It took me two years to let go of my pre-pregnancy clothes. Tried to fit back into my favourite skirts and dresses but no amount of exercise would help my hips. You look fantastic and I'm glad you're more realistic than I was with my post preggo body.
It's definitely a hard adjustment to go through mentally- I get it! Especially when some people just "bounce back". I mean we just made a human from scratch and grew it for 9 months which is pretty cool in itself but I figured bone structure may not go back even if you're back to "prepregnancy weight". I tried to fit back into my prepregnancy stuff sooner and was humbled by that 🙃 thank you though
Don't get rid of everything! I went back down to my pre-pregnancy size two years after having my first. With my second, I kept all of my PP and pre-pregnancy clothes and put them in bins. The PP clothes I am slowly getting rid of as I go back down, the pre-pregnancy clothes I am slowly getting back out as I start to fit in them.
Hmm I mean I kept a fair bit of maybes for that reason. I did rid of a lot of colors I don't love anymore. It's so hard to know though whether you will or not since everyone is different! Also will be dependent on if I have consecutive kids too. I feel like I might be holding on to those clothes for a long time then haha
Hi Gabi, I would hold on to some of those tanks because once you stop nursing 🤱🏻 things will definitely smaller. I think once you stop nursing you will definitely know if those tanks won’t fit. We have similar body type and when I stopped nursing things shrunk and I was sooo happy I did declutter too many favorites.
Hey thanks for the advice! I think most of the colors I am ready to part with regardless but I did hang on to a few so we'll see if they do fit once I stop nursing. ☺️ I do lowkey hate seeing them sit there in the closet though 😅
Love this video! I also recently did a clear out my sports bras, since working hard to do a chin up and a pull up, I’ve been noticing that some of my racerback bras dig in too much on my traps and lats. I’m not too mad about it, as It’s somehow the result of reaching goals, but I think now I’m embracing more my ever changing body some days they do fit better, depending on the time of the month as well. I kept a couple for those days when my body is not too swollen. PS: Your hair looks much nicer now in a shorter length!
Congrats! Sounds like you're making great progress towards your goals. Totally get that! I'm keeping my bigger sizes for that reason too. Also thank you!
Your band size will most definitely fluctuate after breastfeeding, especially if you exercise, but I will say after my 20’s I never went back to a 0/00 😅it’s kind of a great thing for us tiny girls ❤ (who always wanted a more shapely figure).
Yeah I figured! especially if you have more kids too 😅 so at this point I'm just gonna have to downsize to some more core items. Haha that's kinda what I was thinking too! I can maybe finally fit into some regular women's clothing and sizes

@@gabilemoine yea I hate seeing stuff sit in my closet too without being used. I totally get it 💚
love this! I had to do the same after having my babies. It was bittersweet.
It really is!
