as someone that has a load of football shirts id personally wouldn't but fakes but I get why people do if anyone is looking for real ones the codes on the tags and inside the shirt is something you always want to look for
Here's my two penneth. Are DHgate or other Chinese websites shirts the same quality as the authentic versions? Absolutely not, for £14-£15 a shirt you can't expect the same level of quality control you'd get at Nike or Adidas. I've had my share of duds from DHgate and others. Shirts with wonky collars, way too small despite sizing up, I once got an Inter shirt with a Juventus Coppa Italia winners badge on. Obviously they are not going to be the same quality. I was at a beer festival a few weeks ago which was a fundraiser for a football club. There were about 50 kids running around in football kits and you could spot the dodgy DHgate ones a mile off. The giveaway for kids shirts is massive neck holes, some of them were so low they looked like women's blouses, but the kids didn't care and they probably cost about £15. The thing about fake shirts being linked to organised crime or unsafe working conditions is completely unfounded and most likely a smear to try to stop people buying them. Let's not forget not so long ago Nike got in trouble for practices in their sweatshops. If it's a shirt that you really want and you'll cherish it for years, buy the original. If you can't afford it use klarna and break up the payments but don't assume the original won't fall to bits in the wash. In my experience generally non-fake shirts are more durable but there are exceptions to the rule and I was absolutely fucking livid with Adidas when my £100 Arsenal shirt started falling to bits after about three washes. At the same time I have had fakes that lasted years and I've worn to death, it's just the luck of the draw. My advice for DHgate shirt buying is this. 1) only use the highest rated sellers, I'm talking upwards of 98.5% and who have sold thousands of shirts 2) if you want it to last, consider not getting a name and number on the back. In my experience they tend to peel off pretty easily. 3) fan version shirts are more durable than player version shirts, that goes for DHgate and authentic shirts. Stitches are harder wearing than heat bonded plastic. 4) it's a numbers game. You're not gonna get a great DHgate shirt every time. They can't afford to throw the shirt in the bin cos the collar's a bit wonky but having said that I've got DHgate shirts that look great and no one could tell the difference. 5) always hand wash your football shirts (real or DHgate). Wash them in lukewarm water with a small amount of detergent, don't iron them, don't hang them on the radiator, don't use fabric conditioner. Ultimately everyone would rather buy the real deal but corporate greed and classic football shirt websites have inflated the cost of football shirts so they're no longer accessible to most people. That's just the reality of the situation and by buying real shirts you're just feeding insatiable corporate greed. Look at the cost of NFL jerseys in the US? That's where we're heading if we don't get control of the situation.
Buyer beware. I recently realized 3 shirts haven’t arrived after a month. Maybe they were seized by customs. We should be conscious of what we’re getting. You can’t pay $2000 for a car and then complain if it doesn’t last. We are adults. I will say, this content does sell. It is what it is
I have had a few fake shirts over tge years and never had a problem. In Turkey the publicise them as 'Genuine fakes' and do a roaring trade. My England top from ten years ago was excellent quality as was my sons Barcelona second strip (yellow and red). They cost me a total of 16 quid and lasted ages with loads of wear and washes.
@@penaltygallery Seems like it indeed. I contacted the seller and he send three parcels. Only one arrived. But what a legend haha. He went out of his way to ensure it got delivered.
It's no brainer £15 to £20 for a fake or £80 to £90 for official... Plus if you wash fake at 30 degrees and turn them inside out they will last till the rob dog major sporting brands bring next seasons shirt out easily. .
I buy mine off Taobao in China. About £8 for the kids shirt, £15 for the players versions. 1/10th of the price. And all of them look brilliant, is there a difference? A bit. The real ones do feel a bit better, but not 10 times the quality! I’ll get the kid a real one when we get back home in the summer, but in the meantime, give him the fakes. Can have home, away and the third. Maybe the goalie ones too!
