking for something specific that would help geologists and science. This is just thrill seeking. As much as they think if it happens to them, it happens. It will be a nightmare for them if it does before they pass on. Hope it comes quick if it gets to that and I do not wish it on them. People who have a wife amd kids should not do this. Forget that, "die doing what you love" bullshit. You have family, be around to grow old with and for your family. People need to stop chasing shit that doesn't exist. Never gonna find that first high again.

It is so clear that cave's ceiling is just rocks held together by mud - mud that keep washing away, leaving clean rocks. I can't imagine wanting to climb up through it, wondering if every sound reverberation is the trigger for something else to fall. The top of that dome looked so unstable. Glad nothing worse happened.
It's amazing what water can do. I wonder how long that cave's been forming.

Those boulders would squash you like a bug! As a french native born and raised in Paris i loved to explore a totally different kind of caves the catacombes underneath the city Paris is a giant swiss cheese man men carved caves but in the mid 80's there was no maps available the catacombs some of them carved as far as 1680 was a fantastic playground for me 14 degres celsius all year around i used to spend till 72 hours down there looking exploring always with respect because there are millions of human remains in there
I waa looking for a specific place it was a urban legend at that time (at least for me) the place were a human body was discoverd dating back the french revolution in 1789 it seems this man wanted to escape the terror at that time and tried to escape Paris through the catacombs i found the place there was a marble plate on the wall telling his story the poor man ran out of light food and water imagine yourself lost in pitch black dark place and i guess at that time thinking about monsters and religious stories. Hallucinating... this place is now well documented anyway that day it happened that i had the same kind of experience i ran out of batteries no light what so ever i sat down thinking i was going to die like this man when the adrenalin kicked in and i thought NO i cant stay there die like a victim i decided to try and thanks god after 3.4.maybe 5 hours i dont know i finally other catacombs lovers they helped me to reach the exit i continues to explore for few years then i grew up and didnt want to risk my life anymore after i met my wife and had kids

@@wweminehead5458 there is in a tunnel on a old railway named "la petite ceinture" there are no more trains using this tunnel. The entrance look like a hole in the wall. Maybe 60 centimeters high, 1 meter large so you have to crawl a bit but once you manage to go in, you are officially in the catacombs the problem is you MUST go with a person you trust 200%. Do NOT go in with people you dont know. Sometimes there are guys who will tell you that they know the place they will invite you to go with them and once in they will guide you for a little while and they will disappear and leave you underground alone. They dont do that to kill you or kidnap you no. They do this kind of thing because they just think it is funny, for them it is a good prank...
Another thing this entrance is "famous". Homeless people live in the tunnel and there are all kind of funny business in there so...
The 2nd entrance is in a way "safer" except it is in the middle of a street on a sidewalk. You have to open a very heavy sewage trapdoor i let you imagine the lack of discretion... its in the 14th district in front if a church (i dont remember the name) but there are a lot of sewage access on the sidewalks and if you dont know exactly which one is the one... even if i give you lots of details not sure you find it
Anyway i am pretty sure that the 1st entrance is the easiest one to find
