I'm 41, so I decided it's time to let go of the cute bright pink ruffle girly dresses and things. I just looked at myself and thought you are too old to be wearing some of this stuff. I'm more mindful of where I shop. Quality not quantity.

Over the past few years (I’m 40), I’ve noticed an internal nudge to bring more intentionality to my wardrobe. Not only in an effort to tread more lightly on the earth (vs. giving in to the pace and waste of fast fashion) but also as a way to honor myself a bit more. I put thought into the food I eat, so why not the clothes I put on my body? I’ve been surprised by how transformative this simple discipline has been.
