oh man, it was so sad, that I could not be there…
I got my neck injured last year at work and have had times where my vision gets blurred when my nerve gets pinched and I had a mini panic attack when your video went blurry.. thanks haha..also great job adjusting your design and getting the job done.. it's easier said then done but have more confidence in yourself man, your one of the most inspirational artists of our generation and your style is why you have a million people watching your videos.. thanks again for the art, and hope the neck gets better!!

Hey Doke - regarding the dizzyness, get your doctor to check you for BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). I had that for a while and it's a trip!

Dehydration can also effect your eyes like that. And you’re right, it’s scary.

I'm not usually one who freaks anyone out man. I had blind spots and headaches for a spell recently, wasn't worried.
But had it checked at the Doctors, it turned out to be a brain tumour. So get things checked out, even if you think it's nothing. 👍 😁

You should try to make a custom paint-mask, you don't have to use spray you can just use markers
I am also an artist and have had problems with my neck and even tendonitis. I don't wish it on anyone if you are an artist because you can't draw and that feeling is terrible, a torture.
I recommend you to go to a physiotherapist, I did it and it totally relieved me, it's an exhausting process but it's the best thing for the body and your career. Also change bad habits and postures with the cell phone.
I have never had this blindness because of my neck but because of migraines, which is also horrible. aaaaalso, a friend of mine suffers a lot from neck pains because she drives a lot her car.
I hope you get better and work on it!

Hi Doke, I am a longtime fan, and like your work, and I am a bit worried about your neck problem... for me I found on yt a lady, Kari Cordier who has some very helpful tutorials and training in this respect. I wish you a full recovery and all the best from the neighborhood... 😊
It could also be vaso vagal. For me it mostly happens when I dont eat or drink enough, but its also usually accompanied by pretty much fainting and sometimes throwing up, so idk.

Chiropractor will definitely help 100% I go every few weeks since I get jet lagged often from flying often in small air craft.
i had that blurvision once, it was real bad everything, my whole vision was spiky blurry.
i was standing in the sun i was watching someone fish and suddenly BOOM.
i rly needed to get myself together mentally it slowly went away but it was scary AF.
looking at my hands helped a bit and focussing on one spot.
but getting urself together in your head was most importand, realizing what you go through and fight it and stay awake and aware of urself i dunno how to tell otherwise.

12:07 it may also be anemia. I have it and when i get up to fast my vision goes blurry or black for a few seconds
As a carpainter, we learned at school, that “mask time” is important. A fresh air mask 6 hours, but a filter mask like this one you have on, is only 4 hours a day. Otherwise your lunges is at hard work. And remember 2-4 liter water everyday buddy 😊 Sorry my english

Hey Doke, heads up. My eyes used to do that when I would get dehydrated. 2 glasses of water would make it go away. Mine was more of a swirl than a blur and only one eye. Good luck!

Great video as always,, love how the cat turned out (I am partial to cats) and I don't think the impromptu colour scheme was a bad thing at all; sometimes the best artworks are those that are unplanned!
As far as your neck/vision problems - PLEASE please take care of yourself! _not_ uploading a video isn't worth your health. Long term health is much more important than short term monetary gain!! Money can't buy you a new neck (...yet). Pilates has some great (and gentle) neck exercises - focusing more on building up strength in your limbs than necessarily flexibility like other, similar, things. There are also plenty of online resources for pilates. If that doesn't help, check yourself into a physio or chiropractor - the ones in the UK take self-referrals but idk about anywhere else.
take this advice from a 38 years old drawer, go to a chiropractor, it's the best for the neck. Love your videos man!!

Take care of that neck, it's important, nice painting btw, build stand for ipad and drawing, a retractable desk is great, i built one myself because I have a neck injury, it has helped plenty.
Oh my dear please do take care of yourself! I hope you get an mri image or two to rule out other things. It does indeed sound like a pinched nerve, but anyone experiencing such things for the first time should get checked out. As always your work is extraordinary! Need the "chirp" back wheels those things are incredible! They make neck and back ones I draw and do electrical work so always looking up or down and shoulders up. Use them every day for 10 minutes they help!

My honest opinion is that you should see a doctor and do some tests and exams. It could be nothing and it may be something you can fix with some changes to your lifestyle, but it can also be caused by more serious issues, and those, the sooner you find them, the better. Take care dude

To Smoe: get well soon! to both of you: Take care of yourselves!!! To Doke: you might want to, (very carefully) try different types of exercises. I have found that developing my shoulders has mostly eliminated neck pain caused by electronic use; but it might be some different exercise that would help you. everybody's body and body condition is super different.
