what an actress! And glorious singing! Exactly what Opera needs to boost it's appeal. She is the real deal!
Really.. I hear a lot of flat notes and no sempre liberal. If you can't sing that aria and cabaletta you cannot sing Traviata. She may be good in some roles but not this one . The editing of it shows I am right. She is pushing her voice which is why she doesn't have a high range

Ms Grigorian not only has a stellar, crystalline voice. She is also a beautiful and thrilling actress. Often riveting. Never less than emotionally charged. A consummate artist who melds drama and music as only the greatest opera stars can do. Violeta comes to life in Ms Grigorian’s brilliant hands - it is such a well conceived Traviata because of her. Oh, and (to paraphrase Ira Gershwin, about his brother’s melodies, when complimented for his lyrics), Verdi’s music ain’t bad either.

Maravillosa actriz. Muy creible, estupenda voz! La unica critica que le encuentro, es que en lo que es fioritura y adornos no tiene buena eficacia. No se entienden sus fiorituras, y no son claras. Fuera de eso su performance es espectacular.

Tenor - Pavel Černoch (from Czech republic).
She sings beautifully. Where is the weakness - in stage movement. Lots have to be learned. Major difference with Anna Netrebko who is an ideal actress on stage
Dear A Max, do you remember which occupation is represented by Violetta? She (Asmik) is perfect with her stage movement which is totally adapted to the personage. Pointing by hands here and there, like Netrebko, isn't any actress at all

Non capisco dove sia la volgarità. Non ne vedo nè nell'allestimento ambientato in ambiente medio-borghese anni '50 con bei costumi e scene, nè tanto meno nell'interpretazione scenica e vocale della Grigorian. Con certe schifezze che si vedono altrove....bho