My grandson wanted home and away shirt, if I bought in a shop it would have cost me around £200, so I went onto DHgate and paid £60 for the 4 kits, how can the manufacturer and the FA justify the prices, they are pricing family's out of it, mo wonder people are going to go a different way
Been putting my shirts in the wash (cold wash) for years never had an issue with damage. With regards to DHGate shirts they are what you pay for. Youre not going to get much longevity out of them, I rather spend the money on the original
I've been looking for a vintage flamengo shirt with zico on the back for my dad who loved him growing up and all of the real ones are 500£+. I've not got that kind of money and I've been looking DH gate shirts. Might order it and hope it isnt utter shite.
I’d never personally buy a fake shirt which is still commercially available but I would and have bought fakes of old retro shirts which to get real costs hundreds of pounds. I’m an Arsenal fan and have wanted the 00/02 gold away shirt for ages and was looking at the price of a real one. One that isn’t completely in awful condition would go from anywhere between £300-£500 which is a ridiculous amount. Then you look at DHGate and they seek it for £15-£25 depending on seller. For some reason, they just can’t seem to get the modern badge right (maybe to swerve copyright?) but they seem to nail the old pre 2002 badge with the exception of the gold outer embroidery not being as thick as the real shirts despite it being the more complicated badge design. So yeah I’ll buy shirts from the 80s and 90s fake to save myself hundreds of pounds. I’ll make an exception and get a real shirt if the price is good (the 08-10, 11-12 and 12-14 home shirts are cheap for Arsenal shirts and they are the shirts I remember owning when younger) or if I really like the shirt and the fake won’t do it justice (I bought a real 1996-98 Arsenal home shirt with Bergkamp 10 on and the old prem patches because it was the special double winning shirt and the 2005-06 Home shirt for the last season at Highbury with Henry 14 and the patches on as the fakes are always terrible for that particular shirt. Other than that, I’ve got my eye on a real 02-04 shirt for 2 reasons. 1, I was born in 2003, 2, it was the invincible year. Though just because I’m an Arsenal fan doesn’t mean I don’t also look for good deals on England shirts too, though most are much more expensive than their Arsenal counterparts, so I had to settle for the Scoredraw version of the 1996 away shirt rather than getting a real one. (They go for £300-£400)
Why should someone who has kept their old shirts in pristine condition not get 400-500£? Also what happens when and not if China gets embargoed and people can't buy fake shirts anymore
@@Micfri300 of course they should but I’m not personally going to fork out a small fortune for a shirt which cost £40 when it came out when I don’t have that kind of money floating about

I buy my retro Arsenal tops on DH Gate. They are much better quality than those Score Draw ones that even the official Arsenal store sell. The current day ones are a bit more delicate. You obviously have to be sensible when washing them. Only wash them at 30 and don't tumble dry and they should last the season. Even if they don't, at £10-£11 you can just get a replacement and you'll still have spent a fraction thwn you would have on a real one.

Like someone said. Made in the same factories just out the back door and not the front.
I bought my 4 yr old a real Liverpool kit. The washer ruined it. After seeing your videos I bought him some fakes. The sponsorship logo is equally as bad on the fake as the real one. For £15 for a complete kit I don’t care. I have bought a few fake ones now for me personally. Matter of fact I’m wearing the 24/25 Liverpool away shirt that isn’t released yet right now and it’s bang on!! Thanks to you I discovered the fake stuff!! I refuse to pay £70 for a shirt when I can get a fake for like £15
It’s just a shame he’s gotta wear a Liverpool kit…. 😅 only messing mate fair play 👍🏾 the soccer03 kits should be here this week, so looking forward to seeing how those compare
@@RysFootyParadise Better than Man U 😉😂.
The only difference I can tell with his fakes and real is the embroidery around the badge isn’t as crisp. From more than maybe 2m away you wouldn’t tell an inch it was fake!!
@@Lingham that’s it and for the youngsters they grow out of them so quickly anyway so can just get another if needs be
@@RysFootyParadiseExactly that. I can get like 4-5 full kits for the price of one RRP legit kit.
I have bought 2 shirts from DHGate
First was solid with some minor defects (mainly the collar was slightly off center)
Second was horrible quality, and is borderline unwearable
But as long as you stick to somewhat reputable sellers you will get at least a passable shirt
Edit: if anyone is wondering wtf happened with the 2nd one, there was only 1 seller and it was an obscure shirt (wisconsin badgers jersey) and I took a punt
Legit shirts do what happened to that del piero, my own bayern munich shirt i bought legit in around 2006/7 with makaay on the back - after a few years in a wardrobe i hand washed it, not even a washing machine and the print started sticking together and was ruined..... lession learnt just never wash them....
