Great vid! My only recommendation is to remove the fill bolt first. The fill bolt is generally the more difficult of the two to remove. Removing it before you drain the fluid ensures that you'll be able to put fluid back in. If you can't get the fill bolt off, you can still take it to someone who can.

No, it’s in the transmission.

Yes, it’s wet base brake system. Use the proper Yamaha recommended oil.
Any idea how to drain earlier models? I've got a 2003 with the dana/splicer rear end.
