  • This is my review of the 2022 Beta X-Trainer 300 Motorcycle. This is a 292cc (300cc) 2-Stroke with a weight of 216lbs, seat height of only 35.8 inches, and a crazy low price of $8,000. I will likely buy one of these in the future. I love this dirtbike!

    Thank you for giving this an actual review of real world riding, not a snotty review of keyboard warriors repeating what they've heard and rich guys who race MX or XC. Its the modern KDX! Its the perfect single track bike for guys who just want to ride, not race. Plush suspension and smooth torque allow you to focus on riding and technique, not fighting the bike. I rode a friend of mine's on rocky, root single track and was seriously impressed. I just swapped back to dual sport for awhile, but If i ever want to single track only again Im buying a new one immediately.

    So many things lol This is my exact bike I decided to start with. Electronics you say are more reliable lol Mine had a bad wire harness from the factory so after waiting 8 months to get my bike it started about 6 times then nothing. Johnny got it straightened out in a week kudos to him but wow. Suspension; well I almost sold the bike I hated it so much but thankfully I talked myself into having AMP put a Lucky cartridge and re valve in. Now it's a totally different machine and I love it. Fuel economy; the most I've got out of a tank was 52mi. One of the reasons I bought the bike was the oil injection but after seeing so many guys have problems with it I deleted it immediately and haven't looked back. Plastics break off if you look at them wrong and don't strap down with the pegs they will bend like a banana hahaha ask me how I know. Man I could go on with the love hate relationship but you get the idea. I'm gonna keep it and ride it but will probably go for and RR next year.

    • @RacerRed
      @RacerRed  Рік тому +2

      I’m assuming you thought the suspension was too soft - which I agree with for desert stuff but I didn’t think it was so soft I couldn’t adjust it to feel better. It felt great to me. This bike honestly felt like cheating when taken on hard trails.
      I took that electronics a bit straight from data. They said they revised the wiring locations, redid the connectors, and made it more reliable. That’s pretty crappy that you had issues with your wiring so fast! I’m glad you have a good dealer support in Emmett though! Johnny is the man.
      With plastic durability I just think you need to quit cartwheeling lol.

    We ride hard enduro and woods with lots of rocks and big hits.
    The xTrainer is my sons bike. He is still learning a lot and it is ok for him.
    I am 59 yo and about 170# with gear on. I can and do bottom out the suspension every time I ride the xTrainer. Just jumping on the pegs hard compresses it a lot. (with no rebound adjustment lol)
    I do like the bike overall and the suspension is the only weakness. It is not a big deal especially if you are a true novice, weigh more and/or are one of the people who will spend another $2K on suspension upgrades just because. (heavier people will have to do some spring work. (It rides like a loaf of white bread compared to my Sherco)
