The small, glass handkerchief vase thingy at the beginning was a tea light candle holder. When personal kilns became a thing for the glass community in the 90s, we kind of went nuts making all kinds of weird forms. 🙂
The small wooden shelves with sides are for books. They work very well.
I knew when you didn’t put the kangaroo in your buggie…it was a goner.
I collect the Monax Petalware!!! Some of them GLOW! They are my everyday dishes and I love them. The MacBeth-Evans company was eventually bought by Corning and the glass formula was the precursor for Corelle due to its strength. Looks fragile…but pretty darned strong!
I love watching you so much that I’m like a silly little kid when you say you’re going to take us with you to the next Goodwill and I know the video isn’t over yet.😄👶🏼
The Picasso living pieces can be woth good money. I bought one of their vases for $5.99 and resold it for $300
I think i might’ve grabbed that hand woven smoked wood basket. 🤓
The ballerina dishes are the ones I'll spend the rest of my life looking for. My favorite people in the world, my grandparents, had the entire set with plates cups saucers and everything. Ive spent the last 15 years trying to find a set. I have 2 refrigerator dishes and a serving bowl. I don't use them but I love looking at them, they make my heart smile.
Check out the vintage kitchen
Are they the platinum or a different color. The mint green ballerina is very pretty also.
Look into MacBeth Evans, related to the plates you found. 😊
They're white with kind of a blueish mint green and silver around the edges.
They look like the Bel-Air except the center is white.
The bowls I have say Ballerina Mist but the plates for that pattern don't have the white center or the silver edge.
The fold out wood piece was a shelf for books, no book ends needed!!
I spent yesterday, sick in bed with my 7-year-old watching Crazy Lamp Lady videos. I got her hooked on thrifting videos and yours are definitely her favourite! It was good mommy daughter bonding time and made both of us feel a little better :)
How sweet is that?!! Also instilling a work ethic! Who doesn't love looking for buried treasures? ❤❤
I have GOT to move back East. You were putting stuff back that I dance a jig for when I find it. lol not joking, I actually dance a little step or two when I make a good find
The curse of the Wine Cooler !! Made you forget all about the kangaroo,oh the shame of it all LOL
Here I'm yelling go get the kangaroo !!!
The glasses with flowers went with corelle ware. The wood with folding ends are book shelves for tables etc.
The Carved wood trays were for books
At 5:07, that is a book rack carved of shesham wood, from India. I have a similar book rack from 100 yrs. ago, in the Arts & Crafts style.
I kept screaming at my iPad “pick up the kangaroo”!! ☹️
At 2:36 that green vase is very old, I was given one with flowers in it after my son was born 41 years ago.
4:40 GW thrifting can feel like a 3D version of that Memory card matching game.
In regards to the wine cooler, most Goodwills have an outlet section where you can plug stuff in to see if it works.
The humidor setup for pipes brought back some awesome memories. My dad had one just like it that sat on his side table for years. I donatedhis and i am having big regrets about doing so.
Maybe you could do a shopping with you live ?! Just for the ppl on here that have valuable knowledge or for the ppl that have been looking for forever for certain items and they happen to see them while your shopping ? Just a idea
At the second GW there was an antique pottery ginger beer bottle-I was yelling, “pick that, pick that!” but you didn’t hear me 😂. I usually get $25 plus for them and some of the more rare are worth quite a bit. Like you said, you can’t catch everything.
I was thinking the same thing!!
Waterford is a very difficult mark to find. Very faint and small. Bring a magnifying glass or lupe. Or zoom with the Iphone or whatever.
Sometimes takes some looking if it’s worth it.
You have picked up and put down several pieces of Pinwheel pattern 24% Lead crystal, made in Czechoslovakia, sold buy major department stores in the 60-80’s. I’m 69 and my mother had a complete set of glasses in every type, decanters, large bowls.
got her baggies full of yunk, tho 🤑
You totally could have titled this video "I FOUND PICASSO AT GOODWILL!" and it would have been true!
