Right?! My husband and I just went over to England a few months ago and went to a little seaside Village called Rye. England is so historic and it’s so old and it’s like precious 🥰
I love the Father Brown series! How lovely to see the village where it is set. Missed seeing Widget and Gizmo. Give the 2 doggies a pat on the head and a treat from me. The church was astounding and I wish I could see it in person. I've been ill lately and missed some of your videos. I will go back and watch them sometime soon. Have a lovely Sunday. 😇
If I lived in England, I would get in a car every single weekend and I would go all the way up to the northern border for one weekend and then I’d go to The western border and then I go to the Eastern border. I would go all over every single weekend until I had seen literally everything. I had to drive three hours to get to mall and go shopping 🤣
There is a video on another platform of Steve W playing the organ in this church from 2018 called Season's Greetings which is lovely, regrettably I cannot find it herein. Thanks for reminding me
My gg James Whatcott was born 1869 in Saint Bury. Died Lytham St Annes 1936. 2gg George Whatcott b1841 Weston Sub Edge d 1885 Shipston On Stour. 3gg Richard Whatcott b 1814 Bourton On The Hill d 1896 Shipston On Stour. Apparently the Surname comes from the village of Whatcote!
Quite charming. Thank you for all that you do for the community and for making our Sunday morning brighter.
This was an interesting medieval village. There is nothing medieval here in Michigan so it is a treat to see these ancient places. 😀

Great video, you have an excellent voice for narrating!
I used to live there in one of the old mills. I realise how blessed I was watching this.

It's so unfair that I don't live in the Cotswolds
