It seems this ‘Death Road’ is no longer passable with large sections missing but no sign at the top. Not to be used.

That sunset was absolutely stunning. I think I'll the TNR to my bucket list - what an amazing landscape.

So much planning, work, effort, pain, enjoyment and filming put into this event, and we very much appreciate it. Excellent stuff 💪🤝

Looks a stunning section 😍 Don’t you just love that Dorm snorer - there’s always one 😉

Really inspiring thank you - I must do more of this. Loving the quote at 5:02 , the risks and perils of dorm sleeping! As someone with a snorey wife, I always travel with a few foam earplugs just in case.

What an adventure you've had, Simon...

It looks absolutely stunning and managing 10,000 ft of climbing a day is very impressive, I’m sure this trip is one that will live long in your memory, it almost seems to have a spiritual element. You are riding alone making your own decisions but there is still that camaraderie, respect and comradeship that seems to bind like minded souls across all nationalities and ages. It’s great to see.

For many people that camaraderie was a huge part of the ride Stephen. As I say in the podcast, I'm not sure I ended up mentally in quite the same place, simply because I was making these videos and, consequently, felt a little like a detached observer. It's a hazard of my lifestyle I guess...

Simon, this is awe-inspiring footage and, if I may, quite emotional such is the rugged beauty of some of the land and mountain scapes. I've had my eye on this challenge for a while and seeing you do it at your own pace has made me start thinking more seriously about it. Can't wait for the final episode and thank you for sharing.

Thanks Simon, and I admit, I get a little choked-up in the next episode when I have to leave those amazing high places.

Probably the best 'thing' you've ever put up on the channel and, definatly, was worth taking the tougher route - the scenery is absolutely jaw dropping.

This is the most beautiful series of films Simon, really lovely - not just beautifully filmed and edited but your passion for the scenery is coming across. I'm sure I heard your voice quaver a bit when you were describing how beautiful it was!

There’s a big quaver on Sunday when I have to leave those high places too. Quite emotional I was.

As ever, an excellent video Simon. Your videos persuaded me to buy a Sonder Camino - it arrived last week. 🙂

Hi Simon - just come down death road and it is no longer passable after 2 very recent rock falls that have taken out nearly 100 mtrs of road and there is little warning at the top in Elva - you may want to update your videos to highlight this - it very dangerous now

I always carry ear plugs in my camping hygiene kit as I have already spent too many sleepless nights in refuges and outdoors.

I had two different types of ear plugs, eye mask and sleeping pills. That guy's chainsaw cut right through!

@@alwaysanotheradventure In those extreme cases, an ear plug up his nostril might be the last resource. Ultimately, it's for the common good.
