    WOW!!!
In my opinion. Maybe the distortion look of the face could be sound waves making it look like his face distorted. Like you can see the soundwaves like heatwaves on a highway. I can't imagine eyes nose and mouth protruding 12 inches out in front a face, that's like a cartoon. But we really don't know do we. This is one of the few people who has actually seen the squatches vocalization from up close.
What an amazing and frightening encounter.

Wow! This is one of the most believable sasquatch encounters i have ever heard. So much detail. I can't imagine having to deal with this. I hope that everything will get better for this man. All i can suggest is to to talk to the Lord about it and to get strength and courage from him. I wouldn't be too concerned about hunting anymore. It seems like the world we don't know about is crossing over into ours these days. Like he said, HIGH STRANGENESS. God bless him. Thanks for telling your story..

The description of the face when it screams is fascinating, so unusual. It's the first time that I've heard that it's face melted and protruded. I've heard plenty about infrasound but never anything about the face turning into a muzzle of sorts. This is one of the best encounters I've ever listened to, and I've listened to hundreds.

That was a phenomenally told personal account & I genuinely enjoyed listening to this fellow tell it!
Michael comes across as an intelligent, well-read, level-headed, self-aware, & moral man.
He annunciated well, I clearly understood everything that was said, he did a fine job of describing how everything had occurred & appeared with impressive detail, & he also described how he felt & reacted throughout his entire encounter.
He even covered the aftermath of how the event affected him & his life, giving real-life examples of what having a sighting or an encounter (or perhaps a confrontation in his case) can do to an individual who doesn't believe in the Sasquatch or even their potential existence & doesn't personally prepare themselves for the possibility of running into one (or more).
And don't think that the severity of how it affected him is necessarily just because of what the Sasquatch had done; there are many eyewitnesses who've described being very similarly affected to a great degree or even worse after having a sighting of one that didn't even acknowledge or notice them & which lasted only a few seconds.

I saw a panicked deer that was being chased by dogs belonging to gutless hunters. That deer ran into the broad side of a ford pinto on the road in front of us. What a horrible mess for car and driver and deer. We were nearly involved as well. Then out come the hunters laughing and joking drunk. No clue what they'd done. Disgusting.

They’re pretty much anywhere-unless you’re in a major city. It doesn’t cost anything to stay up all night to listen and look. Night vision field glasses if you can get them second hand. Even better, if you’re fit enough to walk/hike at night. Parabolic mic is cheap to make. Look for signs. It may take months before they pass through, but they may-especially if there are greenways around you. :)

I saw one, or at least it's the only thing I can guess it was, when I was 7 and I'm glad I was a child because it was easier for me to adjust what I knew about this world. I really believe if I had been an adult, it would have shattered me. There was absolutely nothing good about the creature I encountered and I knew even at 7 what it wanted to do to me and I'm thankful everyday it decided to leave me.

  • @rachmonte

Frightening recall and description of his encounter. His ability to articulate is very impressive. I was afraid as I listened and felt concerned for him. He probably suffered from PTSD. Not surprised. One of the best Sasquatch stories I've ever heard. His intelligence and bravery saved his life. I'm glad he didn't kill the Sasquatch. The other Sasquatch could certainly have killed him out of revenge. Hard to know for sure. The second encounter would have done me in forever. I love hiking in nature but im afraid to hike now. How did I go through most of my life not hearing more about these creatures until the internet?!
This encounter would be an excellent movie if done well. This platform is better than watching a film. This story has me wondering if Sasquatch is here for a special but unknown reason. I don't think they are wild people. There must be a purpose for their existence. Especially since we can't prove they exist with physical evidence. Are they out there waiting for something? Just a thought. Maybe they are hiding and are supposed to remain unseen until they don't have to be unseen any longer. It's possible they are waiting for something scarier than man and his weapons and the capacity to kill them. Woodland warriors in waiting? I think they have a greater purpose than we might realize. Ya know?
God bless and stay safe everyone.

What are those gugwaes people talk about that may be what we have down here in the south because there’s a difference in people’s encounters. Like you can tell a difference between the stories and it messes you up. We all have a cognitive dissonance about something and when that is shattered you don’t know how your mind and body will respond. I don’t hunt anymore and that was my passion before the war and my encounter my dog was with me and he’s messed up too but I’d really like to talk to this gentleman

Sounds like he developed PTS after seeing one of them Sasquatch. I, too, have developed PTS after a car accident a decade ago and it's no joke! It consumes your daily life, and the trauma doesn't go away. Even if you've gotten a bit better the trauma still comes and goes with certain things that trigger the bad memory of it.