Very fun finds today
Love seeing all the things 😊
Morning Joycelyn those wooden shelves was for books lv Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Called tabletop bookcase.
3:50 these plates sell for around $25 EACH. With a larger set you could probably get even more. Big miss
The shelf you picked up at 5:04 is actually an adjustable bookholder. It is carved shesham wood from India.
So happy you went back for the fruit. I commented they went with the dish/saucer. Can you imagine if you could hear our comments live??? Hey, that’s a great idea!!! Shop live and we can comment on our opinions. Now wouldn’t that be just a kick in the pants???? Lol
I like the shop the shop videos! So fun
I've actually thought of that , too. Shop live. I think it's a great idea!
I’d love to see a “shopping for resale” live video!!
Loved this video just like I live them all ❤
I kept yelling the scissor holder😂😂😂😂
Rocking the music at Goodwill today❤
The wood pieces are book holders
Sliding ones!
Great video!!!
You should of went back and got the kangaroo when you realised.
I kept saying " I don't see the kangaroo in your cart "
It was in the cart. The tail was sticking out near the back of the cart.
@@erinnswan7063See 13:20 mark
@@erinnswan7063 She said she forgot to pick it up . If you listen to her while she was sitting in her car she says she forgot to pick it up.
Old Pyrex, even with the dishwasher crapped out coloures are still better than the new “pyrex” kitchen ware.
1915 Pyrex kitchen ware was a huge contribution/convenience for the cook in the family home.
The automatic dish washer that came out for home use in 1929. BIG advancement.
Neither came with warning labels. LOL
“Don’t put the Pyrex in the dishwasher.”!
Lowercase pyrex is a different type of glass than uppercase PYREX, and is not as heat- nor shatterproof as PYREX. It can still shatter, as I know to my detriment, having put cold water into a hot PYREX casserole😢
Interesting finds!
Why not go back in for the goose?
Great video 😊
OH EM GEE, when you see a thumbnail and instantly know the "HAND" belongs to that Crazy Lamp Lady Jocelyn...you know you are "Thrifting Mad" bahahaha
03:27 Macbeth Evans Petalware
What great finds
I lije the vase also. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The green glasses with flowers were correll. They came with my plates and bowls.
That's the pattern my mom had.
The wooden shelves are for books, I think they call them book troughs and the little box with the doves is a wedding ring box.
The stamped wood things are free standing bookshelves / bookends.
Sold those PICASO plates.
The white plates at 3:33 is petalware, made 1930s-40s. Sometimes they have flowers painted on. The hinged wood pieces are bookshelves to put on your desk. And if I was there, I would have gladly run back in to get the kangaroo for u! 😊
Video time stamp 4:44, The small white pitcher and bowl with the berry and leaf decoration is McCoy
Colchester is a town in the SE UK 🇬🇧 great finds 🎉❤✌️🇬🇧
The carved wooden "shelf" with fold down legs could be a bookshelf for a table top. The decorations on the end would be exposed in that use. The fold down portion is the bookends.
Ballerina Platinum is Universal china. I hope it sells well for you. Nice to find the full humidor and pipe stand! I found the glass jar and lid a while back in a barn and didn't know what it was until I did my research.
dunno that stack of Picasso dinner plates looked nice
Super caffeinated day? Hard time following the prices. Very fast. Ha.
Fast because of the music.
@@rikkemeek1506she was moving extremely fast on this one
@@busygirl4474 She did so because of the music.
Hello from Mexico 👋
Those carved wooden things are book holders. I have a couple.
The hinged tray s for books I think, therefore it has its bookends built in.
Great fine today !
Those wooden rectangular "trays" you found are actually for books. The sides flip up and act like bookends. I have one that belonged to my grandparents.
That little girl is cute. She’s right on queue with The “yeah! at 12:54
The wooded “tray” was actually book holder.
