Very cool to see the keyboard collection, love to see Jam play, rarely do you get to see Jam and Lewis actually play. I think thats part of their mystique and legend. I easily see why these guys are so successful, sure they are uber talented muscians and songwriters, but the music is truly who they are. The are humble enough and accepting of art, they are also interested in learning and remain aware of whats avalable and whats possible. Cutting edge. Jam is smiling the entire time he was going through all of this and that inner joy is the real source of the magic, his gift. You can feel it.

"Terry loves Las Vegas." I can attest to that. In about 1997 or 1998 I was living in Vegas. I am a die hard Time fan, but was only like 14-15 when they were touring with Prince before they broke up. Always wanted to see them in concert, but was too young then. I saw the Time was playing at one of the Station Casinos. I decided to go. It was Morris and original Time members Jellybean, Monte, and Jerome. Terry was sitting in with the band. Great show for me as it was the first time ever seeing them. I hung out after the show. Heard a commotion at the craps table. Low and behold, Terry Lewis, Morris and Jerome playing craps. I stepped up to the table and played too. All the guys were very nice. Now how many people can say they played craps in Vegas with Terry Lewis, Morris Day, and Jerome Benton.

Hearing him pronounce Moog properly (long "o", not "ooh") actually speaks to the depth of his relationships with the manufacturers. The man is a genius and he's from a time (no pun intended) when you had to be able to play. You had to perform the songs...beginning to end...without the safety net of editing. Short of the occasional punch in/out, it's a lot of complete takes in those days. You might comp, but you recorded whole takes. This man deserves the career he's had. Big fan.

Because of tuning in to this video music museum James Harris III Aka Jimmy Jam u have influenced me so much that I've become music producer singer songwriter material I was born, fit, and built for this field. Along with ur partner Terry Lewis I'm so grateful to God to have enabled me and afforded me to live and witness legends like Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and L.A. AND Babyface and others on their musical journey and sharing their experiences ups and downs in the music industry their wisdom and Elmo if I have the man's name correct. It was a blessing to listen attentively that everything Jimmy Jam shared about the songwriting had a story behind it every instrument what he shared about his keyboards, pianos and how they were refurbished and redone and how manufacturers/designers worked so diligently with him. What a very inspiring video. Congratulations on u both being in the Hall of fame I can't remember what category it was pertaining to the Hall of fame but u Brothers had a positive impact on everyone of us across the country and around the world 🌎. I would love to meet you one day soon because you truly inspire me, encourage me and are like mentors to me. Love that his first synthesizer has a Heatwave sticker on it. One of the classic bands.

Him playing bended knee brought me back to a sad place in life but it was such a moment that was needed and it just hit like a ton of bricks with the nostalgia

    Super EDUCATIONAL!
I have said it before on Twitter that the programming of the 808 and now the other gear throughout the years have been unsung because as this video shows, everyone has not pushed instruments to and beyond the limits like FlyteTyme has! ♥️🎯🔥🎉🏆🎤🎹🎧🎶

thank you for sharing all your blessings. I appreciate it. Someday maybe I'll be walking through my studio giving a tour. L O L. Dreams come true, look at this guy. And the comment where somebody said they wrote the soundtrack to their life, so accurate. So entangled in the 80s and 90s. Revolutionized music.
