every now and then my relatives ask me to build/ or upgrade their systems. before I do any build/upgrade/cleaning on any system, I watch the "2,000$ Verge PC build" video. and I gain confidence, if this guy can fuck up a lot of the things, and still got to the post screen, I can do this build with confidence.

radiator placement depends on where the pump is located. some AIO has the pump at the end of the radiator or on the radiator itself.
The reason why the block needs to be lower than the rad is because of air bubbles and the the pump. Pumps are usually located in the block and air bubbles will always rise and stay at that part of the AIO which is the highest point of the orientation. If the pump is the highest point, air bubbles will degrade the pump more faster than usual
Best bang for the buck I have tried is arctic. It's really cheap compared to more lucrative brands out there. I also agree than 120 rad is useless now a days. Better go with an air cooler with the same price if not cheaper.
Custom water cooling way more expensive than AIO and a lot more complicated, not to mention the effort and time to install it although if one is really into PC building I mean like really into building then I think it's worthwhile to try. As long as one has the money for it
Overall:
If one wants aesthetics but with good performance go with aio, It's fairly affordable. You are more likely to step on a 💩 than have your AIO leak

AIOs are good because of how it dissipates heat more compared to a regular heatsink. But the price and more points of failure are the reason why I still stick to heatsinks.
i have nzxt x62 280mm aio, it's more than 2 years already, still works fine. a bit underutilized though, running with r5 3600(then a temporary cpu but decided not to upgrade, 5950x might be my upgrade goal).
Depending on brands, the difference can be not so significant
Depending on the CPU, AMD for example if you use mid range like Ryzen 5 2600, 3600, 5600G, and 5600x, 240mm aio cooler is already good. If you're going for higher tier cpu like ryzen 9 5950x, I suggest go for 360mm aio cooler or above. Personally I use air cooler for now but will invest on aio cooler.
The bigger concern with having your radiator below your pump is that it contributes to inefficient cooling. If you mount your CPU block above the radiator, air will go up and gather in the pump which will lead to less water circulating and the pump working harder. When this happens, the heat from the CPU won't be able to dissipate properly. Granted this might take some time to happen but just do it right when installing to save you a headache in the future.

But why haven they come out with a anti-biofilm build-up type of solution or solvent to either add or regularly run inside your radiator? I fell that the traditional AC will always last longer than a AIO.

The arctic liquid freezer ii was my ideal cpu cooler. Even if I know di ko siya need sa system ko, sobrang ganda niya tignan. Sadly out of stock sa lahat when I was building, although I got the AK620 for a good price of 2.8K sa official lazada store nila. Iba pa rin dating ng arctic sa akin sobrang suwabe. Not to mention it has top notch quality in every single review I have watched. The fans of arctic are also really good especially if you are looking for a good quality yet budget case fan. HINDI ko alam paano magkabit nang AIO sa pc ko pero natuwa ako nung sinubukan ko mag install kaya ko pala e install ang aio. madali naman pala magkabit basta sakto lang ang pagkabit mo. sa mga connection nang mga wire
im using Deepcool LS720 ang masasabe ko sulit sya hindi sya kasing mahal ng ibang brand pero good ang performance nya against sa mas mahal na brand and about sa ID-COOLING totoo po yung sinasabe mo sir hindi sya tumatagal nagkaroon ako ng ID-COOLING Frostflow x240 and 1year lang tinagal nya sira na yung pump nya sayang pera kaya pagkatapos nun nag ipon ako for Deepcool LS720 and so far so good sya 7months na sya pero same as new pa rin ang performance nya.

After a yr using an AIO, switched to big cooler ulit.. mas maganda ang temp maintenance ng big cooler compared sa liquids one for long run.
to each his own, air coolers do have advantages over aios

What i love about AIO is yung pagiging maliit lang nila and madali lang mag ayos ng pc incase na may issue pagdating rams, hindi katulad Air Cooler talagang bulky at hirap mag ayos HAHAHAHA. Anyways this is so informative video for beginners like me.

They're more or less the same, hindi masyadong factor iyong positioning ng PC since even AIO use fans to cool the radiator

Do you need to take out the water inside the AIO after a certain amount of time or clean it? I just saw in this video that you did it because there are times that its clogs the pipe. And what will be the indication that there is something wrong with your AIO or when is the time that you need to replace it

Please don't forget to mention that almost all AIOs use only 1-2 OEM manufacturer. Tthe big 2 are Asetek and Coolermaster. There are other smaller ones like CoolIT, Apaltek, Swiftech. 80% of all AIO's sold use Asetek pumps and radiators. The only difference are the fans, RGB, and the branding the company places on their AIO.
I've had an ID cooling 240 AIO bought in 2015 and it's still running today on one of my builds. I've also had corsairs (they use CoolIT and ASetek OEM), and be quiet and they've lasted for many many years. So, to say that they aren't reliable based on a few samples is unfair. If you look at data from a bigger perspective, I'm sure it all evens out.

Nah, kuha ka nalang ng "AIO-tiered" Air Cooler para palit lang ng fans kapag may wear & tear na siya at faulty yung said part, pero tanong mo muna si Steve or Jay video wise for the best Air Coolers IF mechanical failure bothers you.
how's an AIO look better than an air cooler? AIO have tubes that destroys how the build looks and will only look cool once you change to better solid tube(which costs more and also needs someone who knows how to work with tubes) not some flimsy hose and that's why air cooler looks better to me
