I'm a master aesthetician of over 31 years but this one is a new one for me. My 28 year old daughter came down with hives that lasted several days. Mostly on the backs of her elbows with large wheals or welts. Post hives she now has indentations in her skin? Not raised. It's so odd. She's freaking out. Any ideas?
In addition to the tiny welt, I'll get the feeling that something is creepy-crawly on my skin. I'll also go through sneezing and runny nose lasting for a while. Getting hives is a real annoyance.
My hives left dark marks all over my body and I need to know how to make them fade sooner. I can't seem to find any answers, should I just, IDK jump off a cliff?!?
I never had hives before. I was just prescribed Cephalexin and ended up in the hospital with a resting pulse of 150, problem breathing and problem swallowing. Benyidyill has been the only relief
I'm 65 and just got hives for the very first time. It SUCKS! They come and go, mainly on the palms of my hands, and nothing seems to work on them. Been going on for over a month now. Antihistamines work to relieve itching but that's all.
Having a chronic outbreak. Benadryl usually works. Not this time. It's going on two weeks on and off. Taking two Benadryl every 4 hours today. No relief. Threw in claritin in between. No relief. I need to know what to use in the middle of an outbreak for relief.
Prednisone antihistamine, take 10mg in the morning and 10mg at night cause the body is naturally more itchy at night and the side effect are moon face, insomnia etc but just for as long as your on it and take it only when your other antihistamine isn’t helping your relieve😟you will be fine and take vitamins d ,1000 iu for 20 days it helps😔am dealing with chronic urticaria as well.also remember you can be on antihistamine for as long as possible but not prednisone that’s for just few days or worse days
@@theodoramichael2489 Allergist prescribed Pepcid and Montelukast. I take with Zyrtec. Hives are gone. Thank goodness! I was already on Vitamin D, 50,000 IU (once a week).

Looking the way to get rid of it.
@@mikiplayz1995 Yeah hehe just keep trying and see what works for you. As for me I usually take a piece of paper towel and soak it in wine and then I tape it to where my hives are. Make sure to do that from the beginning before the hives spread all over your body.
I get them when i’m annoyed or when i get near something im allergic to.

Hives can be caused by food allergy. Have you changed your diet recently or eaten or drunk a lot more of something than usual? Just a thought.
@@marieravening927 No, nothing like that.
Same

My hives recently leaves scars, because i could not stand the itch, so i scratch them so hard till parts of my body bleeds
I'm pretty sure I must be stress
Mine also and it's very itchy. I guess mine was from an antibiotics treatment i took. It's been a month now n it's still there.
USE A BRUSH
Wait, I had hives once. Does that mean I'm Jewish?
When I had hives I put red wine on my hives and it stopped spreading. It is very effective!
@@kittycat4746 What a waste of wine. Bi-carb works better and is cheaper.
