That feeling when you've finally got everything all done, you're all snuggled in perfectly in your bag inside the tent, nicely sheltered and just starting to get warm when suddenly you realize... you have to pee.
Knocked over cameras, crashed drone, torn booties, meal dropped on the ground -- I love it! This video is so refreshingly honest. Camping isn't the seamless, perfect adventure it's depicted as, on so many UA-cam channels; it's rough and unpredictable, with equipment mishaps and ever-changing conditions. But that's why we keep coming back to it. Bravo for telling it like it is!
Yes me too. I would not choose to go out and camp in the rain but you just have to grin and bear it when you are already out there in the great outdoors
i needed a new tent to replace my old bulkie, leaky Coleman, and after watching your videos for awhile, i settled on the Cloudpeak 2 and I am so very excited to take her out on her maiden voyage. Got her halfprice on a spring sale too! Once the tornados pass my area of the world this week, i'm hoping to get her out! thank you for being awesome and sharing your stories. you're so bloody inspirational and i can't tell you how much your videos have helped me through some bad times.
Tarp and Tent ? superb, your enthusiasm for wild camping is what makes your channel so good to watch. I am from Scotland and I would love to see you make a video in the glens and maybe even the Cairngorms, although a tarp may not last too long in the gorms lol ! but your tent should be ok. Keep making more of the same, cheers !!!
I can really notice the evolution of your narrating and editing abilities as each video is getting better and better. Your videos are always fun and at times quite amusing. Tents and tarps flying uncontrollably, food falling off the plate, cameras falling over and drone crashes are probably annoying to you, but makes great cinema. Keep up the great work.
Either camping in rubbish wet weather, seems to be Claire's favourite thing to do or bad weather must follow her 😂😂 But either way, another great video. I love how she's not a fair weather camper and shows us that camping can be enjoyable, regardless of the weather. Watching the likes of Claire has inspired me to start saving for camping gear and give it a go
Heyy Seamus, I think the bad weather follows me 😄This is awesome, I'm so exited for you to give it a go :D like Paul just said, start with some small bits.. a sit mat, a lil stove etc. I only paid a few quid for each of those and they still do me well. I started with the very cheapest gear and had a great time with it in the warmer months. Have fun and when you do get out let us know how you get on - tis good for the soul :) Thanks so much for watching and wishing you a lovely week 🌿🐻Claire

You certainly are game young lady! Always such a pleasure watching your videos...reminds me of camping in my younger days when we never let "a little rain" stop us. Alas, age and arthritis has rendered me a fair weather camper nowadays (still in a tent!). You're camping for the rest of us Claire...and that tarp - Great Idea!
Ahh I don't blame you for being a fair weather camper at all! Maybe I'll get some fair weather one day, it sounds nice 😄Thank you so much for watching and have a lovely week 🤗Claire
There is something so satisfying about hearing the rain on the tarp whilst cooking up a nice feed. Glad you showed the pork sliding off the plate, that is something I would do, LOL. Thanks for posting.
How that reminds me of many family camping trips when I was growing up and my Mum staring at my sister & I saying "You will have a good time, we're on holiday" lol. It'll soon be camping season here in Canada Yay !! Another great video, hopefully Bilbo makes a speedy recovery !
Dearest Bilbo, I’m am in hopes that some skilled trekking hands will render you well once more. The tarp served you well. That wind was something else! The green caterpillar at the end of the video seemed translucent! Beautiful!
I adore you and you videos so much. They often make me teary for some reason, probably due to your appreciation of the beauty around you, your musical choices and your editing style - it's just overwhelming for my emotions and I absolutely love it.
Looked like a great day to go camping, your attitude towards weather is awesome. It's not good or bad it just "is" and it's all worth camping in at least twice because the first time i probably did it wrong! Thanks for the great content and the laughs!
Thanks Paul, yep it just 'is'.. I love that! Haha yes, always learning and lots of fun along the way. Thanks so much for watching and wishing you a lovely week :) 🌿Claire
Out in the rain again Claire bring us your wonderful content. Great idea with the tarp and tent combo giving you that extra dry area in the rain. Pork belly looked proper tasty grub, just what was needed in that weather. Thanks again for sharing another adventure.

You are so natural on camera and your adventures make me envious. I can't walk more than 25 feet and only with a stick. The fact that you are incredibly pretty is a bonus. Thank you.
Hahahahahahaha!!! Oh, dear! That was quite an eventful camp this time, eh, Claire? Starting out with the "air-mail" dinner; I instinctively held my hands out to catch your dinner as it went sailing off the plate! The record needle scratch had me wheezing with laughter! Hahahahaha! Perfect timing! The shot of the Orion Constellation made me give a big-time sigh. Orion is one of my most favorite constellations---he is a harbinger of Winter! Have you noticed The Seven Sisters, right nearby? A beautiful small grouping of seven stars. When camping on our houseboat in Lake Powell in southern Utah, in mid September, they rise above the horizon at about 03:00 a.m. It has been a tradition, that whoever sees them first, wakes everyone else up, to enjoy their sparkling beauty (we always sleep out on top of the houseboat, under the stars). I'm glad you get to enjoy Orion, too. Keep your eyes peeled for The Sisters! The pastel colors of your morning sky were beautiful and I loved the guitar music of Bilbo's Theme! Poor Bilbo... All the best for his speedy recovery! All in all, it was another great camp! Thanks for the Joy you bring, Claire! Happy Trails to you! 😊❤
Claire-Beare!!! I must apologize for laughing out loud when your pork-bellies slid off the plate. Bahahaha, you crack me up. Thanks for the joy and the video. (I love my bushbox stove too... it's like a little friend to hike with!!!) Many Blessings from the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho USA.

Beautiful outing and a little dirt on the food never hurts anything. Wool socks are the way to go you live in the land of wools ditch the feather booties. Have fun camping and stay safe.
Claire, I bought a pair of these Baffin-Insulated-Bootie-Black, only mine were a "shocking pink" 😍 ...because they were 1/4 cheaper than black on Amazon. I REALLY like them for backpacking and car camping. They are well insulated with adjustments at top of arch and above the ankle. The sole is stiff enough and puncture resistant enough to walk comfortably in rocky terrain here in the mountains of Montana. That said, I've worn these booties in my sleeping back a number of times. MUCH better than just wool socks. I sprayed my booties with a silicon based waterproofing spray that dries odorless. This helps a lot when camping in wet areas like you had in your camp this time.
Wow, you were in a tent and covered by a tarp? Is this glamping for you? Ha! What would you do if the sun shined ☀ the entire day of camping? You're an inspiration Claire and we all love you for it! 💚 And, yes prayers 🙏 for Mr. Whatever his name is. Stay safe please. 🌲 🌹

Your videos really bring me peace ☮️
You’re such an inspiration. Keep smiling and most importantly stay safe out there
Ahh that's so nice, I am glad 🤗Thank you so much and have a wonderful week :) 🌿Claire
I learn so much from you about camping in inclement weather. Not my fav thing to do but you make it inspiring.

The bear happens to be my favorite animal of all I love them. Even though the can be dangerous. Just leave them be and you will be fine.
