Useful and concise as usual! In this video you've shown how to get more highend using a compressor/reverb. I would love to see videos dedicated to "advanced use cases" of only one plugin type, compressor for example. Keep it up!
The very first step for de-essing should always be manual volume automation. It takes time but to get a great vocal you have to zoom in close to your vocal track and manually drop the volume of the ess and shh sounds, if you let the de-esser do all the work it will take off too much brightness that doesn't have to be sacrificed.
Dense chroma reverb if i have logic but if I'm using live ? which would you recommend? like another bright reverb with eq options, please :V xdxdxdxdxd
Great Tips, thanks! Just want to add something to No. 4: you can do it with other plugins too. Boz Transgressor 2 or Neutron Transient Shaper (which has multi-band) should deliver very similar results. And there's probably more plugins that can do it.
I makes sense to cut some sibilance frequencies if that range is too aggressive, be even then, boosting the air frequencies is still typically a good idea.
One amongst very few best pro music channel, love from East Africa Tanzania 🇹🇿

Highly agree if you have the isolated channels, while mastering we usually work on the stereo mix so de-esser will have to be it…
@@joshbenzin NO YOU DONT HAVE TO CAUS MY FUCKING SONG U FUCKING ANIMAL
also can use a brick wall limiter to get rid of unwanted peaks before going into a compressor/desser, however, would combine this with your tip!

2:58 - 'Eventide' is pronounced 'eeventide' (emphasis on the 'ee' sound). Otherwise, useful and creative high-end tips.

Great Tips, thanks!

Wouldn't a soft clipper on the drums be a better option?
Its still a kind of compression so...
🙏🙏🙏🙏 thx I guess the next is how to mix low end ;) , keep up
Bravo 💥
Are there any Spliteq alternatives?
AMAZING!!!!!
These steps should be taken after managing the frequencies properly otherwise your mix may suffer from harshness
you sound like a wise guy
Good 🔥
But why so many people cut the high ends then
