- Hey! In this video, I revisit an old concept of mine, where I take a look at 10 upcoming levels I am excited for in GD. I did a video like this about 6 months ago now, and I thought it could be cool to make a video like it, but just do new levels now that so many have been introduced to the game. I didn’t limit myself to extreme demons like I did in the last video, even though the majority of the levels on this list are extreme anyway. With all that said, I hope you enjoy the video!

just wanted to address the lack of inclusion of levels like galaxy collapse, swi and other levels like that; many of them were included in my previous video (top 10 upcoming extremes i’m hyped for) so yeah i didn’t include them here to avoid repeats. other than that, i just wanna say that there are plenty of levels that i didn’t include that are still amazing! this list wasn’t exclusive, i just picked some of my favorites :)

@norkbork Have you seen vengeance yet? It’s inspired by Devotion by Nikro at it looks stunning.
Have you seen omorfia? It's a layout so far but it looks amazing as a layout itself, the gameplay is also very unique.

I like how it flows and the faster the music gets going the speedier it gets, I think cold sweat is a level that is created perfectly imo

I hope that when/if Misanthrope is verified, the title of the video is/contains "Misanthrope by Everyone".
Misanthrope by the Demon Grinders, Star Grinders, List Grinders, Challenge Players, Content Creators, Effect Creators, Artists, Storyline Creators, the ones who has Nine Circles as their hardest, the Endscreen Designers, the Gameplay Creators, the Hackers, and the top players.
Here's some levels I'd like to add:
- Disentombed by YakobNugget and more - when verified this will be one of the strongest mc's out there, with 4 minutes of perfectly executed and heavily themed parts
- Light by DavJT - simple but absolitely gorgeous upcoming level by the god himself, taking a simple theme and concept and using it to its fullest extent
- Reborn by DavJT and Xender Game - there's barely any deco of this done, but a Reanimation remake by two creators who are one of if not the strongest in the game's history is bound to be a masterpiece
- Omorfia by hHyper - the best effect layout ever probably, using movement and animation, paired with unique gameplay, to create one of the best creations in gd history just as a layout
- Beast Mayhem by hHyper - the final level in hHyper's mayhem series, and the sequel to The Mayhem War, the little we've seen of this level looks cinematic unlike anything ever seen in the game
- Dark Oddyssey by JonathanGD - while I personally am not the greatest fan of Jonathan, I can't argue against this level being one of the best ever. Dark Travel is to this day a masterpiece, but it aged somewhat poorly and this is the remake it trully deserved
I could probably add some more but these are the first ones I thought of and also (along with some levels you mentioned) what I believe will be some of the best levels ever
I would like to add Shiryou, an 8 minute super Extreme Demon that's supposed to be near impossible hehe.

Halberd - Notlsa + Th31
Kirby has always been one of my special interests, so when I saw the preview of this level I was amazed. I always wanted to see a Kirby themed level in geometry dash, but most of them are mediocre. This one looks like an older Kirby game, which makes sense as it is themed after Meta Knight’s Halberd. It has a Th31 layout, and that just tops it for me. I just absolutely adore this level, and I’m very excited to see it released.

Wasn't there a super high quality Kirby level made a few years ago? I'm not sure the name but I remember some really good Kirby art that i saw years ago in a level
Jisaku Was it Kirbys Adventure by Jovc? I swear the whispy bossfight was far ahead of its time in that one

I’ll be hype for the next video, have a nice trip yo. Also, thanks for mentioning misanthrope, I honestly believe it could be one of the most important levels the community has seen. A level im hype for that i don’t believe you have mentioned yet is the official death corridor remake by kugelblitz and many more including the original creator, kaotik. The main reason being I really like the song and I greatly appreciate it being used in an actual level of high quality.

Great video! I really liked the depth of the explanations behind every level it was a very nice touch! I’m also hyped for slaughterhouse and cold sweat but another level that you could have added was swi it got a revamp and is being verified rn. But my opinions aside truly great commentary and great detail it makes the video that much better.
UA-camrs always apologize when their videos get long, but tbh I much prefer ~30 minute, very in-depth videos about a topic rather than 10 minute ones, providing the script is good :)

Thank you so much for putting CraZy III first. It is the best of Dav's works already and I am so hyped for it. However, I have not seen much progress from it lately which is a little disappointing. I hope it will be released soon!

