I'm not sure the best batteries to use for 36v but 3 3s batteries would give you 33.3v. I found these ones on hobbyking for £40 at 8000mah. hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-compact-8000mah-3s1p-30c-lipo-pack-with-xt90.html?queryID=7429180df971dbc41ed5a9fa0b217a84&objectID=82625&indexName=hbk_live_products_analytics If you check around you'll probably find batteries over 10000mah which should work well and make the bike way lighter.
I'm sure I got it from ebay, it's made for the oset 12.5 that's why it looks good, I think it cost £100 well overpriced for what it is, I was stuck coming up for xmas I knew he wouldn't ride it standing. It was worth it in the end I guess since he's been able to ride it since he was 3.
Hi really find this helpful just a quick question I’m buying the 6s 20,000 amp would the charger you have charge that battery still and would you recommend adding any fuse to the wire as a breaker with the battery I’m suggesting thanks again 👍🏻
No that charger only charges upto 4s you'll need one that can do 6s the imax b6 is a good cheap one but it only does 6amps so might be a bit slow for 20000amps. Look for a charger that charges 6s at 10 amps, just make sure the chargers not fake there's a lot of cheap fakes out there.
Depends on size of battery, what power you use, kids weight and if theres a lot of start stops. Think I get about 30 mins but there only 6200mah batteries, you can get 20000mah 6s which should outlast the lead acid batteries.
I should of said in the video. I use two lipo voltage checker connected to the balance plug. You set the lowest voltage you want, say 3.1v per cell, a beep goes off alerting you the lowest voltage has been reached. It's not a voltage cut off but the beep is quite loud. This is what I use hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingtm-lipo-voltage-checker-2s-8s.html?___store=en_us&gclid=CjwKCAjwrqqSBhBbEiwAlQeqGhKuOE9K3Z9RZnMmkrPWkHVnlMffCvlSyqsaWmvOePk1DswvuNBchhoCb3oQAvD_BwE&gclid=CjwKCAjwrqqSBhBbEiwAlQeqGhKuOE9K3Z9RZnMmkrPWkHVnlMffCvlSyqsaWmvOePk1DswvuNBchhoCb3oQAvD_BwE
Great video. Do you have a link for the batteries you used. My son has a oset 16.0 36v

Maybe need a higher mah for better run time.
What seat you have on there? My kids are stuck with one I cut by hand, and it's not very secure. Yours looks great

I don't think you'll need to add fuse, but it won't do any harm .
What about the sky rc t200 I noticed they do a better version just trying to get my head round it all 😵💫
@@liamhickman358 yeah mate that will do upto 6s at 12amp, you could charge two 6s batteries at the same time.
Hi matey how long does it last ? My sons 12.5 only lasts about 40 mins

@@09mallin have a look on hobbyking, think they sell 6s batteries up to 20ah.
What do you use for voltage cutoff?
