@AtlasSurvivalShelters I have a idea for the escape tunnels, or even the door to the bunker if it's in a basement. If you don't know about wire cutting, there are videos, but two pieces of metal milled to seamlessly fit together. So if you make a door like that and have a way to guild it on some rails all it needs to do is go back a few inches then to the side, people get in then close and lock it behind them, and anyone chasing them provided they didn't see the use the door, would be wondering where they went. Being a low income man it's sad I can't afford your service but if I ever get the money in time I definitely am gonna put a order in.
I've seen hundreds of bunkers in my life time: both government and private. This is one of the top 5 if not top bunker I have seen. It's amazing!!! This is what I would want personally, if I had that type of money laying around. You have privacy, you can get away from it all if you want quiet (shooting range), HVAC, power back ups, generator (I wonder how much fuel the tank holds), you name it. I would add a library/video/craft room, a bigger storage room (parts for the generator and such). Hell if I was single, I would almost just make this my home. Just need something for car storage. Great job!!!
RON you should incorporate some of those features in your bunkers, like the escape hatch.also would like to see versions from you with units like that were the rooms are separate and privacy like a house that bunker has that all the bedrooms the bathrooms like that.all and all it’s and awesome bunker
Love that escape system/hatch. Install it subsurface with a few inches to a foot of dirt over the exit portal. Might be cost prohibitive but I would like a much longer tunnel.
That's a Ripper Bunker Ron, I would not need the hair salon table thing with me being near bald lol and I loved the escape tunnel hatch that is cool. Thanks for posting & stay safe.
With all due respect, it seems to me that many "private" bunkers lack in some important aspects: real concealment of the entry, effective protection against blast/shockwave (90° turn), "serious" mud room/decontamination room in a sealed environment, redundancy in the most vital systems (at least TWO generators with PLENTY of fuel and spare parts, other power sources such as solar panels/wind turbines, multiple air filters, water supply, etc...).
Was kind of thinking the same thing. For some short disaster it's perfect but if it was something more serious. You have a diesel generator which is nice but then it runs out of fuel and then what? I assume this bunker had some sort of backup power source but solar and wind could be damaged if they are sitting outside depending on the disaster.
Seriously, how about a small nuclear reactor similar to what is used on deep space probes or the ones the Soviet union had decades ago, that were abandoned all across the countryside and are well documented. They are designed for zero maintenance power provision for decades...if you have the money I'm sure the permits could be had. You'd power your house off-grid too.
@AtlasSurvivalShelters yes, but can u show an A-Z installation and walk through once installed of the $20k bunker? Also, it would be nice to know the prerequisites.
*That **_escape hatch_** is dangerous because what if something parks on top of it or if something falls on it, you wouldn't be able to escape, you'd be stuck in there* !! If I ever have money in my life to own land I will certainly buy me a bunker but what I'm going to do different is, _I'll add 5 escape routes, secretly hidden throughout, I WOULD seriously go all out on it_ but sadly, it's only a dream for me..
Or you could have a truck that's literally designed to be able to let someone smoothly go into the truck from the bunker. Through a hatch underneath the truck.
I would love to see some 360 degree bunker tour videos! Taken with something like the insta360 x3. Would be awesome to pan around and maybe even watch it in vr 😀
I dream of having a combo of the California and west Virginia from the platinum series.. with a double walled reinforced co free entrance for the garage
This is one of the ultimates! I do hope that the sound deadening material if fire resistant or even fire proof. Just curious can you have your manufacturer drop ship one of the air filtration systems to an address in Europe since they are located in Europe? Will those blast valves protect the bunker from these hyperbaric weapons? Not only do they emit a pressure wave but they also create a negative pressure wave as the fuel is consumed and it sucks out the atmosphere.
I'd love to see you build an underground monolithic dome as a central room with square bunkers around it. I am a bit claustrophobic and would want some kind of open feeling.
4:17 In emergency bad luck conditions, you may have no control of ambient temperature. Thanks to humidity and exhaled breath, then you get condensation on the walls. Not a good time for beds to be in contact with walls and picking up condensation that runs down the walls and will make the sheets and blankets wet. When condensate runs down the walls to the floor, it helps if there is a gutter to catch it and divert it. Less wall contact also means fewer creepy crawlies in your bed when the weather is warm. Best to have a foot of air space all around the bed.
Look on the floors in rooms and walls. There Are vents. There Is an air distribution system (you can see it in the engine room next the Lunor units). Look like air recuperation. So there will be humidity control.
And in year 3 of the nuclear winter, if your power goes out (no sun = no solar power, plus breakdowns) you have not much air movement without electricity for the HVAC blowers or even random fans you try to set around the place. For survival, if you aren't totally paranoid and if you aren't ready to deal with Stone Age conditions like no electricity and no batteries remaining and no generator function--- without that you tend to go extinct. That's why those Swiss air filtration units have cranks the little girl with a broken arm can manage to make work. Planning that is real foresight, built on real experience in the Alps. Americans need to quit assuming that relics of our suburban spoilage will linger on after civilization is gone. Live and learn, or don't learn and die. We are headed for Darwinian conditions and need to not be leaving any loose ends.@@ClockworkJohn92
