That fan in there is insanity, like putting a lawnmower over a hamster cage. One helluva hvac concession.
Shouldn't you be making your protein shakes with beer by Arnold's logic? Frothy~
Why would he want a cute young lady like that, who is fun to be with and positive attitude. When he could have an entitled, never happy, masculine American w-m-n that would be much older.
Are you sure it’s just American an girls? Just a fyi…most Filipinas want to be an American. They love everything about the culture. They love handbags and clothes and material items…they are where America was 20 years ago and they all want to better themselves like them. You’d be a fool to think otherwise.
@@user-ug9ws7hc3eThe key difference is mindset and values. While most American women become corrupted in their mind because of American culture, most Filipinas don’t. Filipinas who adapt to American culture but don’t adopt it are the best wives you can find. Source: 8 years married to a Filipina and knowing many other Filipinas in my community.
@@user-ug9ws7hc3e wrong
@@Sir_Sway😮😅😅😅😅
Way to stereotype American women yikes. Maybe just mad because most prefer partners their own age and many have good careers now? Jealous of the youth much?
Tim K is the DADDY and Chrissy is the out of control wild DAUGHTER 😁 at times the age difference tells a lot.
weird
@@crazy4u20Good description 👌 it works a convenient marriage especially on the Filipino side but where is the mutual love 🤷♂️
You really have to be careful. A good friend recently brought his girl and son back to the USA from Brazil. Took him 3 years fighting to get paper work to get them here. They arrived 3 months ago then she took off. He is broken. He met her online and visited every year till he got them home.
I would moreso say, dont rush, get to know who your gonna build your future with, maybe use the brain in your head not the other one lol. common sense really.
That's because when she got to the US from Brazil, she realized quickly for crime was much higher than the US and felt more safe in Brazil😮
Not really, she ran off with another guy
@@rangerbull that sucks for your friend. But you get my sarcasm. It's gotten so bad in the US.
I understand. He wasn’t a strong person and just fell for the first girl that showed him any affection. It is sad. She won’t even let him see his son
Chrissy has come a long way from the beginning. I remember how shy she was and how she dressed so conservatively. Now, she’s more in control of what she does, she’s not shy, she dresses fashionable, and she’s more knowledgeable. It’s crazy how time brings so many changes.
Yeah she’s become westernised! How amazing! You don’t get it do you.
I do
She will come out on top.. She has a big support system.³
@@denzilite Take yar meds, Denzel. Let's not show the public that your ex still has a tight grip on ya. We've all been there, but you know... you gotta move on from that. There are good Filipinas out there. Chrissy is alright. She is different. When you start seeing her dancing all day for Tiktok videos, then sound the alarm. She is a responsible girl. She doesn't have that head of hers only to carry hair.
@@denzilite becoming westernised isnt bad. Becoming a woke liberal/democrat is
Awesome video and I enjoy seeing some of the shops and grocery stores along with the prices of things - I'm always curious about this! Also the chemistry between you two is awesome to see, you two are lots of fun 😁Keep up the great works and can't wait to see more 😎💯
Tim you should really add a note on the screen that you mean 18 to 19 year old when you saying that you married a teenager. You were talking to new(ish) viewers and it may come off as trying to say that in the Philippines it is ok to marry someone who is 14 years old.
😮😏🙄👎🏿
Crissy has a great voice for singing, I highly recommend she take singing lessons, definitely a star ⭐️ ❤
you're kidding, right?
I've been doing keto and my grocery bill is very cheap. I don't eat junk food and mostly eat fresh fruits and veggies.
So you eat like a rabbit
Most fruits are not keto friendly. I been on it for awhile now in China and it's so expensive for certain ingredients so I make alot of them myself
good luck finding those veggies in the philippines!
@@jargon9187 there are fruit and veggie vendors all over the place where I live. I can buy bananas for 30 per kg. I can get really good cabbages, carrots, yellow onions, egg plant and cauliflower from a vendor close to the bus terminal. The public market charges too much and the produce isn't as fresh. My city is close to the mountain so we have fresh produce.
@@tka1528 that's true. I'm not eating fruit right now but I can get good fruit for the cheap. I will eat a small banana occasionally.
Awesome show thank you Tim and Chrissy. Have a great day.
Gday l use to be so against marriages like yours ,l use to feel that there was some thing very untoward about it,but watching you both your interactions your bouncing of each other ,it really is not the case you too have changed my feeling totally about mixed marriages you are both a great fit and l wish you both so well.
