When you double braid your hair, it seems like you run out of hair shortly after you reach the nape of your neck. I still have a lot of hair left at that point. As i try to incorporate the remaining hair into the braid, it forms a weird bubble of loose strands because I can’t physically reach far back enough to keep even tension. I have watched many braiding tutorials and no one seems to mention what to do. I know I can just take bigger sections, but I don’t think it would help much unless they were huge. It’s also not the look I’m going for.
can you do a tutorial on how to weave a ribbon into a fishtail braid both from the top of the head and from starting with a ponytail. i tried to look it up but i really didn't get any good results. i have a 17-month-old daughter and I'm trying to learn different braids and hairstyles to style her hair. i have a practice head and tools needed. just need a good tutorial to show me how and you're great with all these different braids and showing how To's. i hope you can see this. definitely future video ideas.

I tend to braid my middle strand OVER the two other strands. You seem to go UNDER. Does that make a difference?
I don’t know exactly but I think that if you go under like her it brings the hair out but if you do over like you are doing it makes the braid go in more.
Like she had more of an 3d but if you go the your way witch I also do it does more of an flat braid but this is my thought and not entirely shore
When you go over, its a french braid which are flatter and less defined. When you go under it is a dutch braid and it looks like a defined braid all the way down
I look like blackbeard and sometimes Jack sparrow but never beautiful braids,it's long enough now so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
