This is the clearest explanation I've seen. Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching ❤️
Check my other Pigments videos including a complete course. @
this demonstration is precisely what i needed thank you
This is why Pigments is an excellent tool for teaching synth concepts - you can see what's going on
Absolutely the visual representation is actually what makes this tool so much fun
Thank
you
Thanks for watching
You sir are a life saver
Thank you it’s my pleasure
@@UDiAudio could u do a tutorial on mod envelopes
@@rakbeatz4196 So this is it basically. Like in Sylenth you would have some envelopes labeled and amp or mod.
In Pigments, Env1 is amp envelope and will shape the character of the sound but it can be used along with the others as mod envelopes to control other params like the filter cutoff.
Is that what you are looking for or I miss the point? Like for example in SynthMaster One you actually have mod envelopes.
I can post a video to clear this point
Yeah basically mod envelopes like envelopes for controlling osc 1 or osc 2
One more question that is confusing me a bit about the filter envelope
How are filter envelopes applied?
Say, I have a single oscillator/filter/amp Analog with low-pass filter on 1500Hz. Now when I change its envelope to have 2sec of attack what exactly going on for first 2 seconds after I hit the note? Does the synth gradually change filter cutoff from 0Hz(or whatever min value is) to target value or does it create dry/wet mix for filter and change its proportion from 0% to 100%?
So is it a sweeping action or is it a wet/dry thing ?