I made mistake on normal wash once. Since theb i do 20°C and 400 spin for last 2 and half years no peeling has happened and i use them for sports often.
I wash my sons dhgate shirts all the time and as long as they aren't tumble dried, they're fine. You just need to use about 8 different sellers then go for the best quality on future purchases.
Can't find any fake shirts on the website anymore, is it because of my region or are you guys having the same issue?
I’m noticing the same. And I can’t find the seller/store mentioned in the video
@@willgeorge4015type a player name like rashford and they will come up
as someone that has a load of football shirts id personally wouldn't but fakes but I get why people do
if anyone is looking for real ones the codes on the tags and inside the shirt is something you always want to look for
Here's my two penneth.
1) only use the highest rated sellers, I'm talking upwards of 98.5% and who have sold thousands of shirts
2) if you want it to last, consider not getting a name and number on the back.
It is what it is
I’ll pay £9 for a kids kit all day long, they’ll grow out of it in no time, spending £100 instead is ridiculous
I should have watched the video until the end before commenting....
Wolfgang had me in tears 😂😂😂
He’s now half Welsh 🏴 half German 🇩🇪 with that accent 🤣
At least turn your shirts inside out if washing in washer . Just come back from Turkey with a load of kits, way better than dh gate
This aspect of washing your shirts should have been thrown into the video, makes a big difference in how long the logos last
Wish my mum new back in the day still got them but with prints faded away
I feel your pain, my Mum over washed a lot of my concert shirts.
At least we know now 😆
Too late for those classic originals 😂
I tried ordering two shirts, both got taken by customs. Guess I am unlucky.
Very unlucky - I've ordered dozens and no problems
@@penaltygallery Seems like it indeed. I contacted the seller and he send three parcels. Only one arrived. But what a legend haha. He went out of his way to ensure it got delivered.
Honestly last 3 years as a Chelsea fan I’ve moved to DH gate as the Nike Nikes after 3/4 washes are awful and spending £90 you can’t justify
I currently have both fake and original. I always hand wash them though and hang them to dry. They'll last longer that way.
When I was in China 5 years ago I got most of mine for ¥50
My grandson wanted home and away shirt, if I bought in a shop it would have cost me around £200, so I went onto DHgate and paid £60 for the 4 kits, how can the manufacturer and the FA justify the prices, they are pricing family's out of it, mo wonder people are going to go a different way
Been putting my shirts in the wash (cold wash) for years never had an issue with damage.
Hand wash or cold wash. I've got ones 3 or 4 years and still great
When drying on radiator, my real and fake shirts get destroyed. So try drying naturally, without heat basically.
On the end of season every club is selling their stock and then suddenly they have a " dhgate " price
@@Micfri300 of course they should but I’m not personally going to fork out a small fortune for a shirt which cost £40 when it came out when I don’t have that kind of money floating about
Embossed numbers fail big time.
A tale of two sides in regards to my Maradona away shirt.
The front is perfect. Sewn badge and make.
The back has the silver 10 wrinkled.
Can't find any decent shirts on DHGate like the ones reviewed here and before. maomaojin seems to have nothing for sale. Am I searching the wrong terms? 'soccer jersey'

You gotta search them straight out of Google

How should I wash my football shirts???
hand wash
Ignore those on their high horses. Been watching several videos of yours. Just subscribed to support your channel. I buy original jerseys for my collection. I buy fakes to wear.
Ry, wtf was that at the end? LMAO!!!
Love the video as always mate… especially seeing that Barnsley shirt… that of course is 100% authentic 😂
Of course 😁 worth every penny 👍🏾
DH gate is now a scam. Since Pandabuy was raided DH gate sellers have raised prices and more people are just not getting what they ordered.
never buy and kit real or fake with names on the quality is shocking either way
Just don't get names printed on the back
Whenever I wash my fake football kits i always wash them in 30 degrees and it always works
I'm just way too scared to try this because I'm afraid that customs will confisqate my package and will give me a fine. I live in the Netherlands.