Chrissy please keep singing in more videos i really liked hearing you sing ✌️😎
I am flying to the Phillipines tomorrow, with my 2 dogs and sitting in a hotel room at LAX. My last day in America. I just had 3 tacos and a coke yesterday in Blythe Ca. it was $24.81 it didn't even fill me up. I think I can eat for at least 3 days for that much in the Philippines. Great info, thanx Tim.
excellent Tim, you guys are getting along so good. Those small convenience stores are always expensive all over, USA, Canada etc.
Chrissy is definitely an old soul. She's a sweetheart. Make haste!
That's actually a good description of Filipinas in general. They are forced to grow up quick and for older Westerners (I'm a year older than Tim) we appreciate that. They tend to be more 'mature' than Western girls of the same age.
You gotta laugh the way Chrissy suddenly switches from Filipino island girl into American lingo mode in conservatiion with Tim it tickles me when she says “Sure”
Americans are the only ones that say z” sure “?
7Elevens are a life-saver in PH, I can attest to it, haha. I hope they'll open some in Siquijor too. My only gripe is that the ones I visited totally didn't have any fruits or veggies.
PH grocery store prices are at prepandemic US prices. You can save at least 2/3 going to wet markets and buying online.
SM, Metro, Robinsons, and S and R are double to triple US prices ounce for ounce with only a few local exceptions.
@@DingusCirc The current inflated US prices that many Americans can barely afford? A lot of Americans are skipping meals now. $100 only fills the bottom of a shopping cart these days.
The full face welding masks are in the kitchen department as they're for use when deep-frying Spam
It’s cheaper in the Philippines and fresh.. Here in my place $200 weekly groceries sucks and not fresh always disappointed 😢😅❤
Been watching Tim for a long time ,glad your wife going to be a nurse..proud of her..she's so adorable
Hi Tim loved the beer prices update
You're definitely living the good chill life bro. We're just north of Dallas, TX in the suburbs and we don't walk out of COSTCO with anything under $350. When we're in the PHL, it's an awesome feeling that we can pretty much buy anything we want and not burn a hold in the pockets. Cheers brutha!
Here two little plastic bags is 76.00 usd
Totally agree here in California
in Canada 3 bags is 200$
4:08 Real Ice Cream! In The Philippines!
Not Just Frozen Sugar & Vegetable Oil!
What a surprised you two pop up again. Enjoyed shopping.
Good to see they have the meat in covered cases now instead of open air like the last time I was there. Thanks for the video, Chrissy and Tim...Jim
I went grocery shopping yesterday in Yakima Washington USA. 5 bags of groceries were $183. The receipt said I saved $45 because I’m a Safeway card member.
How is Yakima these days? I haven't been there in years.
"bags of groceries" is meaning less. Price depends on what you buy.
@@wgblondel a few yrs ago a bag of groceries use to average $20 for me and now they’re averaging $36 so it’s actually a very good indicator of how much prices have gone up. Not useless to me.
This is the first I paid much attention to Crissy. She is indeed like teenager--so cute and adorable.
How many times has he got to say Christy is that right Christy. He followes her around like a puppy dog.
The reason why she said your grandmother is because, in the Philippines, we consider all grand aunts and grand uncles, grandparents as well. We just call them grandmothers and grandfathers. And get this....your first cousin’s kids are considered your nieces and nephews in the philippines. Everyone is on the same level by birth. So Krissy’s cousin’s kids, she would say are her nieces and nephews.
Hi Tim cool shopping center with entertaining humour to go along with. Enjoyed
@Tim K, how was your shopping experience? Do you find the prices lower in the Philippines than here in California? Prices of groceries are rising in Northern California.
Chrissy is texting her boyfriend to ask if he needs anything from the shopping spree 😉😅
Great video
Enjoyed today’s video. I like how you always show the price of daily living there.
Very nice shopping video
Tom I love how you take great care of your crissy ❤️
Looks like a nice place. Thanks for sharing 👍
I like these type of videos you make brother. Nothing fancy, no luxury resorts, just life with the wife. :)
Congrats brother, you really did it🏅🏄♀️
The new mall was packed when I was there.
I’m moving just outside of Maasin next month. I’m with a Leyte province girl too!
Chrissy is fun to watch and your family videos.
Great you back to Philippines
Believe it or not the shampoo and conditioner is much cheaper(30 percent or more when u do the math) in the individual sachets rather than a big bottle, doesnt make sense to Americans...lots of things are not cheaper in volume at filipino supermarkets...
