    All those units for a medical ? Seems excessive. They were moving though.

      Cardiac Arrest. Need all the hands you can get to rotate during CPR.

      As stated, it is to rotate in the event it is a prolonged resuscitation. For example, my hometown's fire department, at the time (SOPs changed since then), would send the AMR medic, two ambulances, the two heavy rescues, the EMS Coordinator and a chief officer. Additionally, the nearest engines would be put on standby in the event a LZ was needed and the nearest tower ladder was put on standby in the even they need more assistance at the scene. Very rarely were all units associated were utilized but it pays to be prepared and go overboard than to come up short and lose a life

      @@jimbobcramden In some places thats all it is. In Philly, for example, They send 1 fire truck and 1 ambulance for a cardiac arrest (code blue). But other departments are different. This one in the video is volunteer and if they have the staffing to roll extra to bring more hands to the scene, why not? If they are not needed, they can be released.
