I absolutely love your art. Especially this one because it shows a lot more than just a painting. You express yourself through color. Although I would’ve wished this would’ve been a better art piece in painting, it’s still a great art piece if you get me. It’s more than just art 👏🏼

I love the idea of this. I'm not a graffiti artist so I can't say I know how enjoyable/stressful it is but I go to Download Fest in the UK every year and it would be amazing to see artists doing this over the 5 day event. IMO festivals need to get back to the roots of what they're supposed to be, too many are soulless and commercial these days, nothing unique about them. We need more varied art and culture at these events and seeing artists work to create things like this would be a great experience. I hope you get to do this again because even if it's not your best work I think it's important to be more creative and diverse at such events.

I paint murals as well. I have found that almost anything you paint is going to be loved except when painting specific people and not getting the likeness perfect, then people will rip you a new one all day long. I feel your pain when the idea doesn’t seem to match the final painting. But the fact is, painting is always going to be a challenge and like you said, a 2nd day would be key for fixing all mistakes, that’s art baby!!! I love your content, let’s collaborate!

I think this happens to everyone (& across all creative mediums).
A band I liked from years ago had an EP titled: “They can’t all be Zingers”.
I really like understanding that even the best out there make things that don’t quite work, (sometimes it’s opposite too - ‘you’ really like it, but who ever the audience is, for them… well it still just kinda flops)… you can always learn from these, but sometimes you just need to take it in your stride and try again.

Sure its not your best work but the people still loved it, you can still clearly tell what the image is, and it serves its purpose for the event. You also did it very quickly which is more impressive than anything. You know now how much more important colour choice is than you thought so you’ve learnt something too. FYI: if you needed some tape to make your wall… More of a wall.. you should have {could have would have} asked the sound guys. They always have gaffer tape. As long as you will bring back the roll, they {most likely} would have let you have a few meters 😁 as Always, love your videos 🎨💞

A successful painting is one that serves its purpose
Maybe not your best, but it still looks killer, and the crowd obviously liked it so it fulfilled its purpose. It was dope, it was hiphop, and it added to the overall atmosphere.

Oh No!!!! .... you tried live painting at a Festival Too 😭😭😭 Bro, I did this for the first ever time 3 years ago, exact same scenario right next to the main stage - except I had 30 metres long wall (and the only graffiti guy there) !! 5000 peoples drunk raving dancing and getting freaky up against my piece as im trying to paint 😱🤯😭! I mean it was fun yeah, but for painting it was extremely hard circumsstances I couldnt even think what I was doing it was so noisy and so many people asking questions whilst trying to stop people taking spraypaint and running off 😂😂😂🥳🥳🥳. Like me, now youve done that one youl know what to do better next time - maybe you and me together 😂😂😂☮️🎲

Why as artist do we marginalize and downgrade ourselves... The painting is awesome and you are your worst critic. Don't let your head hurt your heart friend. Keep on doing the great things you do, and once in a while experiment and make the best of what you want to do... Art is the love of creation, and not a lot of folks are even trying to create anything... Just remember you did this knowing you don't like the thing you tried, but as like myself others will certainly love it❤

Thicker outlines hide a lot of crimes.
I think you should have sketched sth that you like in the first place. Then you would probably have more fun painting it which you would have seen in the final result as well. Just because its a HipHop Event its not necessary to have a HipHop theme.

Don't get me wrong the piece looks pretty good but a lot of focus has been pulled away into staring into the camera and taking a bit longer with distractions,
If it were me I would put a small obvious tag in with the portrait than spraying up a bigger one taking away focus from the main objective.

I liked the sketch better, but the final result is also good, and in the end you can see that you have a good hand in drawing and graffiti and that is what is important, I draw more in the classic style and the truth is that I have a hard time with the attitude of bad works (when you have the skill, and you have good skill... ) because art is more a matter of personal taste, and let's say if you didn't show the sketch I wouldn't have anything to compare it to, this is the tendency of artists to destroy themselves with over-criticism
the 2 tones used on the face are kinda shit too. they cant all be masterpieces though or it would trivialize the process.