Agree that food prices have jacked up a lot in recent months--particularly at the grocery stores. As for the local markets, maybe still more affordable. We've got SM, Metro Gaisano, Robinson's to go to. They're pricy--
How could you ever be mad with that smile sitting next to you. Thanks for checking in and sharing your life with us.
That convenience store by the capitol/hospital turnoff has the Costco Kirkland brand paper towels they sell by the roll. Good but expensive!
Awesome video loved it very interesting but need way more of this really lets us see that side of living there!! You could make videos forever on the prices of everything in (US Dollars) like you did in this video for everything from mechanic work cost, plumbers, taxi, doctors, haircuts, cost of cars, bars, guns (is there hunting there of any kind??) all sorts of things that no one EVER shows!!! Thanks Tim & Crissy!!😁✌👍👍👍
It is illegal for foreign people to own guns in Philippines. Only locals. So Chrissy can own a gun. Not Timmy.
28 years ago I could buy 6 trolleys of groceries and a 25 kilogram bag of rice for 4,000 piso.
Just finished shopping today 2024 June and my HALF trolley bought bare necessities, no meat no rice. Wecolme to the future.
Great tour of the ‘grand’ mall in Maasin… taken a long time to build. Think my friends in Maasin said the other store (Metro) will be closing…
Probably just a rumor. Metro can easily go head-to-head with Gaisano (same family owns both).
Dairy products like milk and yogurt or at least double the price compared to the US. Plus finding good quality food choices is also very expensive not easy to find S&R and Landers only.
Quite a big shop for the cost :-) personal items included :-)
I won an heineken T shirt back in the UK 15 years ago , so sweet :-)
Like 975 for the show, Have a great day all
husband speaking age 81 - I do not drive in the PI, I haven't the guts to try to navigate their NO RULES except don't hit any one. My eyes are not so good either
and driving down a ramp to park under the store is so dark (to me) that I don't understand how my wife can even see let alone park the car. Tim, I give you lots of
credit to be able to drive there - takes lots of patience.
I'm also up in age. When I first got here 11 yrs ago, I thought I'd never drive. However, after observing traffic patterns and lack there of for three years, I finally figured that I could drive without having a heart attack. I did get a license but now my eyes are failing; and due to intense window tinting especially of windshields, I'd never be able to drive at night even if I survived the kamikaze like counterflowing motorcycles of day time rush hour.
I watch maybe 4 Philippine channels on a regular basis, but Tim's is probably the only one I go out of my way to watch every episode. These with you & Crissy messing around are my favorites.
Thanks for your loyalty!
Its not that chrissy is confused, it is that they talk abotu family differently. While we would call your grandmothers sister as your great-aunt, that is not a term they use in PH. My Nieces kids call me grandfather and my wife grandmother, but they call their mom’s mother as Lola. So we know if they say Lola they mean her, but if they say grandma or grandpa they mean us despite us being their great aunt and great uncle. So its just how they are used to talking abotu relationships. Like how friends of teh family are lumped in as additional aunts and uncles.
Really looking forward to seeing the improved airport in Tacloban open. It is overcost and late already but hoping we can fly direct in there next time we come.
Boy when the Japanese bought 7-11 it really just exploded everywhere all over SE Asia.
Krissy is most amazing.. Never forget meeting her..u both.. Hope you're have amazing time Vietnam . Stay safe 🥰
That is a long receipt for a few items...😊
try stop n shop.
I couldn’t imagine having to live with that guy. Nothing but jokes, insults and silly giggles
Of course the price is low, the workers make $12 a week, not $12 an hour.
in the province the minimum wage is around $6/day, in manila it's around $10/day.....
The cost of living is lower also. I live close to San Francisco Ca. and the minimum wage for fast food workers now is $20 an hour.
@@solomonhutalla6991 yes, but some fast food outlets in California are already shutting down after the minimum wage was increased to $20/hour.
@@solomonhutalla6991 and 20hr is still not enough to live there lol.. Not even close for liveable wage.. Maybe for a poor conservative rural area, barely get by.
Nice shoping
I had some tanduay, 70% vol insane stuff. the way to drink it is a shot of tanduay and straight after a shot of water lol. I SURVIVED THE TANDUAY. along with a huge litre of red horse.
Tim, the way you interact with Chrissy just cracks me up. That's some funny shit. I'm going back now to watch the entire video library. Thanks.
