if they make this with oscillation mode it would be perfect.
Great video. I bought mine 2 months. This fan is a beast. They did a great job with this
Fan really is beastly. Yeah a great release for craftsman. Will help with the summer heat.
How long will it run on high mist 2amp battery?
@@joshuamills5778 I’m not sure since I have only used the 6ah. I get about 6-8 hours with the 6ah depending on speed and misting mode
RYOBI lots quieter and works great.
Amazon reviews say on a small patio or apartment patio, even on low, the misting will soak you.
its much stronger then the original no mist
How long will the battery that comes with it last?
I bought this as a tool only option so I had to use the batteries i do have. Have no idea on runtime. Wasn't patient enough to test it out on runtime in just fan mode and fan/mist mode. Going to have to do that when I have some free time.
Any idea how much water/ice you need for it to last the entire runtime?
No idea. I just make a slurry and will use it for a certain amount of time. Lots of variables at play to try that.
I'm hoping craftsman comes out with a 3inch cut-off tool like dewalt
That'd be a great tool
only downside 4 amp doesn’t last long
What is that noise it’s making? My ryobi is whisper quiet compared to that.
The misting pump
I don’t think adding ice makes much of a difference
i wish it had ac power like the shop fan... big miss by craftsman. easily be worth 30 dollars more if they did that.
AC power definitely would have been awesome
DeWalt’s misting fan doesn’t have direct AC either, unlike their non-misting version. They say it’s because of its proximity to water, which makes complete sense.

I don’t think adding ice makes much of a difference
I do it to make the water as cold as possible to have a much cooler misting feel.