If wine fridge doesn’t work you can return. Goodwill does take returns on items that do not work there was a sign in Xmas that said no returns on Christmas items otherwise you can return@ goodwill :)
Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!❤
A lot of time they need a new fuse that easy to fix.
why didnt u just go back in to get the kangaroo while you were still there....
I was wondering the same exact thing
Wait, you didn’t go back for the kangaroo?!
Colchester, Essex in England is not too far from where I grew up - it is the oldest recorded town in Britain
The wooden pieces at 4:56 are book ends. I would love to find some of those!!
That fruit that was syill there was so cool fun thanks California
The wood object that opens up are book holder
The shelf wood pieces from India are book racks, ends.
You missed a very collectable bottle! R. Whites cod bottle!! Show Andrew!
Love love you
Those are adjustable bookshelves.
This filming was fast and a little dizzying, lol
I think there was abundant coffee involved. Hahaha
@ Linda, Haha! Love Jocelyn!
The yellowing on the bottom of that mixing bowl can be removed with a magic eraser.
Saw that jug sold for online elsewhere for $83.
Pitcher and bowl set at 4:44 is McCoy
The little box with the birds on it probably signifies 2 turtledoves?
My favourite thing today is the weirdo plastic trinket chest. Internet dive reveals it's Japanese from the 90's (?); eBay has a version for $22 CDN + shipping that's not as colourful (or cute in my opinion). I like it, makes me smile. 😊
Let us know if the wine fridge works 😊
The wooden pieces were book shelves
Why is the music so loud in that store? Who would want to shop in that place with the music so overwhelming!! Can you say...MAY I SPEAK TO THE MANAGER?!! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DAILY.
I was looking in your cart after you picked up the scissors, and I was yelling at you to go back and get the kangaroo, but alas, you didn’t. Sigh. Why didn’t you run back in and grab her? LOL!
Same
@@erinnswan7063She said she forgot it after she got distracted by the wine fridge.
Me too! 😂😂😂
Fun shopping trip! 😊
She couldn't hear you over the loud music😄
So many book and cat lovers…you would’ve done well on those bookends.
Doves on box for wedding rings
The dishwasher marks might be able to be removed with a magic eraser gently, if it’s on the surface of the paint.
The wooden tray is really book holders
What you thought was a wooden tray is actually a book stand. I have one.
Yippee!🎉🎉🎉
That “trinket box” looks like it should be part of Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
I hate baggies. Things are always broken.
I d like to buy the avocado smoking stand. Which platform is it on?
Very cool video I used to do this exact thing but without recording it I’d have to many people staring at me then that’s when it’s time to goooo don’t do it anymore since me and ex wife separated but if I’m skateboarding in the area I stop in look at the bags electronics and picture frames you got to look at frames people donate them with awesome stuff inside also wallets ex bought a bag it had phone cases and Women wallets there was $80 cash in one of the wallets
Kate is too funny. Have a Girlfriend like she is, a free Spirit. We don’t have an Goodwill around me in New Jersey. One about 5 miles from here closed during COVID, never reopened. My Son goes to all te Pa. Ones. Hello from New Jersey.
Did you pass up Picassco Plates??? OMG,😢😢😢😢😢
Go back & get the kangaroo!❤
You were the one who taught me how to look up the sold items on eBay. Thank you (a little late) and congrats on the finds
Italian Venini 1947
The weird piece is 3 pieces glued together and painted
I don’t know if I’ve ever had whiskey 🤔 I heard it’s best to buy a good bottle rather than a cheap bottle.
Absolutely!
That statement is accurate,,,,,, as I sip on some really good bourbon ;)
If you want prober whiskey you need to go to Scotland. I'm not being biased at all😄
@@rikkemeek1506 🤣
@@rikkemeek1506 You mean whisky? Love a good Islay Scotch Whisky
If the fridge doesnt work i believe Goodwill offwrs refunds for electrical things if they dont work