Just dont machine wash, its so easy to hand wash for the sake of £10, as opposed to spending nearly £100
Hey brev I would like to know if the size come smaller or bigger Im a medium Im getting a player version shirt should I go up 1 size or down ?
Yea always go one size up bro
@@longview92Unless you’re Asian or Spanish!😂
I have just received my new Red bull Leeds kit.Absolutely fantastic quality.Thank you DHGate.
Looking forward to the football shirt video and euros content “I’m an all round viewer” 😂
Haha top man 🍻
Thats why I get no name no number
Nice video mate, keep it up 👍
Just get from good sellers and learn how to wash properly and they go for a few years, wich is more then good for a 10 euro shirt
Real officianados know that the triple digit official shirts and dhgate shirts are made in the same sweatshops 👀
Ordered 3 different AS Roma jerseys and 2 Celtic jerseys from DHgate. Can't wait to get them in!! Most of the time when I ordered baseball jerseys from them, it looks a lot like the real thing. Only a couple of times did I get bad ones. But I'm in a football kick now so it will be interesting to see how they turn out.
Just found your channel and your content is great! Lol
Just turn them to the left when washing, so the numbers and stuff are on the inside.
Whats the sizing like on them?
rule of thumb, always go a size up on DH Gate
What can i do when my jersey is fucked up like yout del piero jersey. How can i fix it? Thanks love yout Videos mate. Greetings from germany
All I will say is don't wash them at anything above 40 degrees.
Even the tracksuits are spot on got a United special edition one couple years ago that still looks fire 😂
Lets face it, when you buy a Jersey for 100 Euros + ... i can image that there made in the same factory as DH Gate Jerseys , so why buy a Shirt for over 100 Euros? No.
I think the tag if it says JSY it’s pretty much a giveaway if the jersey is fake but most of the time your not gonna use the shirt with the tag
Only had an issue once with a dhgate shirt. And that was the name on the bk. Cracked after maybe a year n half. For £11 im cool with that
Don’t wash at high temp. The glue will melt regardless of who made it
Would you be kind to tell us how long dhgate take to deliver?
i buy all my kits for my two sons of Dhgate they've got allsorts of kits like são paulo and 1996 England retro can't beat it for price
Ry, Please do not stop making dhgate content. They are amazing videos!
It’s not £15 a kit though is it, they add on like £20/30 shipping
Its 2 or 3 quid postage.
It’s not £20 shipping. I bought the New England home and away shirts and it was £25 for both.
What a perfectly reasonable explanation of a tricky subject and good video
Glad you liked it!
Finally some honest opinions on Reps. At first they look amazing but after a couple of months or so they are absolutely wasted
Your Mrs shouldn’t be washing anything in a normal wash above 30. 40 if it’s really dirty and stinky. Higher for bedding and towels. And if she sticking your stuff in the dryer, do your self a favour and tell her to leave your shirts alone. She should know how to read a washing label. If it was one of her dainty items I’m sure she would know how to care for.
30 degrees, inside out, air dry. Even you want to be extra stick in a mesh bag or pillow case when washing.
I learnt the hard way as a kid mum ruined my arsenal top Dreamcast sponsor peeled right off. Then she discovered it’s cheaper to wash at 30, energy saving 😂.
I don't get players names and numbers on fakes as they never last
2:50 You have the Cantona shirt with the collar up on the hanger, just as he would’ve done 😂
10:29 it’s fake, adidas uses twine
Haha too right! The Cantona shirt was from ClassicFootballShirts £250 😬
@@RysFootyParadise those black dots that are showing up on your kits. It might be mold. Since it’s a shed, the humidity changes very quickly. Might want to keep your authentic kits indoors
Most originals come from sweet shops in Asia anyway.
I’ve had DHgate shorts for a few years, not one has had any issues, wash by hand and air dry👌. If you have to use a washing machine thrn put them in a pillow case inside out👌.
I only use them to play 5 a side in though. And any NFL fans the NFL shirts are 👌👌👌 of there. Also on DHGate if you type in Man Utd and it says no match, top right is an icon that’s red, click on it and press reset. Then they show the shirts.
