My Lomi Composter 1 Year Review

I was hooked on the LOMI and all that it brought. But, then things changed...

After my Lomi broke, I decided to just go back to putting my food scraps in the compost bin that's picked up every week. I've now moved on to the Reencle composter which I'm really liking a lot.

Do you get a newspaper everyday which you payfor. reuse the newspaper by Laying the newspaper on the counter , cut your food up on your cutting board and put scraps on the newspaper. Roll it up like package and place it in your bin.

Thanks for the video. I’ve seen many reviews that describe the reliability problems with the device. I find the scrap bucket works well for us, too. We bought a barrel composter and I give the finished compost to our neighbor . In summer we get free vegetables, cherries, peaches and pears out of the deal. You need any zucchini?

The dehydrated Lomi effluent is less ready to return to compost than if you'd just used a compost bucket. Your electric cost also includes the additional cost of air conditioning (in the summer) because of the heating and humidification of the Lomi. So you're paying for electricity twice...actually more than twice because the air con is far less efficient than heating. Lomi is making people feel better about being eco respectful when in reality they are not helping the planet at all and probably making a net burden. They are kind while taking a lot of money and making empty promises. You are better off giving your money to a genuine charity working to clean the planet.

Yep...I'm finding the "compost bucket" in my kitchen to be much more "green" and quite frankly, easier

I love my Lomi! If you will get new Machine you can send me I have few months and unfortunately it was broken already but they’re replacing bucket and I’m sure I can use it another day just the love of that thing so much fun and it’s machine after all yes it’scan be broken but if it’s replaceable that is just awesome
