Of course you can make offers. Everyone I know makes offers. Have fun, my friend. ❤
100% make an offer! Its a flea market for Heaven’s sake. The sellers themselves sometimes give you an offer unprompted.
I love these flea market videos thanks for posting this
At every flea market I have ever been to, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Canada,... there was haggling, it's standard flea market behaviour. When it's dirt cheap I just pay what they ask, otherwise I always haggle a bit. I am a recent subscriber and just want to say I really enjoy your video's. There is so much cool stuff to see and the prices are amazing most of the time. I hope to visit Brimfield or some other American flea market some day 😊. Keep up the good work👍 greetings from Germany
I love your videos. Specially, the flea market and I feel negotiating is just part of the experience. I do a lot of negotiating when I’m out of flea market I think it’s OK. Thanks again for your videos.
Thanks!
Definitely make an offer.
Don't listen to those comments. There is nothing wrong with talking people down at the flea market because they make their prices a little higher. They expect you to talk them down.
Greetings from Iran. I'm a flea market seller, handmade sea accessories. About making an offer, it's between only between seller and buyer, if they both agree on an offered price, it's a sweet deal.
Nice video, I saw some cool toys!
Cheers from Manchester CT!
Hey!
Have you been to the College Mart Flea Market in Jewitt City?
Every Sunday at 9AM. Vendors inside and outside.
Also meant to say, inside I saw one vendor with an entire uranium glass display. Wish I had looked at the prices for you.
I set up there in the winter outside a few years back and did really well! Never did good there setting up inside because customers like the outside much better.
Totally expected to negotiate prices at flea market. And to bundle items. You can offer what you want, and they can accept or tell you to take a hike. The beauty of the free market lol
another good vid!
I am with you, you should make an offer, I mean it's a flea market not a retail store.
Great vid! Also, haggling is expected at flea markets. Don't listen to the peanut gallery. 😂
I love negotiating. I'll be at Brimfield starting tomorrow Wednesday. New England Motel lot 27. Stop by and say hello
There isnt really a market for Atari games anymore. 10 yrs ago you could sell those quickly but you’d be stuck with those until the end of your life if you bought them. Your offer was about right and even then good luck finding buyers, haha. There’s definitely nothing wrong with haggling with vendors. I try to avoid it when the vendor appears to be quite desperate and poor, some people do this to barely get by so in that case, I would just pay what they are asking
Always make an offer, especially if you have cash!
Awesome video! I can't believe that guy was selling dead animals, he's giving Dahmer vibes 😅
Making an offer is normal, but it is sometimes funny when you haggle on something that is already very reasonably priced and save a dollar. Or when you walk away over a dollar or two. I get that it's probably part of the enjoyment and I enjoy the videos so do whatever you want.
Make an offer. Happy Hunting
I sure will. Thanks!
The person that said pay the asking price must be a vender.
I was a little sad you didn't buy that United Airlines 747, but anyway i do really love your content.
Sometimes I come down on price, sometimes I don't. A good attitude helps
I agree. I always try to have a good attitude. I'm not the type to give the vendor a hard time.
ALWAYS MAKE OFFERS. THEY CAN ALWAYS SAY NO.
You handled the video game offer just fine. When they ask me to price their merch, I always hit them low.
Also I know it's not your cup of tea, but would you please show more of jewelry / handmade accessories? Or make a video showing those things.
I'm actually interested to know about things like how can someone join any of these flea markets.
That must have been a seller who said it's not cool to make offers at flea markets!🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
That's my guess. If not, they don't know how flea markets work.
The flea market is one of the few aspects of American society where haggling over price is not only acceptable, but expected.
My guess is these people don't have a lot of flea market experience, and that's where the comments are coming from.
The person that said you shouldn't make offers at flea markets must be a vendor LOL. I always make offers. If the vendor gets upset I tell him his price is fair but more than I want to pay today.
JetFire from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was a SR-71 Blackbird.
I make offers all the time, it is expected.
14:50 that blue thing I would pay at least 50 dollars for it.
I could see $50. $100 is a bit steep though.
So what are the other 2 flea markets that made your top 3 in CT?
I would say top three are Elephant's Trunk, Mansfield Drive-In and probably the Woodbury Flea Market (third place is a tough one).
I'd assume that you meant the movie "D.A.R.Y.L." where the kid stole the plane?
Oh shoot! You're right! Was it the same kid actor?
Vendors mark up prices because they expect haggling. It's a bonus if they get what they ask.
If you don't haggle, you pay too much for your purchases.
Make the offer. A seller at a flea market shouldn't be thinking emotionally. For me the only rule is keep it respectful and don't waste time arguing if you can't make the deal.
Maybe they meant dont lowball or I've seen my share of videos where they still make an offer when its already a steal
it Seem's like no matter which flea market you go you Alway's bump into comic books. the only thing i get a kick out of some of them venders who is selling them comic books ask way too much for them & they know that there not worth much. same with video games.
I used to find good deals on comic like 5+ years ago, but now all the good ones have been picked or they are charging way too much.
whats the deal on selling at one of these? I can just load up my car and go there with a table, or do you need a permit or pay for parking space or?
Just load up your car and get there 45 min to an hr early to get a good spot. You don’t want to be facing into the sun all day. Bring tables if you got them. If not they’ll rent you there wooden tables. It’s your responsibility to report income. No one really charges tax. Bring plenty of small bills to make change and be ready to wheel and deal. Mark your prices too
Cheap dig deep don't be afraid to spend a dollar
I took like watching the vids.... But hate watching something that's 4 or 5 months old when looking at current ones on reselling things.
Well, there are basically no flea markets in my area between December and April, so if I didn't post videos from flea markets a few months old during the winter, I wouldn't be posting any flea market videos over the winter.
It is expected to make offers at flea markets, garage/yard sales, etc. Those people don't know what they are talking about.
I am with you give me a price or already have a price marked on the items.
Here some advice on them telling you to make a offer simply tell them you can’t buy and sell it for them
Its impolite to offer an artist less than their asking price for their work. They know what went into it, and arrived at the price based on the skill and time it took them. Otherwise, everything is negotiable!
lol always thinking o have something .. when you have shit.... P
You're expected to talk people down that's why it's a flea market all prices at flea markets are negotiable
You uploaded early haha
Great video as always but I agree with the person that said you shouldn't make an offer. You should pay them the price they're asking for it. I never liked people that try to chew me down. I would always give them a break on the more they buy deal. I think it's rather rude to ask for a better deal
Don’t try to make deals at the flea market has got to be one me of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. The idea and premise behind a flea market IS TO MAKE A DEAL
FIRST!!!!
Pon subtítulos
If you (not you Tom) only pay sticker price at a flea market or yard sale, I'm sorry you are a chump lol
"Don't make offers on the prices?" That is hobo talk. You just treat that place like the Arabian dirt bazaar that it is and you haggle everything right down to the last nickel, Sir...
Bro that’s dumb always make offers
