15:37 I agree, moon phases look much better at 6 o'clock than 12. Partly why I love the discontinued 5316-P so much, it has the most symmetrical dial for a grand comp that I have ever seen! But with the new "smokey slightly skeletonized" version, I think it slightly removes that feel of symmetry because you kind of see the gears behind. Still an amazing watch overall though!
Absolutely amazing release video Marco and Adrian. Loved nearly everything especially the emerald and Ruby grand master chime. This year's Patek Philippe releases are one of the best I've seen. Lots of love from Australia. Abs.
Thanks so much I really appreciate that! Tim has been doing this a lot longer than me so all respect to him as he is a great ambassador for the watch industry 😁🙌
Those are gorgeous watches, great complications, I don't know which one to choose as my favorite model. Patek hit a massive home run with these new releases. Marco is once again crushing it, his knowledge is unearthly! Adrian shows he knows how to pick the best of the best. Thanks guys, this video is 🔥 🔥
You the man Frank! Appreciate the kind words and your support as always!! Think Patek knocked it out of the park with these releases. Stole the show and won Watch & Wonders 2023 😁🙌
@@MarcoFerranteWatches From what I've seen I can totally agree with you. Patek had releases that far surpassed anything the other brands put out this year.
Man this is tough. Patek is more historic but AP's acquisition of Renaud & Papi has really allowed them to push new boundaries. But If I had to choose one, I'd go Patek for sure 😁🙌
PP>> AP because PP has MANY lines that are desirable. The recent platinum world timer is very popular. The calatrava is classic, the aquanaut is as hot as any watch on the market, the chrono perpetual calendar is a grail for many people… and I still haven’t even mentioned the nautilus. AP has the RO and ROO, in time and chrono complications. That’s it.
@@MarcoFerranteWatches awesome Marco! I'm really interested in your guys take on the IWC Ingenieur, especially in regards to the prices! I personally that they overvalued them by a couple of thousand.
Patek Philippe's 180-year history is a tribute to excellence, precision, and innovation. Their mastery of complications and commitment to quality have made them one of the most prestigious watchmakers in the world, and their timepieces are a symbol of luxury and the art of horology.
Hard to top a 5531...but Patek did it with the 5316P. Maybe only because the 5531 isnt in Rose Gold. Two absolute grail watches though. They're one-off cloisonne art watch with the racecars is fantastic too.
5224R is not a Pilot's watch. Patek describes the 5224R as a Calatrava Travel Time. Patek describes the 5524G and 5524R as Calatrava Pilot Travel Time. 5924G is not an alarm watch, it has a chronograph combined with a travel time function in a Pilot style case. 5531G has the same case as 5531R.
As much as I love patek, how they treat potential customers makes Rolex AD’s seem like the most welcoming people on earth. Just got back from Aspen, staying at the Little Nell where the Patek dealer is, and they wouldn’t give me the time of day. Both the Rolex, AP and Lange boutiques were all very welcoming. Let me try on various pieces, Patek nothing
100% agree with Adrian and that Patek is also my personal favorite brand. These new watches & their line up are absolutely insane. Flawless & absolutely stunning.
Marcus legit has the hidden knowledge. Lb better hang onto this guy. His future is limitless Especially when he's let loose and can speak about his knowledge without being interrupted
Would love to see Adrian & Marco do a full professional run down on Jay z's watch collection. Theres other video's on youtube about his collection, but no one has done it properly.
Respectfully, disagree slightly. Hot take: I think what you’re seeing here is a response from the big three to Jacob. These watch companies are trying to come up with something new& interesting ,artistic refreshing because of Jacob & co. Will they sell because of the brand-name sure hot sellers I’m not so sure, take the name off the face 98% of those watches don’t sell in my opinion. That’s why the designs and choices don’t make sense. Jacob is an engineer and an artist he the man he’s the future king.
@@MarcoFerranteWatches Jacob is the greatest watch designer of our generation, the Elon musk of horology. And in the spare time he engineers buildings stay tuned. 💁🏾♂️
A view from the UK. All you guys seem to jabber about is the "look" of a watch, the jewellery aspect. It's like taking your car to the paintshop for a respray. If that's the case just buy a be-jewelled bracelet. What are the changes/innovations mechanically not the different colours of gold and diamonds, perleese guys, i'd hate to go clothes shopping with you 2, worse than my wife.
Patek is not necessarily known for crazy innovation. Many of these releases simply feature old movements in new designs which is what we are ultimately breaking down here 👍
@@MarcoFerranteWatches Marco, "Designs" for crying out loud, all they are, are different cases for the same movement. What the Sam Hill are you "breaking down"?
Marco is killing it man, best integration to LB ever
Funny when he was introduced some people were saying he wasn't a good fit . 🤡
Agreed!!
@@axiom4694 He wasn't necessarily. He just adds enough value just being himself that he doesn't have to fit in as such.

Sad to hear that the 5905R with brown dial is being discontinued. The new blue one is nice though.
Yea it was discontinued about a month or 2 ago I want to say. But new 5905R is a great replacement 🔥💯
Marco is exceptionally sophisticated and has a true affinity for horology, pleasure to listen to.

100% agree . Patek Philippe is #1.
The blue light shining on the logo on the wall looks awesome.
Glad you recognize Patek is still king! Great video, great releases.
Thanks very much! No doubt Patek is still 👑
Glad you enjoyed this 😁🙌
How long it take usually for those new watches to show up on Luxury Baazard for sale?
Usually it's a matter of a day or two 😁👍
We didn’t see enough of, if any, of the 5316 in your vid! I agree though, Marco, a stunning piece.
My favorite release of 2023 so far 😍🔥
marco looking fresh with that fade!
Haha thank you! 😁🙌
Marco! Love the info, have you ever had a grandmaster chime for sale? Or are they like only given to the marky marks of the world?
Haven't had one for sale. Super rare watch that rarely trades hands. Typically will only be resold at auction 👍
Great job guys, can’t say I missed Roman at all - much more constructive discussion this time

Do you make these videos Only for watch experts?? I am lost with all them numbers.
