Like you say. Most body shops would not touch this kit, because the man hours involved. A DIY person how ever, could make it work only ,because he has the desire to make it work.. Great video, because it's very very useful for people that have NO Clue what is involved ! But to be honest " How Could They Know?!" Nobody shows this kind of video "Perfect !
I dont want to cut the car but here in Houston, TX there are no Z car bodies for sale that are not rusted out really bad... and they still want more than i paid for mine.. ($3000) im going to have to set up all the saws and grinders.. and then smoke some crack to make the first cut
it is going to be a while before i mess with that body kit.. i just bought it because the next batch they make will not be that cheap.... in other words that was the last of a batch they probably bought 5 years ago at normal prices.. and they reduced the price a bunch
@chriscraft77022 I'm still debating on buying the same kit as this.. or just extra wider flares... are you planning to overlay more fiberglass mat in the back of each piece?
@@damnitdang oh yeah.. those pieces are way too thin.. not sure when I’m going to start on the project.. I’m burnt out on real cars.. been messing with nitro rc on my other channel 😀
@chriscraft77022 did you tape it all on the Z to see if it fits pretty good? I'm tempted to buy a set. But being so thin. I might just do wide fender flares

Can't wait to see you make it work. I wanted to widebody my Z but my car had no rust and couldn't stomach cutting my fenders off because of that.

Its a fender flare kit not wide body.
The guy that had this kit and the real bunny kit, he ditched the rear for the fake one cus it actually fitted better than the bunny did lol
