Concerning isolation, it's better to have no relationship or no social contact than it is to have a bad relationship and contact with unsafe and harmful people.

Agree, and I'd also like to add that not everybody handles isolation the same.

Dr. Axe, you are bringing us the most amazing education for our health & quality of life. This was the most fascinating podcast on health & longevity I think I’ve ever listened to. Such a wealth of info. I have many questions for my naturopath. Thank you for bringing us such high quality content.

@@darwinhughey3861 I use 5mg of melatonin and a drop of 8:1 CBD drops every half hour from 8:30pm and by 10:30pm I'm totally out. If I wake up to pee a few times I pray to a higher power to "please clear my mind and help me sleep", over and over, and gradually I fall asleep again.

Dr. Axe thank you for not talking too fast. I appreciate how calm your voice is. I've watched you for years and you used to talk as fast as this guy and thankfully you slowed it down. Because if it's too fast we have to watch it again. This guy is great but omg does he drink coffee lol Great video. Your microphone also is much better than the one he is using.

I lived in a toxic mold house for 15 years and ended up with systemic mold! I had cancer from the mold. Still no one treated the mold. My toenails kept falling off from mold and I had fungus lesions on my skin. I ended up taking a wonderful antifungal (prescription) voriconazole, (Iʻm not suggesting you take it) when complete, went straight to 28mg to 30 mg of biotin every day. Biotin can stop the mold from progressing (it is a large dose so it must be compensated). I cannot stop the biotin but I adjusted my nutrient intake for my methylation defects! This is the key to true health! But I am a licensed physician and I had to study the heck out of this!

Love this discussion! How do I find a qualified functional medicine provider who understands this approach to health and can order appropriate labs for the data required to make appropriate adjustments, be it supplements or lifestyle changes? I'm fortunate to live in Minnesota, where excellent healthcare is touted...but I have yet to find a provider who grasps these concepts!

Do you have any advice for getting blood pressure under control? I meditate, do breathing exercises, and Qi Gong. But every time I have to visit my PCP, my readings are way above normal. They tried a couple of drugs on me, (Losartan and HCTZ), but I didn't like the signals my body was sending. So, I refused to take them anymore.

Do you eat any food covered in plastic or drink any beverages bottled in plastic? I ask this because there is a study that has findings suggesting that the presence of micro plastics especially in bottled beverages like bottled water can make people who consume them have higher than normal blood pressure.
