1.9 one reason why is bc it is harder to aim and that is bc u also have to focus on timing your hits and not just spamming in cpvp hotkeying is required and in axe pvp u need to know how much health ur opponent is in compared to you these are only some examples of 1.9 being harder than 1.8 but dont get me wrong 1.8 takes a lot of skill as well

im just gonna say that it’s hard to say which version is harder as a whole, because in each there are modes with high skill ceiling. So while u might say something is “easy”, there’s always a player who can destroy u in it.However if we just compare the two versions in the basic mechanics 1.19 is harder.
Absolutely you play seldom play 1.8 version, if any 1.8 player play high version, thay will quickly get the hang of it.
However, if someone who play high version go to play 1.8 version, they will get rekt

In 1.8, there are a lot of spammers but in 1.9, you can't spam and that makes it a lot harder and sprint hits, crit hits and sweep hits is also a headache for 1.9+ pvpers like us
Spammers is a must do for 1.8 or just time your hits because one extra hit from your enemy and your fate is already decided
I'm a 1.8 main and still trying to get better at 1.9 but
To be honest after you learned all of those fancy combos in 1.8 someone will allways destroy you and you will get this feeling of not getting better so it's not easy to get good at 1.8 but idk about 1.9 yet soo

Sword pvp is harder than crystal..
In sword u have to learn different movements and acquire aim, in crystal all u need is fast hotkeying and a bit of logic🤷
