I liked several things about this show, for example harley Queen being her own villain and his entire episode, the clayface episode was also great, and gentleman ghost was great as well There's also the fact that they genderswapped pinguin, but hey, as long as i found the charactar entretaining, i am good. And FINALLY, ONOMATOPOEIA GOT HIS CHANCE TO APPEAR IN A BATMAN SHOW!! i have hope that this show would get better in the future, i feel that season 1 is just the introduction to this universe, maybe in season we can see joker, the return of some villains, and batman alongside gordon working together to inprove gotham for good.

As I've not seen this series yet, I cannot comment one way or another, however on one point, I respectfully differ I think it is completely appropriate for Batman and various similar superhero's to have shorts over tights, it to looks completely odd to have missing.

Yeah I'm gonna say it I got some issues with this Review, Firstly Batman's design that's like d AU problem. some people actually do like the underwear on the outside, plus since this does take place in the 40s and that was his or design he had indulged comics yeah it makes sense why they will use that design. I thought this show was pretty good. This is Batman in his early stages getting his footing. Him and the police aren’t getting along yet. The villains are good, some of the side characters are good. While there is a lot of race and gender swapping, they make it work. Other than Penguin, she felt a little forced into that title. I’m not a huge fan of Bullock being part of the corrupt cop group he and Gordon should be clean. Harley was meh. All the villains were good and had a good story to follow. A lot of your complaints fall flat. You just say it’s bad and make a couple complaints no actual comments or criticisms. I thought it was well done.
We seen Batman start off plenty of times before but its never been boring like this and they don’t really do anything to make the race swaps work it’s just the same Jim Gordon but black and yeah I don’t like bullock being corrupt either I would’ve preferred if it was just flash that was corrupt and thx for the criticism about my complaints I wish I could get in to more detail about all of them but I have to keep my videos short cause the ai I use has a limited amount of minutes unless I pay the subscription
I think it’s coming off boring or slow because they’re trying to bring us in and build the world. I think if it had start off with battling the Joker or Penguin or Riddler it would just feel like another Batman show. It’s got to fill us in.
I just can’t give it that excuse because the Batman movie and the Batman show and Batman year one all had Batman in his first year or two and none of them was boring. Maybe if they had better more exciting music or had the focus on Batman more it could’ve been more interesting
There’s stuff I don’t like, such as Harley Quinn’s character, random gender swaps etc. But I do like the show. It’s been cool from my pov. I think a lot of it was establishing characters and this Batman Universe. I think your point about the 1940s and Not acknowledging racism is almost un-needed, at this point, we know what happened 80 years ago, today we just want entertainment. I don’t think you can be mad at DEI/Gender Swaps and then be mad they didn’t talk about racism… But Batman did feel more like a side character in a few episodes and that criticism is quite valid, I agree. Especially in the Barbara Gordon, Montoya, and Harley Quinn Episode. I personally didn’t like the route they took with Harvey Bullock being one of the antagonists. BTAS did a great job of sort of growing his character. There were times this show made me think they were gonna go that route, but they ended up just leaving him as a baddie in the end.
Normally I would prefer them to not talk about racism, but when u have so many black people it’s kinda hard to ignore the fact of how hard it was back then for us, and I rather us learn from Our history than to ignore it and pretend like it didn’t happen. I didn’t like the bullock stuff, I’m more of a fan of his when he just a stubborn cop who does have good intentions

I think the whole Social Justice card being played in every show, especially one regarding DC comics, has people a little bit burnt out, which is unfortunate. I’d rather think of this show and many like it, as an alternate reality, where racism wasn’t a problem that plagued many during the period, and seeks to capture the idealism of early 20th Century America.

The video in the background is the invideo ai video which is the audio you hear and sometimes when I put a video over it like Batman i forget crop it all the way over it.
@@Lightningfrost66 Well, I hope I don't sound harsh, but I'm quite certain it's like the first unwritten rule of BGM, that you don't use music with sound effects and/or other artifacts 😅 Consider using clean music tracks only :) And I hope you get better at cleaning the video edits as well, because (especially) for a young channel you have a surprisingly good voice emission which is pleasant to listen to, so only the editing falls behind. Honestly the Gentlman Ghost episode and the last two were the only three I liked in the slightest. It felt like such a wasted opportunity, I just went right back to BTAS after I finished it.
The worst thing that can happen to any show is to be... boring. This new show just feels uninspired, sterile. I honestly cant bring myself to be interested in what is happening on the screen. And i think the main problem is in the seriousness that this cartoon take itself - its too grounded, too safe. It feels like a show from a man who assumes what batman is without adding any substance. Dude, people used to gender and "race swap" before diversity happened. It's the comics, there's a multiverse. There's going to be a universe with a female penguin, a halfcast Gordon, etc. You say you don't like how the show is just a less good version of BTAS and doesn't try to be different, then assign the differences it does actually have to socio-politics. I do agree on the animation bit though, I'm hoping that if the show continues they'll get better, many shows suffer that problem early on. Another thing I didn't like was the making Alfred fat, I hope that doesn't translate into him being incapable.

@gaminghighlights8062 not the original commenter, but personally I found it refreshing to have a superhero project where nobody has powers, and I appreciated that it followed the detective side of batman more than the "overpowered prep time god batman".
Are you talking about just the superhero having no powers cause if not a few of the villains like gentlemen ghost had powers

Dude, people used to gender and "race swap" before diversity happened. It's the comics, there's a multiverse. There's going to be a universe with a female penguin, a halfcast Gordon, etc. You say you don't like how the show is just a less good version of BTAS and doesn't try to be different, then assign the differences it does actually have to socio-politics.
I do agree on the animation bit though, I'm hoping that if the show continues they'll get better, many shows suffer that problem early on. Another thing I didn't like was the making Alfred fat, I hope that doesn't translate into him being incapable.