Scavenger by Gaiden Hertuny: its a level which has the theme of every other videogame BESIDES gd and the amount of references and nods in every part is mind blowing, gaiden has always been part of fantastically themed levels (Glitched Memories, Subtle Silence, Ocular Miracle) and he even has more coming out the pipeline such as Shibuya, based on japanese city culture
Wicker by Shyv (formally Doopliss): this level cuts the shit plain and simple, and i love it for that, it dosent rely on flashy colors or eye catching effects or weird quirky flowy gameplay thats satisfy to look at, no. wicker is tapwreck but amplified and it was even made before tapwreck so go figure, it dosent need anything to identify itself with, wicker is plain and simple a no bullshit tough as nails slow wave level and i love it for that, theres no "gimmicks" or "specialities" its just you, the music, and the extremely tight wave corridors and you either gotta suck it up and deal with it or be a quitter. i love it.
God of Despair by APT : i know its a sorta unpopular opinion but i really dont like any of apt's levels, except one. there only unique level as it happens, G of D is a level with a cool ass song, a purple theme which is sorta rare but slowly becoming more common, and i think it pulls it off super well, theres only a few decorated parts public but holy SHIT are they a beauty to the eye, its just all around a really nice level which im excited to see come out if all goes to plan
Deviation by Sohn0924 : the concept of an old legend returning with there weird and bizarre gameplay style still in tact trying to make somethin with all the new bells and whistles that have been added since there golden days in itself is a brilliant concept, not to mention the final result is unlike anything ive ever seen, and the fact its being finished and decorated is amazing to me, being so unconventional but still managing to work regardless, overall great level.

Galaxy Collapse is high on my list for most hyped. Gameplay is fun from what Trusta has said, great song from Kurokotei who is not well known in the GD community, having only 1 song in an extreme demon besides GC. (Scattered Faith)

I'm a little bit sad that Galaxy Collapse isn't on the list. Reason being, I think that the gameplay being so insanely fast-paced and hard makes the gameplay more original, and the 12 cps at the end of the level makes this really an insane level. And the song. Oh, the SONG. The song is absolutely incredible and crazy at the same time, and Trusta fit the level to this song so well. Anyway, those are some reason why I think Galaxy Collapse should have been on the list, or at least an honorable mention.

At Crazy III You forgot to mention the little flashbacks to crazy I and II, for example the lighthouse in the picture (was used in the crazy II slow cube part)
Shinigami reminds me heavily of Leyak. Levels like that is what I want to see more of.

I just made a video with the same idea except it’s all megacollabs. Although I do not agree with your interests in terms of levels, this is a very well though out video and is very professional video. I do see on why you like the levels you like though. I’m a person who likes levels with fun, well synced gameplay, with a high quality and consistent deco theme. So levels like misanthrope are not my kind of level. I’m not gonna list my opinion on what I like cuz I made a video on it already so for anybody who wants to see it can see it as a surprise. Good video though

I completely forgot that timore existed. Everyone is super hyped for levels like SWI, APT, Orochi and whatnot, but tomorrow would fit very well as a #1, and even if it doesn’t end up being #1 who cares, it’s dope and would fit excellently in the top 10.

I think you should check out "Reverence" by Woomy, I think this level is amazing, it looks awesome and has very satisfying-to-watch gameplay

I agree with the points you made about Misanthrope, but these points are also why I dislike the level so much. Misanthrope is an idea, not a level. It markets itself as the greatest megacollab of its time, but I think in its rush to be great it sacrifices almost all of its quality in favor of spectacle, similar to Woodkid. I personally don't want this level to be finished, not just because of what it would mean for the demonlist, but just because I think a project this ambitious can never work. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I think it should just stay as a layout.
For me I'm definitely excited for Sedulous and Goose's new level
Reverence by Woomy and more is also very good.
