Comme tu as raison, on pouvait tout dire ,rire de tout, bonne musique (surtout pour tout les goûts) ,pas autant de bien-pensant de donneur de leçon, l'humour pour tous et toutes (comme pour la musique) etc etc

Vous avez raison, on vie une époque de merde avec des humains de merde qui donnent des leçons de merde à tout le monde. On eu peu plus rien dire sur rien. Et quand on vois la télé pourave de maintenant comme la télé réalité fait par des gens sans qi pour des gens débiles.
Le monde pas en couilles, et ces pas près de s'arranger.
On s'éclatait et on avait moins de soucis !

It's from a comedy show where there was a main guest, actor, singer.... And usually the singer was singing. So that's why this clip is a bit all over the place😂😂😂but the song is just is great 👍🏻👍🏻

the video is from a show . however ,this song was something in 80 s . i grew up with the idea of learning a "women job" . i was 10 in 1981 . this song told us we can do anything !I became a gardener and bulldozer driver . i m the only woman in my compagny .

Il est la bande son de ma vie ❤️ Je connais une grande de ses chansons par coeur. Je l'ai vu 4 fois en concert et la dernière fois a été accompagné d'une petite larme.

Michel Sardou is someone apart from the French song.
He was often controversial, and the intelligentsia repeatedly criticized him, but for the wrong reasons.
But to understand that, you have to understand what is called "the second degree," which is typically French humor ("Le temps béni des colonies" - The blessed time of the colonies -, another song by the artist, is the perfect example).
The barnyard nerds have taken Michel Sardou's texts at face value most of the time.
But it's no wonder because they did the same thing with rap.
They inappropriately confuse "claim" and "observation" (in the sense of a report of a social phenomenon observed - in French, we say "constat"). However, that's not the same thing.
They forget the role of performing artists is to put themselves in the shoes of the character they're playing.
However, it remains a character, a fiction, therefore, as realistic as it is.

Je me tue depuis tellement longtemps à expliquer à d'autres en quoi Michel Sardou n'est pas un sombre c...... mais au contraire un artiste qui manie si bien la satire que beaucoup n'y voit que du feu. Et je trouve ça triste. Ces textes sont souvent utilisés dans les médias pour montrer un homme aux mœurs intolérables, et pour autant, à moi, et de toute évidence je ne suis pas la seule, il me semble clair que ses propos sont juste une très bonne satire sur certains sujets, très bon exemple du "Temps des colonies".
Je parle de satire parce que selon moi, le second degré est propre à l'humour mais on reste dans le même principe de compréhension d'un texte !

Salut Dereck, Michel Sardou est un de nos plus grand artiste , on aime ou on n'aime pas c'est un choix mais il a vendu plus de 100 000 000 de disques entre les débuts 70's jusqu'à nos jours, revérence bravo l'artiste, il descend d'une lignée d'artiste dépuis le milieu du XIX° siècle se qui est rare non?????
The movie « La Famille Bélier » features some impressive songs by Sardou, sung by Louane (you already reacted to one of her songs I think). It’s a pretty standard teen/coming-of-age movie of course. The first song I knew and liked by Sardou was « Les ricains » which I understood to be about the US army and their role in defeating the nazis during WW2. It was only as an adult that I learned how controversial the song really is, as it was written during the war in Vietnam 😱 in response to those who criticised role of said army in that war.

In the 1980's it sounded like science fiction in France
In that time most employment could not even be spoken by a female word (and in French language, every word has a gender). Besides, French women got the right to vote in 1945. A French married woman needed the authorisation to open her own bank account till the years 1970's.
Dereck if you want to really experience the song, just find an audio version, especially this one where the lyrics just flow seamlessly and yet you might lose the track of what's being said... subtitles and an audio version and thats it. Most French speakers out here are familiar with the songs not their clip versions. In that specific case the show was so distracting I am pretty sure it interfered with your appreciation of the song, which is one of the best of Sardou and of the 80s.
You should also try Michel Sardouille "Le temps des femmes..."

Je suis francophone et cette chanson était très réaliste à cette époque, c'est la raison que certains groupuscules féministes ont crié au scandale. Ils suffit de crier plus fort que la majorité qui est souvent silencieuse pour faire croire qu'on a raison. C'est ainsi que font les Féministes parfois rididcule, car il n'y avait aucun jugement négatif.

Too bad you never finish reading the lyrics in your videos Dereck.. 😔 Especially old one to understand how OR it was ballsy or ahead of their times , or just to understand the message. And sometimes some funny Jokes. I think your viewers cn have the patience to watch you read them all.
I don't read all the lyrics because of watch time, unfortunately many people don't stick around until the 3min mark. Post reaction can be long and videos that exceed 10mins tend to get lost.
