Can’t wait to hear what you guys made of the 2nd one. In my opinion, it pales in comparison and will be easily forgotten.

It used to really irritate me, but now I make a game out of trying to say "yeah" every time Divindra ends all of his sentences with "yeah". He always butts in and says his peace while someone is talking and always says, "So, yeah". I hated it, but I think of it as a game, now.

I remember I didn't really care for this movie because I watched it after watching HBO's Rome. And I felt Gladiator's portrayal of Rome was very Hollywoodized compared to the HBO show. I wonder if I will "Jeff" my opinion if rewatch it.

I’m not a fan of Joaquin Phoenix… except for this movie.
This was the first movie I remember seeing him, and IMO this was his best performance in any movie he has ever been in.

I'm just slightly annoyed at the movie, because historical Rome has so much real drama and they had to make a fictional story of Rome. IF I think about it too much, it's still pretty annoying. But overall, very fun and well shot.

Stop talking about trump all the time. Let's not mix political views into a podcast about movies. A hobby is a hobby, politics is politics
