Using this video to help you articulate what you are feeling, & thinking about, is an *excellent* 'purpose' for creating it.
As a ::cough:: fifty-something ::cough:: Scottish guy - who was only diagnosed as ASD one year ago [edited from 'two years ago', because... my faulty memory! :-( ] - my diagnosis answered _so_ many questions about me; but it also took me nearly a year to process, before I fully accepted, started to understand, and started *using* my Apsie traits.
Ironically, it's my main 'special interest' ( *so* much jargon!!!) - the one that lets me balance myself, and hide away; while doing something interesting - that now has me out & about, talking _to_ people, and talking *in front of* people! ::Aaaarrrrggghhhh!!!::
OTOH - I can now see that I'm definitely making a difference - even in a tiny way.
    Don't try to rush.
Take it a step at a time.
Remember, even when you're on your own, you're not *alone* . The internet has made Aspie communication *so* much easier. :D
And, just by starting this channel, you _are_ making a difference (I certainly couldn't do it!) It's great to see & hear a Scottish voice out there.

How to make a difference when being in contact with others is a struggle? Like Nietzsche's Zarathustra we should go up on the mountain and contemplate. Then come back down among the people for a time to share what we've learned.
