    I own it, and love it! Yes, the battery it comes with is low powered and doesn't last very long, but the cordless trimmer I have in my shed runs on the more powerful Ryobi battery and is my back up for longer use. Amazon has inexpensive replacement batteries you can keep on hand charged and ready to go too. Great for my hotter than blazes deck. It's gonna come in handy for my twin girls birthday party in July when the whole family is here. Kids in the pool and adults on the deck (no longer dripping sweat waiting for the kids to get out)!

    @ Tyler Dama that would be a great idea if the fan locked onto the bucket. It would make it easier to transport. I thought I had it bad here with the heat but I forgot how bad it gets over there in your state.

    Nice review Javier! wish the fan would lock on top of the bucket allowing you to pick up the fan and bucket with one hand.... Either way here in AZ, it has ALREADY hit triple digits a few times and this would come in handy.

    Great job! That is awesome that the batteries are interchangeable with the other Ryobi li-ion battery packs....I am sure if you had a few of them, you could stay cool all day long :)

      There are knock off ryobi one batterys on Amazon. 6ah for $38. Can use the stock charger, would just take about 18-24 hours to charge.

    I got one and it worked fine until the battery died. I returned it to home depot got another one and it did the same thing only can use it once because the battery will not recharge.
    the new ryobi battery replacement cost about the same amount as the fan, and the charger even more.
    great idea if it stayed working.

    • @samsignorelli
      @samsignorelli 5 років тому

      Yeah....we had the same issue a couple of years ago. We solved the issue by buying 3 Ryobi batteries and the charger...on a really hot day at my wife's farmers market stall, we need all three. No issues since then.
      The fan and mister are great....it's the battery that it comes with that sucks ass.

    So one would still be able to fully close the rear battery compartment lid while using the bigger 4.0 battery? I know you said it can be used but never addressed whether or not the lid would fully close. Hard to tell from the angle shot used in the vid.

    • @ToolCraze
      @ToolCraze  10 років тому

      I haven't tried it with a 4.0 battery but it appears to have plenty of extra space in the compartment to accommodate a larger battery. The box even references the ryobi 4.0 battery.
      It says: "** For up to 7 hours of run-time with Ryobi Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah battery"

    My artic cove was TOO much water spraying .. And battery gave out way too soon!! You will need MULTIPLES FOR A all DAY EVENT!! My battery didn't make it 2 hours after charging for over 2 days!! Totally disappointed!!

    • @ToolCraze
      @ToolCraze  9 років тому

      Grace Kilbourn the included battery is a small capacity battery and comes with a slow charger. You can buy ryobi batteries such as the 4.0 ah for much longer runtime and the ryobi fast charger for faster charge times

    • @matthellcat2494
      @matthellcat2494 9 років тому +1

      Grace Kilbourn Oh that's disappointing, was really interested until I found out its only battery operated. Less than two hours of run time is a drag. It should come with two batteries so you can charge one while you use the other. .

  • @robf5496

    I had to return my first one because battery compartment wouldn't stay shut. Very cheaply made unit and the battery and charger is garbage. It works intermittently. I had the battery charging for 30 minutes and it still wont work. For $80 at Home Depot and I've seen it a lot more.I expect better.The mist only sprays about 5 ft. not much more than a personal mister maybe good for 2 people. This is a piece of garbage that I will be returning. Save your money !

    Really?...you get Positive feed back and you did not even turn it on. Way to many so called reviews on here with the product not being used.
    For you fools saying good review and that you are going to get on...look at the other real reviews where they actually use it. Under powered and it moves a low volume of air. Look at real reviews before you spend your money.

      there are multiple clips of it running, it obviously has to be on to be running
