Cannot stress the point about breathing in fumes enough. Iz the Wiz was a legendary writer who ultimately died some 30 years after starting writing, as a result of all the paint fumes he inhaled over the years.
Actually came here to say that... Asked shortly before he died, after a long stint in hospital, something along the lines of "...But you'd do it all again, right?" he said (paraphrasing), "Well, actually no - if you don't have your health, you don't have anything..." Of course, like most of us, one suspects that even with the benefit of hindsight, given his time over again he very well might have made the same mistakes again, and of course he's a writer with a legacy that can't be taken away from him. Given time, the elements, and the 'refresh rate' in a place like New York, probably very little if any of his work _physically_ remains, but his place in the firmament of Graffiti is unquestioned. Among other things, he featured prominently in the 1982 Tony Silver/Henry Chalfont film 'Style Wars', the movie which prompted many of us writers of a certain age to get into the game. One really has to give him props though for not having just gone with the cool, throwaway answer that I suspect most of us would have given. Hard to know how many nascent writers his words will have reached, but one is reminded of James Cagney's character in the film "Angels with Dirty Faces" when the Cagney character deliberately sacrifices his 'cool' in the hope that none of the Dead End Kids will end up going to the chair like him. Forgive me for being a bit 'dramatic', but I think a lot of us 'grappers' are given to a romantic mindset! And as someone who's in a wheelchair because of the misadventures of my youth (not actually from writing, but could just as easily have been), Iz the Wiz's answer deserves to be taken seriously... It's great to have a life of adventure to look back upon, but really, without one's health, one _does_ have nothing! In my case, "It's all fun'n'games until somebody loses a leg!" Happily of course, one doesn't have to choose between one's lungs, kidneys etc, and taking their shot at graffiti fame, thanks to those HEPA masks, filters etc... If only they could give us wings when hitting those heaven - spots!
The rule about writing on other people's pieces is really important. Ive seen many people writing on my pieces ( mostly toys ) who didnt want any beef a just wanted to paint when there was no space. hahaha
Yo, yesterday I found someone with almost the same tag as me. Mine is “aero” and his is “aeko”. Am I wrong for taking a fat marker and blacking out his tag? I’ve had mine for over 1 year and he suddenly came up beside my tags the last few months. Do I just make beef with him and erase all his tags with mine or do I just ignore it? But then again I don’t want his name to be big and then called a copycat yk.
mmmm i feel you man but idk
Maybe try to make more tags than him and get bigger than him, so he seems like the copycat.
You only have claim for "aero" in your area at best. You can obv start beef for any random reason.
I dunno if am just weak but my hands were so cold tonight I couldn't even press the cap down on my flame orange booster
I just couldn't press it down it was so hard so I threw up with my left hand instead lol
i think sometimes those caps are ehhh
And these are the reasons why i use stickers
straight upppp
These videos are good for anyone who wants to start graffiti... Keep it up bro 💪
thank you heaps man
Youfo is the best
Nah man not even close !
real shit I was deep down train tracks into the woods one time and I crossed paths with a black bear. I was able to spook him and he took off but jeez I was terrified hahahaha.
The camera thing really freaks me out these days. I’m an older guy and it wasn’t this prevalent before. Any tips?
yeah man :/
just wear all black and fully cover face
it's a good day when youfo post
thank you so much man

Favorite youtuber by far💪💪
man thank you so so much!
To be honest I expected something different. I'm not familiar with your content. My first impression was about via telling me something about advanced techniques, get out-of-the-box inspired ways to create new composition, language and so on.
I was wondering to see a guide not get busted, because you didn't make the elementary school😅😅
So this is more things you should know before doing graffiti 😊👌
i’m just glad you watched it man :)
I like getting utterly wasted and making loads of noise whilst I paint upside hospitals and morgues. I like to make a right good mess too and I shout obscenities at people who go by.
I also like to wear the same clothes and I make sure my hair is styled just so, that way I look nice on any cctv that picks me up. I have loads of ID on me too so I can prove who I am if the cops turn up, which seems to happen a lot for some reason.
hahahaa nice

Quick question, I did a small tag somewhere and this dude did a really toy tag that said ISKO and my tag did look way better. What do I do?

is it acceptable to go over a piece someone "older" than you in the scene if the piece you made is better than the one they made? (in a non beef way also in a legal wall)

Ik ive been asking alot but can u make the rating viewers graffiti a public vid cus ive been sending in and i would love to see ur rating on mine and i cant realy afford memberships and stuff.anyway love the vids❤️❤️
Hey man, they are mainly for the members now as they get little to no attention, maybe in the future tho
I worry about CCTV cameras. Ive been stupid and just doing graff in my street clothes, and like, im a giant transsexual and probably am SO distinctive

When the cops come knocking just swap into other gender clothes and make them really confused, wasnt me lol!

DON'T DRINK AND SPRAY. All people that got caught I know, drank beforehand. Not much, but enough to be slightly light headed.

How about not doing it, unless you are an artist (and not just a spotty teenage tagger) and not just spraying on anything you want?
