So, I am wanting get a widebody datsun at some point and pandem just released one for the 280zx. Would I need to weld anything in place or just cut and use tape to hang the piece and let the underlying, original part still be there? I ask because I want to do the kit and I don't know how to weld
So you will have to cut the car up to fit it, I welded mine but I’ve seen plenty of people just seal there’s up without welding but I prefer welding to get a complete seal
Absolutely loved this video. First one I’ve watched on your channel and I was impressed. Happy to subscribe! My father-in-law drove his old 72’ 240z down from Washington to my home in SoCal. I dont know anything about cars, just motorcycles and houses. I was excited about the car, especially since it was a gift to my wife and the history behind this car, but its not in the best condition. It has rust all throughout the frame: skirts, bumpers, engine slot (or whatever you call it) and more. Im trying to learn all I can to bring this car back from the dead and I feel like you didn’t an amazing job in breaking everything down thoroughly while at the same time keeping it focused to the point. Looking forward to learning more from you. What can I do if I have questions?
Appreciate it brother!! I can not wait to get back to this project next month! Find me on Instagram same name as here if you have questions on your project that’s the best way for me notifications on youtube are shotty and I miss them from time to time
Alot of guys seek to ditch the rocket bunny for the cheap ones.. i think mainly the rear piece.. im thinking the same for mines.. just gonna order the Vsaero kit

Yeah buddy that body kit is going to look sick!
Thanks brother this is a dream car and I can’t believe I’m building one
How much of the body kit that you have to shave down to make it fit I just ordered one and it seems like it doesn’t fit very well
