A friend of mine actually ruined an EST seminar when they presenter made the mistake of pointing to him and asking him if he had any questions. The long and short of it is, my friend cost the guy everyone in the room from signing up for the paid seminar. 🤣
Wow, time capsule. Did this sketch with a classmate for high school drama class. We hadn't even seen it to know how to play it, we just pulled the transcript off the internet. I'm glad there's no tape of it.
"When I was 3 years old I didn't quite understand the value of a - Wait a second! How many people are watching Gord kiss money?" Nearly spit my coffee up. I could watch at least fifteen minutes of this skit. Easily one of the best KITH skits ever.
Or, the Kids must have seem their share of motivational speakers themselves before writing this sketch. I don't wanna sound like the old guy here, but salesmen and the like have been using this same shitck since the 70s, and probably way before that.

Let me ask you a question. How many of you have UA-cam channels? All of you! And how many of you would like more subscribers? What If I told you that you already have one million potential subscribers? Would that interest you?
Omg! I remember living through the days of money making schemes. Herbalife and Amway to name the biggest. And I love how they were exactly like this, telling you how you can make millions without saying how, just buy the seminar and watch it work.
My father sold some Amway (or at least tried) when I was a child in the early 80's. He worked at Chrysler, and that was a very popular so-called side hustle at their plant long before anyone coined the term "side hustle". He eventually gave it up, not too sure why. Think people just got tired of Amway...he made some extra money for a bit, but it just dried up, I guess...
Trump University was a guide to house flipping and a pretty good one. Granted house flipping takes, resources, effort, and skill so most people probably did nothing with the info. It wasn't a get rich quick scheme...it was a blueprint for a grind that requires a lot of work.
The reason why some people mention that this feels like a lot of the current UA-cam financial gurus and a scam artists it's because it has always been this way. Always. The only thing that has changed is that now there's way more of them
I've had a lot of success in...selling many things. I mean legally. I succeeded most on the telephone, not very well in person. But man I was always either the best, or at LEAST top 3-5 sales in the office. I think it's fun. The psychology is fun!

I love KITH, but I never was much of a fan of these types of sketches. I get it: yuppies They pretty much are saying the same things in every sketch. However, I do like the Danny Husk sketches. Maybe I feel like the others lack any kind of focus or narrative.
Apparently, you don’t get it. This is a skit that lampoons how seminars talk a great deal but never say much of anything at all. There is no real help or advice anywhere to be found here.
You just learned exactly EVERYTHING there is to be learned at a motivational seminar! No need to ever pay for one!!!

This is one of their best. It is very close to the real thing.
spot on actually depends how deep in the country you are😅
They definitely nailed it.
We were holding a seminar in Seattle... we conduct these seminars all over the world, but mostly, in Seattle...
This resembles 99% of the financial gurus on UA-cam.
They really were ahead of their time

That was literally my first thought. This is not the first time I see one of their skits that feels accurately current.
Not to mention the MLM babes.

Yet another brilliant sketch from a brilliant show.

This is what I hear when Tony Robbins is speaking.
Tony Robbins is one of the most obnoxious freaks on the planet.

“Wow... The Italians” 😂😂😂😂
This skit was the inspiration for Glenngary Glen Ross.
This might be the greatest motivational sesh I've ever seen. And I'm over 55.
Just like a Nikken/Amway/ Herbalife presentation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now thats money momentum
Absolutely brilliant!
How much funnier were these guys than SNL?
as I understand it they wrote for snl back when it was funny, and the crazier stuff stayed in this show.
“And DONT. Let your BANKER. Tell ya DIFFERENT!” deserved a bigger laugh.
This is exactly like every time someone tries to sell bitcoin to me..
“And money never says no”
lol these guys, great skit!
I’m heading down to the bank to withdraw my $2,000,000, and I’m NOT going to let them tell me different!

different."

Before he actually put the money in his mouth, I was gagging!!

That's some great casting, the smiling dude in the front row with the giant hairdo!
he's gotta hockey game right after this

Monty Python would have the bad sketch police show up to arrest everybody for not ending the sketch properly.