Tim, I found some Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream at SM Maarket in Cebu and Ormoc .Also the best score was the half gallon of Tillamook Toffee Bar Crunch at Robinson in Cebu.
Once a month Tillamook goes on sale buy one - get - one free at my local Pubix in Florida. Best ice cream in the US.
I'm married to a Filipina and her name is Crissy and we are 20 years apart. Married 9 years with an 8 year old daughter. Couldn't be happier.
Protest Nestle! The CEO says, "water is not a human right, it's a privilege."
dude. that was great. Your Gaisano is pretty good. Tortillas was good. I went to S and R last week. Get this.. i got Real Milk. like from California farms... I bought a 1/2 gallon and Honey bunches of oats cereal. Hey. Season is coming up for Pagudpud. I know a place there.. you can get an AC room walking distance to Vista and Heartbreak.. for 1K pesos a night. Cmon... surf trip!
Palompon, Letye is connected to Cebu now by ferry; almost a suburb.
That's a long commute
lifetime membership on a dating site seems shabby
My wife sells wholesale frozen meat, a lot of the meat here is imported from the US/EU now.
How do you know if the US meat is not lab grown.
@@user-li1bg5ex5e Pretty sure lab grown meat is more expensive than normal meat for now, so no reason for it to be for starters.
Good beer prices. 7-eleven saves the day. Thanks for sharing
Hello 👋🏻 from Sogod, Southern Leyte!
Every thing is a luxury here Tim 😊
What a lovely relationship. It's so clear that you are in love. Refreshing blog, thanks for sharing. Please consider a blog on practicals, like the local medical facilities, insurance, buying a bike or car. Would love to see. Take good care and again many thanks, I smiled (Heineken lol).
JW Scotch prices are cheaper there than in the U.S! Our Gaisano Mall (Calbayog) opened about 5 years ago already. We still shop for groceries at Super Metro though. Funny thing... I got shagged last week in Metro for filming (they are cracking down on price shopping by competitors). 🙄
SANA ALL
How muchbis the olive oil ?
I'll be there on the 13th. Excited to experience all this.. and Magnums lol... almost 8 USD here at Walmart
Yeah prices are rising here as in USA. One thing about food here is I always though living here I would eat healthier.....NOT. Philippinas love their junk food (generally). and me being diabetic makes it tough.
711 are generic , good prices across the range , with an ATM , beer prices within range .
Smaller sweets :-) other stuff make a bigger box for same product and charge more .
or like local HTH changed bucket size , 10 - 8 kgs , small increase in price !!
@Tim K what mall is that
I'm in UK and my weekly at WAITROSE is USD 170!!! includes some booze. IKEA really destroyed me
That’s pretty awesome new companies going to the Philippines. I will be there next year. I like your guys videos. Pretty awesome I say.
I wish we had those prices in Canada. I'm so jealous lol 😅😅
Now wait! Those Phil prices are way cheaper than I thought!🧐
i dont know why, but i was suprized to see all that uk/eu/us gear in that big shop, and prices where good aswell so u spent £130, i could live there no probs, going abroad, my only problem is food, as im a very picky eater, and thats here in uk scotland aswell, im sure you are eating alot better now aswell over the last 5 yrs there tim ?
I fm up in Vegas!
So many incredibly beautiful workers there
The supermarkets are nutz there
Central Markets are the way to go , any place in the world .Packages and process food is costly and unhealthy .Support your local growers .
When I was in the Philippines in March of 2018 to see my then-girlfriend, I thought the rice prices were very high. She lived in Santiago City on the main island.
Wow that seems pretty good for the province?
I love Chrissy! Any grandmother would say “ how the hell you get so lucky!?” Sing it loud Chrissy! It’s a good release having the pressure of nursing school and a crazy ass husband!😂❤😂
What camera do you use my friend?
Tim, my man, we need to catch up one day. Love the content
Tim. You could’ve interluded and told my story if was a storybook ending ….but since my long time Filipina was already married. 😳. Oops. Lol
Chrissy’s Adulting is so funny 😂
That music is the beginning is super gay. 😂
When I first started going to the PH, in order for a clerk to run the " cash register " she had to have a college degree in Business. This was 40 plus years ago,
I am not sure if that is true today. I am also glad there are so many workers but they sure can get in the way at times. In the U.S. there are few if any clerks around
that you can ask a question or get help.
Yes still the same. To work as a register in the mall must have a four year degree and minimum three years of experience at a smaller store.
Honestly $1 per roll of paper towel isn’t that bad. Things are getting expensive stateside.
